Crochet Achievement: Bouquet of Tulips
Hi, there!
I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
I waited for the weekend to come because I was so tired for this week. For this day, I woke up early to finish packing an order for my business and to check my activity, scanned it, and passed it on Google Classroom.
This time, I an excited to share with you my achievement in my journey of crocheting. At the moment, crocheting is now one of my top hobbies. My mom is a crocheter too and she is pretty good at it.
I was born a hoarder so it is actually dangerous when I am being impulsive because I can’t stop myself from buying yarns. But don’t get me wrong, I always know my limits. So, I have yarns with different colors and I didn’t know what to do with them. I looked for inspirations on the internet and decided to start making flowers!
Tulips are my favorite flowers so I began making one with color white. I sent some pictures to my friends and they said it’s nice.
Thank you for the support besties!
And then unexpectedly, one of them told me he’ll order tulips for her girlfriend. I didn’t take that seriously because at that time, my tulips is still far from being finished and I didn’t know yet how to finish it—how to put the leaves, how to settle the stem, etc. But, he insisted so I accepted it and took it as a challenge.
He is on readcash too! Thank you @Lowa
He trusted me on making it. I decided on the colors; he only requested that there will be three blue tulips.
I added this colors to complement the blue tulips. I made three with pale old rose, two powder blue tulips, and two white tulips. I made other colors as well but those three looked better together with the blue tulips.
They all looked so pretty and I a proud of it!
It is overly satisfying to have finished it all. It is instagrammable so I took pictures of course. I even tried to make a bouquet out of it. Here they are:
It is my first time setting a bouquet so I am already proud of this one though I’ve bee thinking, I think another dream unlocked and I suddenly wanted to be a florist. It’s good for the heart and soul to arrange flowers.
The left one has a lavender which I made a long time ago. It looks great, I didn’t realized it back then so now it is on my to-do list to make more and try other colors or shades as well.
Here’s the best picture that I took! I am still practicing on taking flat lays but I’m satisfied with this one. It got straight to my instagram account!
I’m still working into other crochet flowers such as sunflowers and daisies. I love flowers; it just makes my heart flutter with joy.

This achievement unlocked wouldn’t have been possible if not for my friend who pushed through with his order. Sometimes we think that we can’t do it that’s why it’s important to be surrounded by people who believe in you and your capabilities. It maybe your family, friends, or even the strangers.
My hobbies save my life.
It gives me a peace of mind and a calmer aura. My anxiety is just around the corner so I need to be in control of myself always, luckily, crocheting helps me with that.
Thank you for reading this article. I hope you like it because I’m still planning to share more of my crochet projects.
I hope I can inspire you to start crocheting too!
