One of the hardest thing as a writer is lack of ideas on what content you are going to write especially if you don't have a specific niche. Sometimes, it is because of laziness and changing of mood when everytime you write. According to Wikipedia, “writer's block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author is unable to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. This creative stall is not a result of commitment problems or the lack of writing skills.”
In short, it is a condition where the author is having a hard time to write because of different aspects such as; can't produce a topic and ideas, laziness, not in the mood and etcetera.

Go outside and go for a walk. As a writer, you also need to breathe a fresh air and look on our beautiful environment. In this situation, you will have an idea on what topic you are going to write. Look outside and try to relate the environment on your chosen topic so you will improve your content with your own creativity.
Rest and don't pressure yourself. You don't need to write a content everyday because you are a writer. If you are a writer, it doesn't mean that you don't deserve a rest. Learn to take a break because your mind are asking for it. It can be your way to get an inner peace and produce a perfect work. Taking a break doesn't mean you are not productive, you are only doing it because you deserve it for doing a great job. Personally, I did this thing recently. I didn't write for almost 4 days because I can't produce a content. As of now, I can write again and harvesting a good result.
Read and watch. If you can't think of any topic, the best thing to do is to read other articles or maybe watch some videos on YouTube or Facebook and any other medium. In this case, it can give you an idea on what you are going to write...it doesn't mean that you are going to plagiarize or copy the content of others' but you will only try to get an idea.
Let me give you an example, if you have read a content about “Resting is only a waste of time” if you are not agree on what's written on it, you can oppose it by writing your ideas, researching and look for statements that will support your words. In addition, if you have read or watch a content and you are not satisfied on it, you can do your own research and deepen your understanding and write it, improve it on your own way. In the end, you can produce your own content without copying someone's article.
Talk to your relatives and friends. This is a double purpose condition. At this point, you are improving and making your bond stronger to your friends and relatives. Also, you are giving yourself a free time to rest and make up an idea on what are topics that you are going to write. It can also improve your social health and make your relationship healthier than before.
How to fight writer's block?
The simplest thing that you can do to fight the writer's block is to trust yourself. It is always applicable in different situations because it can improve yourself and even your content by trusting yourself. If you do not trust yourself before you start writing, it is possible that it can cause writer's block, procrastination and bad content.
To make it possible, you must have deepen your understanding on your chosen topic so you will be confident on the content that you are writing. You can do it by doing research and reading on reliable source of information so you can write correct statistics, data and information that you need on your work.
Disadvantages of writer's block
Obviously, it has disadvantages. When writer's block attacks on you, the best thing to do is to do the list that we gave above because it can cause different disadvantages such as decreasing your revenue, lessen your income, make you lazier than usual, it can make you frustrated and produce a bad content if you pressure yourself.

As a writer, it is normal to experience it so you don't need to worry that much because everyone will experience it. The best thing to do is to overcome it by trusting yourself and taking a break. It can also help if you will take a nap to bring back your energy in writing your work.
