People will expect too much of you, they will doubt you and it is probably the reason why you are still hiding with your mask. Should you rely on them? Do you really need to reach their expectations?

You are unique and different
It is important to know that you are unique and different from other people. You have skill, personal likes, decisions that are different from them. No need to rely on their decision, even if it is your family.
Don't get me wrong, family knows the best. But when it comes to your personal likes and decisions in life...you have a freedom to choose. Unless you are going down the wrong path.
Nowadays, racism is becoming an issue and controversial. They separate the rights of black and white people which is unjustifiable for human rights. Color does not define your future and nature. Racism should not be tolerated.
Trivia: This is off topic but did you know that people who have black skin (hair) contain more melanin? People who have more melanin in their skin have a lower risk of sunburn and skin cancer.
You have your own life
It is funny that people love meddling with your life but they cannot fix their mess. These are the people that you need to avoid because you will not gain any benefit from them, it will only bring you down especially if you are a sensitive person.
You have a life, they also have it. Once they interfere with your plans, why bother yourself by listening to them? Do not doubt yourself if you know that you are doing the right thing. It is important to know the time that you should ignore or listen to them.
As people say, “mind your own business.” Usually, the negative people around you envy your success. So, keep pursuing your goal and continue your plan.
Your future should not depend on them
Sadly, your future depends on them. Here's why, if you listen to their negative words and plant a seed of doubt in yourself, frankly, you will not succeed. This is why you should not depend on your life and future with them.
Decide on your own, think twice or 100 times before making decisions. Finally, go to your decision. Only listen to those people who are sincere and care about you. They are the missing piece of your puzzle.
We can use investment as an analogy. When making an investment, you need to do your own research and decide on your own. Should I invest in this? If you get a loss, you cannot blame anyone but only yourself.
They are not with you when you are suffering
You got lost but your haters are not with you? Of course! As I said earlier, those people envy you. They are only with you when you are going to reach success, when you are on the peak.
It is funny that they are obvious, poor them for being envious.
Improve yourself, self-growth, and personal development
It is important to be you because it can help you to grow and develop yourself. Learning to accept your flaws will make you mature enough to face and conquer your fear.
Subsequently is loving yourself. When you learn to accept who you are, I think you are ready to love yourself. Seriously, a lot of people find it difficult—including me. We are just in denial that we love ourselves but the truth is not. As long as you cannot accept your scars, you are not loving yourself.
It is important to do it, you should be the first one to love yourself.
