A flower from a flower

Nature is always full of surprises! The Spiked Red Leaf Plant that I posted a couple days ago threw me a curve today.

I watched the bloom push out another little white flower from the towering central part. This plant could not decide on what color its leave would be at first, then it produces flowers inside of flowers. Amazing.

I got this one with its own shadows falling on its own petals. I hope you like it.

So many surprises with this one.
