Affiliate Marketing: Get 7 to 8.4% Commission Per Sale Using this Platform

If you are planning to sell products but you don't have investment to start your business, you can actually sell a product without spending money. The only investment that you will spend is your time and effort. This is possible by affiliate marketing.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

According to Oxford Languages, it is a marketing arrangement by which an online retailer pays commission to an external website for traffic or sales generated from its referrals.

Basically, affiliate marketing is a way of advertising products and the advertisers will receive a commission for the advertisement. A lot of people are doing this to have a passive stream of income and maximize their earnings.

Usually, there are different platforms that you can use as a medium to apply for affiliate marketing and Involve Asia is one of them.

What is Involve Asia?

Based on their website, Involve Asia is a performance-based tech marketing company that has successfully helped both brands & partners to scale their online earnings.

It is a platform that you can use to advertise a product from one company and earn a commission from it. The top affiliate programs on their site are:

In my case, I applied as a marketer in Shopee and Lazada because it is the most used online platform when it comes to buying and selling products all over the Philippines.

What are the requirements to start affiliate marketing in Involve Asia?

Like other platforms, it also has requirements to start advertising and setting up your account which is literally easy for everyone to finish.

To be specific, you only need to provide a platform where you will promote and advertise the product.

Personally, I used a Facebook page which I created a long time ago when I discovered Involve Asia. In my experience, I applied for affiliate marketing right after creating a page. So, I think the number of audience you have is not a requirement, but, you can post the links of the product that you want to advertise just to prove that your page is active.

My Facebook page has been approved since October 19, 2021. Unfortunately, I did not pursue this because I lacked resources like having poor internet connection and slow device.

How to start?

Firstly, you need to create an Involve account. You need to provide your name, email address, password, property URL, property type, property category, and country traffic.

In property type, you just need to put the type of your property such as Ad Network, Content, Influencer etc. I used the Ad Network type because I want to advertise different publishers and properties. The property category is more likely the products that you want to sell. Is it for beauty, fashion, electronics etc.

Lastly is the country traffic, basically, it is the country where your audience are from. Do you have a buyer from the United Kingdom? Then you can put it there.

After submitting your application, you need to wait for a few days until you receive the result of your application if it is approved or rejected. Once approved, you need to apply to the platform that you will advertise.

For example in the photo, you will see the green button apply. You need to apply for it, provide the link of your property and wait for the approval. Once done, you can promote any time and earn once someone bought the product that you post.

You can also see the possible commission that you will receive in the campaign ad. From the photo above, you can earn from 0.7 up to 6% commission for being a marketer.

How does it work?

It works by using your property as a tool to advertise the product. For example, I posted a product on my page about a computer mouse and someone clicked the link and bought the product. I will easily earn commission from their purchase depending on the offered rates per campaign. As of now, Shopee and Lazada offer 7-8.4% commission per sale.

How to withdraw?

You need to have a PayPal account or Wire transfer for withdrawal. The currency that you will earn is based or written on Malaysian Currency which is MYR. They also have a minimum amount of withdrawal which is 80 MYR which is more or less 19 USD.

Now, is this platform legit? To be honest, I haven't tried to withdraw my earnings because I haven't reached the minimum yet. Why? As I said, I did not pursue this because of lack of resources so I rarely post on my page.

However, I can say that this is real and legit because there are huge channels in the Philippines that recommend this platform to have an extra income. They also posted their proof of withdrawals for legitimacy of the platform.

Conclusion

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to have an income because you only need to embed and add the product on your platform then earn when someone bought it. In fact, you can treat it as passive income because you can earn without doing anything if someone bought the product that you posted even a long time ago. 

The downside is, affiliate marketing needs much effort to promote the product if you are just starting and you need to be patient before someone buys the product.
