Who will save the bride She sat staring into space, laughing to herself, at first I was a bit surprised, could she be reading my thoughts I wondered? I was cooking up a perfect lie to tell in my mind before taking aback by her hysterical laugh, never thought such a beauty could be insane but then she is. She faces the consequences of her infidelity they said. I couldn't place a meaning to that word until I was told her story, she was the youngest wife of Azata king, the ancient kingdom known for all sort of sorcery. She came from the clan of Dufite where every maiden must marry as a virgin, this means she got married to the king a virgin. A young teen she was, forced into marrying an old man of '80s who could barely lift himself to walk not to talk of performing marital duties. How often do you cry? Do you know tears can be helpful? Crying doesn't make you weak, it makes you a normal human. You cry when you are emotional, it could be due to pain, happiness or any other reason.  Research has found that shedding emotional tears releases oxytocin and endorphins. These chemicals make people feel good and may also ease both physical and emotional distress.  Crying helps relieve anxiety and helps keep the eyes moist. The thing called marriage. Marriage is a union between a man and a woman, although some have other notion of the concept, this is my own belief. An institution where two imperfect beings agree to stay and work together for the rest of their lives. This is the only institution you get a certificate before starting because there won't be any graduation. The essence of this union is for companionship, to help each other and procreation is a blessing to this union. This union is beyond a day celebration (wedding) or a night of intimacy. Most people think after marriage everything will become smooth and creamy, you and your partner you enjoy your lives always without interference, we forgot the pressure that may come from families and inlaws, after your wedding comes the real work. You can't enjoy always but you enjoy most times if you understand each other. In this marriage, you will understand that your partner is actually a different being with likes dislikes and some characters that may not conform to your ideology but you have to endure and tolerate for it to work. The one-time sexy slim babe you once dated can turn to the fat haggard woman in space of years or months. That six-pack guy you once admired his aps can turn into one pot belle man, although it's not always like this, it happens sometimes and you have to accept it. Trust. Your ability to rely on another that is trust. It is too delicate that once broken it's really hard to regain. Trust is that force that you feel inside of you to believe in someone or something wholeheartedly. Trust is just like a string once broken it can never be the same, the length reduces as you try to tie it back. Never make people lose truth in you, once you are untrustworthy you have lost your value as a person. Nothing you or do is regarded anymore. One can not just lose truth in you, certain things lead to that they include: **Lies:** if you wish to gain trust, always be truthful, let your words be your bound. One lie told can destroy a long term trust built. Lies told to one can circulate to many thereby making you a lier in the face of many. **Unseriousness and carelessness**: there is time for everything, never use the time for business for leisure, no one will take you seriously if you do and no one trusts unserious person especially in business. Your level of commitment to your duty draws people to you and gives them the confidence to trust you with their valuable be it money or contract. **Low self-esteem**: when your confidence in yourself or your abilities people lose confidence in you as well. Before you gain the trust of someone you never had any business with, you must show some level of courage and dignity. Low self-esteem shows you don't trust yourself and no one can trust you when you don't trust yourself. **Lack of understanding**: a person with a low level of understanding never work well with others, can you trust who you are not in good terms with? The answer is no. Learn to understand people the more, this will give you an edge over others. Don't be a snub or a nag, this will drastically scare people away from you. **Low mentality and ego:**how do you see others opinion? Do you see yourself as always right and others wrong? Admit your mistakes and when you don't know something admit you don't know it. It has always been war each week, so many NO's and plenty of YES's echoing in the room due to the force at which they shout, it's not just a meeting but somewhat debates between learned colleague, no one can ever be wrong, as always they are all right. But today something remarkable happened and the drum changed from war song to the melodious babies tone. Libel combat has just begun as their normal routine when she suddenly felt a sharp pain at the lower abdomen, she couldn't stand right nor sit properly, her whole body seems on fire, she cried, shouted, laid abuses on everyone due to the pain she felt, my water has broken she managed to say, this means he is coming. Although not the D day (delivery date) given by the doctor still the baby is due and ready to join the world, maybe the action was what disturbed him, he decided to come out in order not to miss the show. All hands were put on deck to ensure she had a safe delivery and yes she did, after being taken to the nearby hospital. The fights, all the squabble now turn to congratulations on your safe delivery. Life of newbie in read.cash. Most times being a newbie in a platform makes one feel his or her efforts is not appreciated, you sometimes feel unwelcomed but you shouldn't be, everything takes time. Now who is a newbie, it is one who recently joined the platform, you have spent a day, two or week in the platform. Before we joined the platform, our upline must have told us the benefits of the platform, how we can make some money in the platform, with this in mind many joined the platform hoping to hit it big in our first day, they want to get thousands of up vote, millions of subscribers even before making a first post, but this is a wrong notion, *I* wonder how people planned achieving that notion.  although there's nothing wrong in dreaming high, dream high and work hard too to balance the equation. *CHALLENGES OF NEWBIES* We are faced with many challenges but the commonest challenge every newbie encounter is up voting, subscribers and sponsors. Many times we try our best to write a post, we stay up night to construct what we believe to be the best article but after posting, we get like 1 up votes and no comments, and no sponsor, we began to think maybe we are not good writers. In as much as we believed our article to be good we can't force people to up vote, it's their right and choice. The same thing with getting sponsorships so don't feel bad when you don't get those . It was exactly 12.10 noonday on Friday 17 June 2020, after the nine months of anticipation, nine months of night watch and labour pain, a wonderful gift was given to a good man with a good heart. The gift came with so much joy, a gift that only the Almighty can give, so adorable and lovely. Welcomed with a kiss from both parents because she really meant a lot. Yea SHE. She is a bundle of satisfaction. Her future already made bright by the Almighty, she is indeed a blessed child, but I have to give her a gift, one that smells so nice and so effective to the skin so her smooth and soft skin will remain that way. Ngene Stream in Nigeria. Have you ever visited Nigeria? Do you know anything about the customs and traditions of some part of Nigeria. Well I am a Nigerian, I am here to tell you little about Nigerian culture, South-Eastern part of the country to be precise. Culture they say is the people's way of life, this includes their beliefs and traditions. A certain Community from the Ezeagu Local Government of Enugu State has a belief about one particular stream. This is Ngene stream from Umana Ndiagu community, in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, South Eastern Part of Nigeria  The stream is well known for its potency and benevolent. History has it that it supplied sea animals to the community during the Nigerian civil war of July 1967 to January 1970 and therapeutic too. It also protected the villagers against enemies, the stream gets bigger and deeper at the sight of enemies which made it hard for enemies to cross. People worshipped the stream then, they believe it has unique powers and should be adored.Well, everything here is based on Oral History from the great Ozor Okongwu of the said village, not documented so not proven. Till date people still value the Ngene stream, students from other states still visit the mighty Ngene Stream. Although the stream is not too deep or wide but it is believed to be a blessing from the gods, according to my informant. My papa was a good contractor, he employed the services of his great companion who helped him bring forth his already planned edifices into existence, after the work he never rested took up responsibility for all his mansions to make sure they are up to standard furnished his mansions, decorated them both interior and exterior with the help of his better half, unfortunately, he has gone exile but he is happy knowing his mansions are the envy of all. He was a great worker who made good use of the mighty tool gifted to him by Almighty, he never did an illegal work, rather he chose his best partner whom he worked with and effort were made manifest, he is always there for all his works and of course for his partner, he made sure his works are well cared for, given all attention and he never let any of his works down even though they are many. I am proud to work of my father, the great worker. Who would have taught me how to stand on my feet and walk, if not my great teacher. Even when my super Mummy was scared I may slip and fall, my hero will always say* she is got legs, let her learn to use them, for the time shall come when she would have to walk on her own* now I can walk on my own, I can walk out of troubles, walk into success cause my idol taught me how to trace my steps.  A father is never a sperm donor rather he is an embodiment of responsible. My mother my legend. What more can a child ask for if not the love of a mother? I wake up crying at night, asking for food without much ado, I am presented with the most delicious meal made with love presented to me by my superwoman, my legend. My mother. Nothing can compare the love of a mother, she underwent the nine months of the super vigil, nine months of constant sickness but she never gave up, she protected me inside her and patiently waited till the day I came out.  On the D day, she went into serious pain, she cried under pain before she could bring me forth but immediately she set her eyes on me, those pain went away, the tears she once shared now turned in to laughter even when she knew I will change everything for her. SHE GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR ME  I changed her priority but she never complained, I changed her nice slim figure but she is even happy with it, I gave her a special smell that accompanies lactating she welcomed it, I took sleep away from her and made her a night watch, with joy she accepted.  Most times I gave e her trouble, always making her worry but she is always happy to accept those worries. Who is to be blamed? WHO IS TO BE BLAMED  I want to tell us a story about a couple and the effect of bearing grudges in marriage. No matter what, never let The misunderstanding between you and your spouse exceed the night. Again never let pride and ego take lead in your family, learn to forgive and solve issues amicably so you won't lose something big over an argument or misunderstanding . This is about a couple, the couple were having a misunderstanding and for that decided not to talk to each other. The man had an interview to attend in the morning and he was a deep sleeper so he needed someone to wake him up on time. Because he was having issues with the wife, he couldn't talk to her so he wrote on a cardboard paper, *wake me up by 6 am, I have an interview* He dropped it in front of his wife without saying a word, when it was 6 am the wife went to the same cardboard and wrote *wake up it's time for your interview.* After some hours the man woke up, it's already 10 am, he had missed the interview, he was so furious at the wife, telling the wife she was wicked why didn't she wake him  The wife in her defence was telling him she did wake him but he didn't wake, she asked him to check the cardboard paper.  Now my friends let's settle this, between the couple, who is at fault. He has received several names from his mother and teacher that he accepted to be what they call him, if only they knew if only they will listen to him and not taunt him. He had given up to studies and accepted his new fate, now he is a dummy who only steer but never grab. " Mummy I don't like my new school anymore they laugh at me, taunt me each time I make mistake and my teacher is not helping matters she doesn't listen to hear my complain, instead she would call me out and ask the class to mock me" Andrew complained Why won't they mock you, are you not a goat, good for nothing the mother retorted. Since we relocated you stopped taking your studies seriously, you hardly get answers correctly, your teacher complained you only sit and steer, steering at others learning But mummy I am not dull, and you know it. I use to be among the tops in my former school and I hardly fail questions but som...... Andrew was still talking So you think you are now intelligent abi! His mother cut in, you think you are the best that's why you stopped learning, you stopped taking your studies seriously the No mummy, I still want to learn, I love to study. I want to be a doctor but I need you...... You need your head his mother answered, she wouldn't let him finish. You better go inside and play, that is the only thing you are good at you to play and waste away. Never do well Andrew stood up and sluggishly went inside with tears in his eyes, he had wanted to narrate his ordeal in school but his mother and teacher never gave him a listening ear. Flashback to what happened. Andrew was a smart kid, very intelligent and cool in his former school, but since they relocated everything changed. He was bullied by a psychopath school mate Philip, the day Andrew broke the record in his school was the day his predicament started. He answered question meant for grade 4 class even though he was in grade 2 and that was his only offence. Philip the CEO's son was in grade 4, he was meant to answer a question but he couldn't and no one from his class could answer the question. Andrew while walking through the corridor overheard the question and out of excitement he answered the question and he was correct. This angered the whole grade 4 and Andrew's problem began After school, Philip and his gang ambushed Andrew and threatened to kill him and his mother if he ever answers questions in school again, they warned him never to get any question correct in the exam, they beat him till he was unconscious. After some minutes Andrew regained consciousness and went home. Andrew what happened to you, why are you bleeding his mother inquired before attending to his wound. I was attacked by Philip and his gang after school... Which Philip The CEO'S son? His mother asked Yes, mum, he answered. What do you mean Philip did this to you, that means you must have upset him so badly, tomorrow we are going to apologize to him. But mummy at least listens to me and know what happened. Andrew pleaded I don't want to know, said the mother. Tomorrow before you go to school we will apologize to him, we would have gone today but it's late already so tomorrow. You know his father is the only person helping us. He is the reason we still have a roof over our heads and food on our table. We can't afford to make Philip angry because he may report to his father and that may push him to stop helping us. Please, my son, you have to endure everything Philip did to you, try to do everything he asked you, his mother continued. Try not to get him angry again, please Yes, mum. That was all Andrew could say. And to be on Philip's good side he had to become a dummy, a goat and good for nothing. But how long.......... Most embarrassing moment of my life. The most embarrassing moment of my life. Should I really tell you this story? I think I should so that others can learn from it. It happened some years back, not too long, in my first year in school. I was staying off-campus with a roommate, the house was just 4 rooms so we the tenants associate well. One day one of my neighbours celebrated his birthday, before the birthday he had told us that he will bake a special cake for us his neighbours, we were so excited about that as he kept to his promise. At the party, people were dancing and making merry, me and my roommate we were in our room doing our own dancing. In the middle of the dance the celebrant came to our room to call us out, he said his friends were complaining that we didn't come out, that maybe we are not in good terms, so to prove them wrong he decided to call us out, we came out, he gave us the cake which he promised us, we sliced the cake and because it was late already, and I don't eat late at night, I took just a bit from the sliced cake and that's it. After some minutes of taking the bite, I lost control of myself, started dancing vigorously like some mad lady, the dance was getting out of hand, I was even laughing out like someone who has lost it, even when they stopped the music I was still dancing and talking out loud. That was when my roommate realized something was wrong somewhere, she asked the celebrant what he used in baking the cake, he confirmed he added marijuana to the cake. Mind you I had never tasted alcohol before and now it's marijuana I am starting with, you can imagine how heavy it was for my poor system. Now they have known the reason for my intoxication, they started doing everything possible to dilute the effects of the marijuana, they gave me milk and other things. Thank God I managed to sleep and when I woke up, I was already at our school health centre, I was so weak when I woke up and I saw them looking at me like someone that came back from the land of the dead. I asked what happened and they narrated my whole ordeal, they even showed me the video they made of me when I was misbehaving, I was so embarrassed. There are things humans do to enhance their outer beauty like dressing, hair styling, pedicure and manicure, most women wear makeup to enhance their beauty. **My beauty routine** I wear light make up most times because I like simplicity and heavy makeup attracts wrinkles. My beauty kit includes powder, foundations, lip gross and other beauty kits. Face massage is part of my beauty routine, it helps the circulation of blood on face thereby reducing the rate at which wrinkles appear on the face and makes one look younger. Using face cleanser, cleaning the face on daily bases helps clear spots and keep the face away from bacterial. Using of cucumbers: placing cucumbers on the eyes helps clear dark circles around the eyes and also makes the eyes look brighter. Always see a reason to do more, a man that appreciates gets the best of people. **Apology** An apology is a regretful acknowledgement of an offence or failure. How well do you accept your mistakes, how often do you use the word "I am sorry"? Remember apologies doesn't mean anything if you keep repeating the same offence when you apologize to try to show how sorry you are by not committing that same mistake. Apologizing doesn't always mean you are wrong and the other person is right, it means you value your relationship more than ego. A freewrite, prompt word: The book. For long I stare at a page, ran through it, flip to the next. I am not sure what I am looking for but I know I gain a lot from scanning through it. At every glance I take, I learn from the masters, glancing through self-made schemes done by the masters who have gone far in penning down and people who have already been taught by situations, I learn how to tackle life through their works. I gain experience by going through the mighty tools made by the famous and experienced people, perspectives I learnt also from the master's mighty tool helps me to move ahead in life. My vocabulary and language expand, as I glance through, most times I face difficulty in penning down using my lingua -franca but through the might tool I can learn a new phrase, statements and grammar, and safe some cash too because the bill I need to foot to gain the knowledge, I spend it on purchasing the mighty tool which is much cheaper. My desire to achieve a greater goal is often elevated after each encounter with the mighty tool, now I feel less stressed, my positive thinking is encouraged, all thanks to the mighty tool. The pen is stronger than sword they say, but the pain has no strength without the mighty tool, they both work hand in hand. My mighty tool is the Book. An hour with the book each day stimulates the mind, no wonder exploration says that staying mentally stimulated can prevent dementia, I bet they know the advantages of studying. Books help exercise the brain, gives a new way to live and makes one smarter, by books I mean studying books. As a learner, the book is always my companion, I have it in different titles, authors and subject. The book is the mighty tool which helps increase one's creativity, imagination and cognition. The book is light but heavier with its content, a reader is a leader they say, which means books provide guidelines on good leadership.
