somebody needs a coffee Rain came pouring down when i was drowning, that’s when i could finally breathe - *taylor* *swift* I thought I’m done having anxiety every time it rains, now I am once again wrong. I’m here again to drop some bombs before it explode in my brain. Mixed feelings, as always. There’s fear that always steals the stage. There are worries that makes it harder for me to sleep. On the other side of the coin, there’s joy that fuels me to do more and do good. There’s this endless void inside of me that makes me think deeper about how life works. It’s sad sometimes how I need to work in order to get the things I need and want while others can get it right through there without even doing anything. I guess that’s just the bad side of me speaking. 17:56 Saturday August 6,2022 I ran errands today. There are so many changes in my life right now that I decided to swim with the waves. 20:39 Tuesday August 9,2022 I shed a tear. It’s heavy to think that I got so many things on my table already and now I have to deal with another insecurity. I can barely bring myself upfront. It’s tiring, you know, that I always have to be the bigger person. I wish I could snuck myself in and cry it all. As usual, I can’t talk to other people about it. This is bad. I know people have their own challenges at the moment and I’d hate to add up. Lately, I’ve dealt with trails of betrayal. Too disappointed but not surprised. People do that. I might as well feel okay already being useful to them. I come in handy. When you get used to the same pain, you become bigger and the pain will look small. So, it’s okay if people will only invite me after they realize there’s still an empty chair or most of the time, they don’t remember me at all. *No one can be an island but one can build a world that has no deep seas where you can’t drown with thoughts and questions on why you’re alone.* I have continuously been checking up on my tita in Finland. I’m so excited for her to experience the autumn season. It’s my favorite season even though I haven’t been in its realm. I told her to keep me maple leaves. I think it’s a symbol for warmth and hope. The leaves may fall but growth will come soon, when all is right. I’m glad I have this one friend who doesn’t get tired of hearing my corny jokes and little secrets. Oh, what a world. So thankful too for Sheldon and friends and the Gilmores. You keep me sane.

auroras, eureka, and the unknown it’s the little things that always matter. it’s the little things that start it all. when you refuse to see it, you get lost in life. — I can’t organize my thoughts. An indication, maybe, to take things slowly at this time. I’m not feeling well at all — physically and emotionally. I looked forward for this small vacation to come. My academic world was exhausting and I really wanted to end my last semester. I entered my midyear term and I wasn’t so glad to face a bunch of activities for our minor subjects. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, an earthquake happened. It’s followed by a series of aftershocks, I got myself injured, I am having colds and asthma, and still life goes on as if nothing happened. But don’t get me wrong, that’s just the dark part of it. I build my own world and I paint it with colors I like. I think I am okay, it’s just me being patient with myself until I can recollect my energy. —— I’m down for another shameless article, I guess? I am confused about something. I don’t know how to deal with it. I’m getting crazy about it. I wish I’ll heal fast so at least some things will be easier for me. *7:41* I just finished packing Shopee orders. My tiny business still runs despite it all. It never stops to keep me sane. I am really grateful this happened to me, it’s really not about the financial endeavors anymore but my mental health that it suffices. I am really that person who would tell everybody else to keep being compassionate on the things you enjoy. I think it’s time to have breakfast now so I could take my meds. I really don’t eat breakfast (because brunch is life) but the situation pushes me to do so. *20:08* I’m so full. I ate chicken nuggets, my favorite! It’s one of the foods I wouldn’t share to others (except when the exception comes, chz). My mom’s busy making a tote bag and I’ve been thinking of a way on how to persuade her to give it to me once it’s done. I’m busy planning the following days of my life. I had a long sleep a while back and I’m so tempted to go to bed once again, watch my current favorite sitcom, and dwell into my dreams. I love the The Bigbang Theory and I must say, for the things I really love, I get possessive so I don’t want to recommend it as much as possible haha. Kidding aside, it’s a great series — a bringer of bountiful serotonin. Before I found it, I was thinking of rewatching Friends because it’s definitely one of my comfort series but now I got a new one. *21:14* I’m currently editing our requirement for Arts. I’m forcing myself to hard even though I know I badly need to lay down because my knee is hurting, probably because it’s cold and it’s raining outside. Right now is an example of those instances in which I wish I have some sort of magic to just get things done. Again, it’s really painful. Anyways, I might as well share a picture from today. This is our mulberry. It has lots of health benefits. But I don’t eat it because I hate berries. They look cute but the taste is inexplicable. Anyways, I still have to do this activity. Might say bye-bye right here right now! Remember, do well and love well, always. And did you know today is August 2? Insert my corny romantic line here. Walang mapagsasabihan. Baka sakali, sa susunod na taon. Joke lang. *Ciao~*

@KweenAzyKeith

a little rain, a pour of hope July 29, 2020 Sitting here, beside my box of yarns. I crocheted something funny. My coffee has ran out. I can’t relax my right leg and it’s hurting. Rain is pouring outside. I would definitely be grateful for the rain but I thought of the people *15:19* I stopped reading, I started wondering what to do next. Going to the cr is a big challenge for me. I have so many plans but I can’t reach all the things I need. But anyways, I started to make my first ever baby tulip. It’s color peach and I hope I can reach my expectations. *15:22* Another aftershock. My heart is pumping but I tried to stay calm so that my sister won’t notice. She’s too young to be traumatized like this. God, please put an end to this series of aftershocks. *21:41* Another one. It was long. I’m so tired of this feeling. July 30, 2022 *23:25* I’m quite successful of being productive today. I’ve accomplished some. Disappointment should’ve been one of my poisons for this day but I choose not to dwell on other ounces of negativity. I just realized something. I don’t know how to relax my right leg. I hope I’m not doing anything that worsens my situation. I don’t know if I’m getting better but I could already laugh at what happened. Yep, things happen, and I think I’ve already accepted that there are always instances that are harder for me than everybody else. We’re ending this month soon and I am really hoping for a better August. July has been a train of mishaps. It’s quite hard to move on — I just hope this isn’t another loophole that I have to get stuck in. Today’s payday sale in Shopee and I gladly made three orders. They said, pay yourself first and so I did. Deep in my heart, I am happy with how I’m dealing everything all at once. I’m too far better than who I was a year ago. I’m proud that I could recognize my own progress. Sometimes, I wonder because if these things happened last year, I would’ve blamed myself every second. I always tell myself this important words: If you can change the situation, change your perspective. It helped me survive. It taught me how to live. It’s unfair that we’ve got too many questions unanswered and unexplained and the more we seek, the more we get confused. But we’ve got to carry on with life’s unending trail of mysteries. I slept a while back so I’m still full of energy at the moment. I’m just gonna edit some photos, look for a new book to read, publish, and maybe finish the first season of Dark. I ate egg cheese sandwich for my midnight snack. It’s good, my mom made it. I actually want more but I can’t get up already. It has been a great day, nonetheless.

@KweenAzyKeith

what are we supposed to do now? Hi, I find the world too dark, the defeaning silence roars and it makes my heart beat faster every minute. Yesterday was supposed to be a normal day. Started the day early, energized, a little bit lazy but determined to be more productive than the past days. Class schedule says we have our midterm exam for our midyear classes in out of my subjects. I didn’t actually prepare for it, in fact, while waiting for the exam link, I was cleaning. My plan was to rearrange the tables in my room, in which I was hoping would bring some change in my life but little did I know, in just a minute, chaos jumped into place. I immediately felt the earthquake and I quickly ran out of the house while calling my mom, I found her outside, preparing the laundry. I thought my little sister was playing outside but when I looked back inside, she’s in there. I heard her voice, frightened and keeps on saying ‘why are we shaking?.’ The moment I stepped in our living room, the earthquake thrived. Our house is tiny, but everything happened in just a snap. The aquarium fell down, same as the vases, bottles, frames, and the mirror. I even heard our house moving. I just wanted to get to her. She’s standing right there and not moving at all. I was buried in fear. The thought of losing another sister enveloped me. When were inside, I thought we couldn’t get out anymore. My sister was crying loudly, my mom’s panicking, hysterical. When we got out, I could barely catch my breath. I was hoping to wake up. I was hoping that it was all a dream. Adrenaline was in my system because I couldn’t feel any pain but when I looked at my body, my right leg is covered with blood. But that wasn’t my first concern. I looked for our phones and called my papa hoping he’s okay. He came home immediately and we went to the hospital. The handkerchief that I used in putting pressure is no longer identifiable, it was all red. My head became light, then I couldn’t see anything. They gave me oxygen, injected me, gave me stitches. It was my first time. I wish I was braver to look at how they do sutures in real life because I am big fan of the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy but I just covered my eyes with my mom’s jacket that I was able to grab before leaving the house. I guess the anesthesia didn’t kick in at all because I felt everything. They just kept saying it’s the last one but it wasn’t. I was supposed to stay for a little while but I told my papa and tito who was on duty at the hospital that if possible, I want to go home. All patients are outside, the sirens of ambulance calling for emergency, the people rushing here and there — it all made me more and more anxious. I hardly went inside our house because I kept picturing what happened. Aftershocks are strong. I know everyone was traumatized. Magnitude 7 earthquake isn’t a joke. Browsing on social media to read news is saddening. The havoc is real. I was only watching it in movies and series before but now it happened right in front of me. Today is 28th, my little sister is sleeping. She looks well but she’s traumatized too. It’s getting colder and my wound’s hurting a little more. I can’t move too much, I got bruises on my body as well. It’s still hard to get up and walk. Everything around me is going back to normal. I’m having so many thoughts. I’m actually thinking of grabbing my anxiety meds to help me calm my mind but I chose to write here instead. I reached out to my closest friends but I find it selfish of me to add up my story. I know everyone wasn’t able to sleep last night. We’re all restless, frightened. It’s still hard to accept. Many people are suffering. The nature’s wrath is real. Can it be controlled? Can we do something about it? Are there worse things that will happen? I wish I had Five’s powers from The Umbrella Academy so I could travel through time and interfere with the timeline in order to make a change. So, what are we supposed to do now? credits to the local who originally took the photo. Stay safe always!

New Songs on my Playlist I have different playlist for my different moods. Back when I was suffering too hard from depression, I stopped listening to any song because it triggers me, but now, I’m glad I can listen to songs and sing my heart out once again. There are songs that just really cut down in my being and would become my favorite songs until forever. Here are some of the songs I recently added in my playlists. Line Without a Hook I’ve been listening to this song last year but I didn’t like it so much back then but now, there are many slowed and reverb versions and I think I’ve fallen in love with it. It’s calming and it brings me so much peace. This type of song is the perfect one for slow days and solemn mind. Happier Than Ever This song is by Billie Eilish. I’m proud of her because her songs are getting better and better. I like her songs – especially how she writes them. Happier than ever is a song that slices my heart because it’s overwhelming on how it talks about pain in real life but at the same time, it is so satisfying because it’s hard to believe how she stitched from a slow music to the slow rock part. I am looking forward for her future albums and I’m pleased to see her becoming more confident performing on stage. Come Back…Be Here This song is by the legend herself, Taylor Swift. She has many albums and every time around; I find another favorite after another. This also came from my favorite album of hers which is Red which she recently re-recorded. This song is nostalgic and I actually just want to ride a bus on a rainy day while listening to this. Like the other songs I’ve mentioned, it’s quite painful but its calming at the same time. Somewhere Only We Know Like the song Line Without a Hook, I also listen to this song in its slowed version. It is so therapeutic and it has been my escape from the harsh reality lately. Been listening to this song before but maybe the lyrics just meant differently to me now. People come and go but the memories remain and sometimes it is just hard how or where to move to. It is hard to begin again when you’re at the end. I Love You So This song consoles me and I could sing my heart out in the middle of the night while listening to it. This is a sad song but a part of me gets happy with this because I think I’m making a step forward; I really hope so. -- There you go! I know you might not know some of this things. Take note, I am a very emotional person so don’t judge. This is for my playlist when I re-think about my past decisions in my life. Thank you for your time and remember to live your life to the fullest!

The Uncertainty of Life In this life, we’re meant to toss and turn every coin. Every road doesn’t have a clear destination. The bridges sometimes are connecting the wrong places. The wind doesn’t always have the right direction. In a world where everything is uncertain, how are we supposed to fight? Hello, everyone! I am back again with some words out of nowhere. I am jumping into different ideas about the future but all I can foresee are things that don’t have a hundred percent possibility to happen. Is this scary? Yes. But is this something new? Definitely not. We’ve been dealing with life’s uncertainties ever since we were born on earth. So, bother to look back for one second and reflect. There had been a million of times already that we were so anxious and worried about something but open your eyes and look at where you are right now. You are here standing tall despite the fears that once controlled you and kept you away from the things you wanted. If something is pushing you away from a goal just because the situation won’t go your way, it’s only a matter of bravery and self-trust. Bravery You have to understand that brave people experience failures. They take a small step sometimes then fall down on a cliff. Being brave doesn’t mean you know to yourself that you can succeed and reach the top. Being brave is believing and holding onto the unknown. Bravery comes from the heart. Self-trust Self-trust isn’t built by receiving validation from other people. This is a matter of relationship between you and your inner self. The connection will build trust and confidence. How to overcome the uncertainty of life? I’m far from being a life coach because my life alone isn’t a finished puzzled but all I know is that life’s uncertainty will never go away—however, you can be bigger than it. Life won’t always give you the answers, in fact, the more you search for answers, you’ll only get more questions. That part of life is something you have to understand even though it is unfair because how can you possibly move one from one thing without exactly knowing every details and reasons? *But, it takes courage to put something behind and be bigger than your old self because that is how this works.* We can’t let the hole consume us until we’re deep down on nothingness. We do the action, we find ways, we create solutions. What if we don’t have a choice left? Sometimes, we fool ourselves by believing that there are no choices left when in fact, there are many, we only can’t accept the fact that things didn’t go our way and we are not ready to take another step because we often think it’s taking a move backwards, but it’s NOT. *We have to remind ourselves that though this world is full of uncertainties, on the other side of the coin, it’s also full of possibilities and that is something we can hold on to.* So, if you’re reading this and you’re unsure about so many things about your life, know that future is something you only look forward to, not something you have to live with today. Because today is about the present. You can worry about tomorrow but you can’t let tomorrow ruin your today. Let us work on the things where we can make a difference, shall we? — Thank you and may you have a blessed holy week. `all images are from pixabay` `words by me :)`

21 Things I Can’t Live Without: Part 4 Hey there, angels! Here’s another one for the 21 Things About Me Series. This series will stop on my birthday, soon! Just a back story, this idea came up because last night, I was once again looking back into the past relationship of GaWong (if you know them then we’re friends haha). I re-watched their vlog last night particularly the The 15 Things We Can’t Live Without, so today, it’s my turn but it’ll be 21! Let’s begin! 1. Phone. Our mobile phones or gadgets are so important nowadays especially since we have online classes. I always hold my phone wherever I go because I’m afraid that I might miss an update or notification. Also, since I have a small online shop, it’s also a must to check on it and update my customers. 2. Money I was supposed to write wallet but I remember, I don’t have a decent wallet. The last time I bought one was back in Senior High days. Is this a sign? Haha. I put my money just inside my bag or in the back of phone. Plus, I use e-wallets for other transactions. 3. Pen I always need a pen or a pencil. Observant people would have noticed that when I hold a pen, I feel just a little bit more confident so I actually always hold one during reporting activities and such. 4. Pillow I can’t sleep without hugging a pillow. If I only have one pillow, I would hug it rather than putting it on my head. Pillows are my clouds. I have a favorite pillow at home which is big and comfy. 5. Charger Of course, my phone will die without my charger. My charger is just sitting beside me anytime, including my extension cord. 6. Ponytail I can live without a comb but not without a ponytail. I like my hair just falling down but when I have to think, I need to tie it up. 7. Earphones First reason is to get away from the world when I listen to music of when I watch and second reason is to ignore people because I wear it sometimes without actually listening on my phone. 8. Notebook I need a notebook so I could jot down my thoughts. Not necessarily a journal because I can’t keep up with that thing. If my head is messy, my writings will get messy too. 9. Novels If only I have a lighter schedule, I would be reading all the time. This is my habit that I don’t often do anymore because I’m too busy. 10. Lotion I don’t know how to explain why. I don’t always use lotion though because I’m lazy. 11. Coffee Even though I opted to stop, I still can’t imagine my life without it. If desperate time calls, I’ll make sure that coffee is on my hand. 12. Yarns I have lots of WIPs but that won’t stop me. I need yarns—lots of it. I’m doubting whether my hobby is crocheting or collecting yarns. 13. Plant Having a plant is a necessity for me. It is great to have something near you who’s growing as you do. 14. Pasta Well, I love pasta. I could eat pasta for the rest of my life. So, please take me to Italy soon. Haha. 15. Dogs It’s a living thing so yes let me include dogs. My life without them would be gloomy. They are my best friends! 16. Tote bags I don’t how I could possibly run errands without a tote bag. I think I need to buy new ones anyway because my tote bags are just gifts from my titas and they’re getting old. 17. Socks I don’t always wear socks but there are random times that I seek for comfort so I wear them. I have lots of socks anyway that I bought from Shopee for a cheap price. 18. IDs I don’t have valid IDs yet aside from my student ID. This is the call up for me to start acting more like an adult. Haha. But yeah, this is needed in processing important transactions. 19. Laptop If this is a survival game, I could live without this but with the present world, this is an essential. Can be useful in many ways and also provides convenience. 20. Clothes This is me running out of idea so yes, of course, I can’t live without clothes. Haha. 21. Home We all need place that feels like home. I’m glad I have one. Though, sometimes, we also need to get lost so we could find home in ourselves. —— That is it! This was harder than I expected. I am a little bit of a materialistic person but I could a actually live without many things. The ones I included are the things that I need to live my life comfortably. Thank you so much for reading! Take care and may the stars above align for you! `Lead image is edited in Canva.` `Images from Unsplash.`

Weekend Wrap-up Why are weekends so short? For today’s blog, I’m going to share how my first weekend for the month of April went. Well, there’s nothing much to share but let’s go on with it. Saturday, April 2 I was supposed to wake up early because I planned to wash our clothes but we had a gmeet with my friends on Friday night so I slept later than I expected. I woke up at almost 7am and I honestly felt tired but still, I need to finish the laundry before 11am because at 11:15am, I have my Taxation class. I usually wash all of our clothes. I don’t want my mom getting tired of the laundry. She’s been washing my clothes since I was young so starting in high school, I am in-charge of washing all of our clothes as long as I am not too busy with my academics. I finished it right on time and still had time to take a bath before class. I had my lunch too during our class which is quite disappointing because I wasn’t able to enjoy my food well. My class lasted for more than two hours, after that, I just rested a bit while watching Tiktok videos then later on, I continued making orders for my business. Today unlocks a new challenge for me because for the first time, I mistakenly swapped the waybill on the two parcels that I shipped. I honestly don’t know how to fix it yet but I’m dealing it with the customers already. I feel like hating myself last night but when I told about it to my friend, she just laughed at me so I think it’s kind of funny now. At night, I was torn between taking the whole night off or if I’m going to make my take home quiz in research. I wasn’t motivated to do it at first so I watched the vlogs of my favorite volleyball players. My requirement is just short but it took me hours to do it because I was taking a rest in between. I managed to finish it at around 12am but I still didn’t pass it because I haven’t done proofreading it yet and maybe some ideas will pop up tomorrow. I watched one episode of the series I’m currently watching while making some orders again before I slept. Sunday, April 3 Just another normal slow day. I woke up and checked on my dogs. It’s the best way to start my day because they boost my mood. I had my breakfast after. My papa brought home ube from upland last Friday so mom and I decided to make ube halaya. They went to the market to buy some ingredients while I cleaned the house and worked on some orders. I grated the ube and it looks like this: We put some coconut milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar, and margarine (because we don’t have butter haha). My mom then cooked it while I fixed the clothes that I washed yesterday. I’m not done yet actually. After lunch, I took my dog Lexy to bath. She likes to have her bath every weekends. She was supposed to have baths twice a week but my schedule says no. I wasn’t able to take a nap because I wanted to be productive. I created new products and listed it on my shop. I finished some orders and I organized my room. I also read my book for a bit. Another highlight is I spent much of my time fangirling. I missed this side of me a lot. I spent my high school life being a die hard fangirl and now I’m back at it. At around 5pm, I do more chores. I prepare for dinner, water the plants, and manage everything in the house because mom went to fetch my little sister’s uniform. ——— It’s Monday again tomorrow! Another week is coming and I’m not ready yet but nobody can stop the time so let’s just move to its beat. Here’s my favorite project for today. It looks pleasing. By the way, I’m gonna end my blog here already because your busy bee is gonna grind again. Let’s make some honey! Thank you once again for being here. I appreciate you. `Lead Image from Unsplash.`

The Rain Poured on April First Beginnings will always be the hardest part because it is accompanied by endings and changes. When you step your feet into a new place, you are leaving another world. Today marks the first day of April — my birthmonth! Of course, this is my favorite month of the year. The flowers bloom, the water becomes crystal, the air smells like summer. However, to my surprise, it rained on the first day of April. I looked down on the plants outside my window and they looked happy embracing the raindrops from the sky. I actually took a nap after I had my lunch. When J woke up, the sky is gloomy and it was a bit windy. Then the rain started to pour. I feel happy that the rain didn’t make me feel anxious this time unlike before. I think that’s another step up for my healing. April is a month for bliss. Happiness is not something you wait for from someone, not something that will occur to you at the specific day you planned it to come, and definitely not something you find elsewhere in this world. Happiness is something you make. Positive thinking is scary because it could result to toxic positivity which brings more negative effects than good. You can bring happiness when your positive thinking coordinates with your positive actions. April is a month for butterflies. Let the plants rooted in place and bloom wherever they are. Let the butterflies come by, open the doors for new possibilities and changes. Do not be afraid to change colors. Dip our minds into new realities. Fly with your wings into places that you’re most afraid to visit. It’s okay to settle but there’s no harm in aiming bigger and exploring new things, even if it causes you to change. April is a month for growth. Stand even if your knees are shaking, swim even if the oceans are soaring high, climb even if the wind tells you to go down. Let your will decide what’s best for you. Claim it, we’ll grow more in strange places. ——— I am hoping that the rain has blessed our April an abundance of love, kindness, and perseverance. I hope the rain has cleansed our regrets and repents, flushed it away from the purity of our hearts so that we can learn to open it up to new people and chances. I will be turning 21 years old this month and I need to surpass greater challenges. I hope the stars will still align according to my way. I am looking forward to more self-love and self-worth this month. Now, that I’ve seen its significance to my well-being, I became more inclined in making myself better each day. ——— This is another scribbles straight from my messy mind. Though sometimes we overlook into the various things around us, I know, in the future, everything will be clear in sight. I was supposed to publish this last night but I immediately fell asleep after jumping in my bed. That’s a proof how tired I am for this week. But at least, it’s done and I was still able to survive it no matter what. *Let’s give ourselves the best kind of rest this weekend!* If you’ve reached this point, you’re a legend! Thank you for your time and support. `Remember:` *The sky is our only limit.* ***Lead image from Unsplash.*** Good bye and take care!

Would You Rather Challenge: Part 1 Hello, everyone! Happy Wednesday to all! I hope everyone is safe and sound. For today’s blog, I’ve read a lot of articles here in readcash which is about challenges like never have I ever, so I looked for a template of a challenge in Pinterest and found one. This is the Would You Rather Challenge! I’m going to make a part 2 if I find another interesting template with another twist. Without further ado, let’s start! Would you rather be able to fly for one day or be invisible for one day? As much as I want to become invisible because that would be nice and funny, I’m having silly thoughts about that, however, I think I will choose being able to fly for one day. I wanted to have wings when I was a child and I thought before that it’s possible to grow it. Another reason is that I love Harry Potter and it may also be nice to fly using a broomstick! Would you rather never use social media again or never watch another movie or tv show again? If I’m going to be practical, I would choose the latter because social media is advantageous for business matters especially in marketing. But suppose I’m in a better situation, I would rather not use social media again because I love watching tv shows and I can’t imagine my life without them. Would you rather always be surrounded by annoying people or be alone by the rest of your life? I love being alone but no one can be an island for the rest of your life. So, I choose to be always surrounded by annoying people. I already have many annoying people in my life and I still love them all. Though my patience is sometimes low, I could still try to manage. Lastly, I know I’m annoying too so it’s a fair match. Would you rather loss all of your money and valuables or loss all of the pictures you have taken? Before, I’m too attached to everything in the past. They said that it is what’s making my life heavy at the present so last year, I began cutting off things from my life. Though it’s painful to loss memories or pictures from the past, I can’t afford to lose my money and valuables because life’s too hard haha. Would you rather die in 50 years with many regrets or die in 20 years with no regrets? I would rather die in 50 years with many regrets. I still want to live a long life (very opposite from my past). Regret is a poison but it’s the reality. You can’t have it all, no one is a perfect human who makes all the right decisions and not making any regrets. Having regret is where we can learn and improve ourselves. And anyway, I want to see my little sister grow. I have been robbed by the world when heavens took away my big sister from us, thus, I need enough time to be with my sister—see her become who she wanted to be and guide her through life. Would you rather have a head the size of a watermelon or have a head the size of a tennis ball? I would rather have a head the size of a watermelon. My head I think is already big so there wouldn’t be much difference haha. And I am also a little bit tall, it might be a more proportionate than having a head the size of a tennis ball. I don’t how my face would fit in that size, I would probably miss my big forehead. Would you rather never be able to ride a plane again or never be able to have access to internet again? I would rather never be able to ride a plane again. I have never tried a plane though but I think internet is already a necessity in everyone’s life. Maybe I’ll just travel thru seas and land if I can’t ride a plane. Would you rather be a wizard or a vampire? As I have mentioned earlier, I am a Potterhead so my answer is obvious. I would rather be a wizard. I don’t like vampires because they’re scary plus blood is gross. But maybe when I will be able to watch a series about vampires, this would be a much harder question. ——— That’s all for this article! I nominate @McJulez to do this too! Thank you for reading! `Leade image is edited in Canva.`

Month End Thoughts and Squabbles I wasn’t supposed to publish an article for this day but my mind has been hazing with thoughts and it’s clouding me at the moment. For this month, it was all about countless self doubts and push throughs. I have been fighting so hard to control my emotions but it often slips and everything is not falling into place. For now, I’m thinking too deep once again on why the world is too unfair. In small and big matters, I wonder why. As for my healing I am proud that after some time, I can finally say that I made the right decision for me. It takes a long time to see the bigger picture but time really helps to enlighten what was happened in the past. I do cry a lot, or little more at times. Trauma is not something we could run away from after closing some doors. Actually, trauma is closing all the doors. It is parallel with isolation, in which, I am so afraid about. With gratitude I could not have been able to reach this moment without gratitude with every little thing that I see and happens every single day. I seek for the little sparks of magic that come. I am grateful to the few people who are always by my side especially to my friend who checks up on me. I wish I am capable of showing my feelings towards others in a way that isn’t awkward. It’s hard for me to open up and she’s been very patient throughout the time. Hopes and Dreams No matter how it’s getting impossible each day to achieve my dreams, I still dream more and bigger than yesterday. I consider my strength to dream as my power because even if an ocean of uncertainties will crush me, I will always find a way to survive. I have seen worse and somehow that gives me the will to overcome whatever it is that will come right at me. Are we ready to close the book? It is somehow heavy to close the book for this Month. We’re also about to end the first quarter for this year. Time flies so fast and maybe I’m proud of my little achievements; I don’t mind if others are doing much, much better than me. I firmly believe we all have our own process of everything. We don’t have the same time stamps. Next month, I will be turning 21 and reality gives me some paper cuts. As we go on with life, you will really realize how at the end of the road, all you will have is yourself. Maybe that’s the reason why I have been so assertive with my beliefs and principles lately. Well, I used to be like this before so I shouldn’t be too much surprised. — I am still standing where I thought I couldn’t be. I was still able to ran a thousands of bumpy roads and climb mountains of impossible things. There’s isn’t a clear path wherever I go but I know, wherever I’m headed, I will never lose myself because there’s a fire inside of me that no one will ever know of but me. On top of things, that’s more than enough. *If I fall, I will land gracefully.* *My shortcomings will help me grow.* *And like a phoenix, I will rise from the ashes.* I will keep repeating these words because I know, time’s the matter and people will start to lose their hopes on me. And it should be okay, because I will have myself no matter what. - I have random things on my mind; I hope though that I am not fooling myself. Haha! Maybe this is the result when you bailed on your therapy sessions. If you read this article, I’m sorry for the red flags that I might have unknowingly raised. I am doing the best I can to be better each day. Here’s to healing and success! *Adios!* `ALL IMAGES ARE FROM UNSPLASH.`

My Favorite Applications on my Phone *Hey, there angels!* For today’s blog, I decided to share to you my favorite applications on my mobile phones. I have two cellphones and I use them interchangeably. They contain lots of applications but there are just some that I use often. LET’S START! VSCO I’ve been using this app for ages already starting from high school. I got obsessed before in my instagram feed aesthetically pleasing so I had a lot of photo editing apps but this one became my favorite. This is easy to use and it’s good if you prefer editing raw picture’s characteristics rather than immediately setting the filter. Lightroom is also good but I’m not familiar with its buttons so I still use VSCO up until now. Pinterest This is my go-to application when I’m bored, when I’m sad, and when I feel demotivated. I get inspired in Pinterest a lot. I can see many projects that excites me, I can see aesthetic photos that I also want to achieve, places that I want to go to, lifestyle that I want to establish. It clears my mind and it always gives me a reason to survive. My favorite app since forever! Canva I know many readcashers use this software application. This is a perfect app because you can do so many things in here — presentations, logos, cards, facebook cover photos, invitations, and a lot more. It’s helpful especially when you have a business and you need aesthetic layouts for your posts. It saves a lot of time and energy. There are also cute and a wide variety of elements that you could choose from if you want to expand your creativity and make your own design. Another advantage is that you can save the project in many file formats. You’ve got no worries in this platform. Shopee Shopee has helped me a lot. I like to shop and treat myself with small things. My cart is full because whenever I’m sad, I add to cart. Haha. I like to explore what’s available on the market. I’m from the province and not everything are available in our locality. Also, I like to find worth it but low priced items—this gives me utmost satisfaction. I also have a small shop on Shopee that’s I always visit the application. I check for orders, messages, shipments, and my listings. Nichi Nichi is a collage and story maker application. I have been using this since Senior High School. It’s easy to use and there are so many stickers that you can add to your project. Everything’s within my scope of aesthetic so I like it. The border designs are not much but it’s okay, I only use some. Using this app is relaxing because it is like I am making my journal. Youtube Youtube is also one of my favorites. I don’t have netflix account anymore so I’ve been spending much more time in Youtube to listen to music, look for song covers, watch vlogs and documentaries, and creating playlist for all crochet and other handmade craft tutorials. It’s a useful software application. I’ve made an article about this too! ——— That’s all! I have other applications that I use more often like Messenger and Instagram but it’s more of a necessity for me because I use them for business and school related matters. There’s one more app that isn’t on the list because I decided to make an article about it so that I’ll be able to explain it’s features. Thank you for reading! `All photos are my own screenshots.` `Lead image from Unsplash.`

Are My Struggles With Asthma Will Be Here Forever? March 27, 2022 Sunday I first woke up at 6am and already didn’t feel good. There’s a lump in my throat and I felt cold and hot at the same time. I don’t want to get sick because there’s a lot of things that I need to do. I stood up and went to our kitchen to drink a glass of water and took my medicine immediately. Our house is kind of far from the city so we are making sure that we have medicines in case of emergency. I headed to my sister’s room and I continued to sleep despite the heaviness of my head. I woke up for the second time after two hours and that’s when I noticed that my breathing is not normal again and I realized I’m dealing again with asthma. `For our additional knowledge:` *Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition that affects the airways of the lungs. When asthma attacks, these tubs become inflamed and narrowed which makes it harder for a patient to breathe.* I’ve been dealing with asthma ever since I was kid. We didn’t have money back then to buy my own nebulizer so we had to go to the municipal health clinic for check up, to nebulize, and get free medicines. Back in high school, I would go to the University hospital if I get attacked by asthma. Growing up with weak lungs, they told me not to do strenuous activities and to always check for my sweat especially in my back but in ninth grade, I joined the training for CAT. I was also an active member of Girls Scout and I tried going to provincial encampments. I didn’t want to be a person who’s just sitting on the corner, afraid of getting tired. What are my common struggles with asthma? Shortness of breathe. It’s hard because it’s like I’m losing out on air and I need to run through my breath. If it’s getting worse, I often have wheezes. Difficulty in sleeping. If I lay down, it’s like I’m being drowned. If I have asthma, I just put a pillow on my back on the wall and sleep like that. It’s uncomfortable but I have no choice. Experiencing chest pain. This only happens when it’s worse or if I’m having a cough. My chest will feel so heavy. Limitation on my work/activities. Simple activity in a short time could make me feel tired already. It’s annoying especially if I have lots of things to accomplish. Nebulize every 6 hours. It is helpful in a way I am not knowledgeable of. The struggle here is the rapid heartbeat I experience every after session. For today, I didn’t use my nebulizer. Also, I drank warm water only. And I took my vitamins which I often forget. Th happenings for today, well, I didn’t do a lot. I was tired from last week. My papa went home and we had lunch altogether. He brought home food for us! Here are they: Spaghetti for me and for my little sister. Palabok for my mama. And donuts for all of us. Of course, I reserved the bavarian flavor for me because that’s my favorite. ——— I still don’t know how or when will my asthma leave me alone. It’s a chronic condition so it’s for a long-term. For some, it could fully go away. For others, it could go away then come back. And for the remaining, it could only be controlled. Most of asthma cases are hereditary. As for my case, I inherited it from my father but his asthma has already gone away. My grandma and tito also has asthma and they still experience the same struggles as I do. That’s it for today, I guess. I’m gonna try to sleep early tonight to have a complete rest for the coming week. Good night and thank you, readcashers! I enjoy being with you on this site. Until next time! `All photos are mine.` `Lead image is edited in Canva.`

Crochet Achievement: Bouquet of Tulips Hi, there! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I waited for the weekend to come because I was so tired for this week. For this day, I woke up early to finish packing an order for my business and to check my activity, scanned it, and passed it on Google Classroom. This time, I an excited to share with you my achievement in my journey of crocheting. At the moment, crocheting is now one of my top hobbies. My mom is a crocheter too and she is pretty good at it. I was born a hoarder so it is actually dangerous when I am being impulsive because I can’t stop myself from buying yarns. But don’t get me wrong, I always know my limits. So, I have yarns with different colors and I didn’t know what to do with them. I looked for inspirations on the internet and decided to start making flowers! Tulips are my favorite flowers so I began making one with color white. I sent some pictures to my friends and they said it’s nice. *Thank you for the support besties!* And then unexpectedly, one of them told me he’ll order tulips for her girlfriend. I didn’t take that seriously because at that time, my tulips is still far from being finished and I didn’t know yet how to finish it—how to put the leaves, how to settle the stem, etc. But, he insisted so I accepted it and took it as a challenge. He is on readcash too! Thank you @Lowa He trusted me on making it. I decided on the colors; he only requested that there will be three blue tulips. I added this colors to complement the blue tulips. I made three with pale old rose, two powder blue tulips, and two white tulips. I made other colors as well but those three looked better together with the blue tulips. They all looked so pretty and I a proud of it! It is overly satisfying to have finished it all. It is instagrammable so I took pictures of course. I even tried to make a bouquet out of it. Here they are: It is my first time setting a bouquet so I am already proud of this one though I’ve bee thinking, I think another dream unlocked and I suddenly wanted to be a florist. It’s good for the heart and soul to arrange flowers. The left one has a lavender which I made a long time ago. It looks great, I didn’t realized it back then so now it is on my to-do list to make more and try other colors or shades as well. Here’s the best picture that I took! I am still practicing on taking flat lays but I’m satisfied with this one. It got straight to my instagram account! I’m still working into other crochet flowers such as sunflowers and daisies. I love flowers; it just makes my heart flutter with joy. ——— This achievement unlocked wouldn’t have been possible if not for my friend who pushed through with his order. Sometimes we think that we can’t do it that’s why it’s important to be surrounded by people who believe in you and your capabilities. It maybe your family, friends, or even the strangers. My hobbies save my life. It gives me a peace of mind and a calmer aura. My anxiety is just around the corner so I need to be in control of myself always, luckily, crocheting helps me with that. Thank you for reading this article. I hope you like it because I’m still planning to share more of my crochet projects. I hope I can inspire you to start crocheting too! Take care, always!

Ninja: The New Member of the Family Good afternoon, Thursday! Just a little bit more patience and this week will finally come to an end again. I am so eager to have weekends already. I slept late last night but still, I woke up with a good mood and for today, I decided to write about the newest member of our family! We have mama dog named Labang (because of her spotted color of brown and white) and it had another set of five puppies last January. After reaching two months, four of the dogs already left our home and went to their new homes. But, one puppy stayed and he is Ninja! I initially named him Panda but my papa said that it would be better if his name will be Ninja. All those five puppies are cute and adorable but I chose this one because it has color black. The other four are white and brown and we already have dogs with that color. Another reason why I chose Ninja to stay with us is that he is very active but at the same time, he easily falls asleep anywhere. Ninja is also very good in eating; he eats everything and even if his tummy is already too big, he would still go back to his plate to finish it all. He likes it when I rub his belly. He likes to sit beside me all the time. At the moment, we have four dogs at home. It should’ve been five but my Pampu died last February 14. It was heartbreaking but he’s already too old and I am happy that he can now go to doggy heaven and play with my other dogs who crossed the rainbow bridge. This is Ninja being cute after my class—relieving my stress. He comes visit me too during my class or if I’m busy in my room. He is becoming more and more clingy every day and he always wants attention. There’s a part of me that doesn’t want him to grow big. He’s cute being such a small dog. Sometimes I don’t know if I’ll get mad or what but I end up laughing. He loves to sleep near my eggplants. Please excuse the grasses, I wasn’t able to clean it up yet at that time. He likes it there because the ground is cool. He runs around my plants which worries me because he might destroy the eggplant. — I don’t think I can live without dogs. It hurts though when the time will come that they will have to leave that is why I do my best to keep them happy and loved all the time as much as they make me feel loved and joyful. If I ever will get rich, I swear I will put up a dog compound for all the street dogs who are being left one alone somewhere and don’t have a home to go to. I will open it for people who want to adopt. We have 3 aspins and 1 which is mixed shih tzu and maltese. Next time, I’ll show her to all of you. But for now, that’s Ninja and I hope you find him cute as well. I wish dogs live longer because they are a lot better than many humans. Let us love not only our dogs but to all the animals. Let us not hurt them. They have a family too, and if not, we should treat them as a part of ours. Thank you for reading and have a blissful day! `ALL PHOTOS ARE MINE.`

Sweet Songs That’ll Make You Fall In Love I am hopeless romantic, there’s no need to put the spotlight on that part already. Today, I am writing about the sweet songs that I adore and makes me feel loved. I listen to songs depending on my mood. At times that I am feeling bubbly and way over clouds, I choose the sweet songs. Let us start! 1. Little Things by One Direction All of us know this song. Have you ever paid attention to its lyrics? This is so romantic and sweet and it gives me butterflies. If you are planning to court someone or if you want to make your partner feel special today, try singing this song to him/her out of nothing. The melody is soft and it just makes me feel comfortable listening to it. It’s like a house that feels like home, a river that flows, and a mountain without a cliff. `“I’m in love with you, and all these little things.”` 2. I was made for loving you - Tori Kelly ft. Ed Sheeran From the title itself, you would already know. It is so much dedicating and honest. It is perfect for romantic dinner dates and or for some cozy afternoon coffee dates. This song cuts through your existence and it kind of teleports you to cloud nine. This was released in 2015 and I listened to this song a lot in my tenth grade. I always had my earphones plugged in wherever I go. I am also a big fan of Ed Sheeran. `“I was made for loving you, even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through.”` 3. I want to write you song - One Direction I am a fan of One Direction so forgive me for this another song coming from them. I always listen to this because it feels like someone is really singing for me with all of their heart, so sincere. It’s a confession though in some other perspective, it could also bring a slight pang of pain. `“I wanna write you a song, one as beautiful as you are sweet.”` 4. Nothing - Bruno Major Just another cozy song for slow days. Though this song makes me feel sleepy, I like it because it makes me feel secured. It gives a unique kind of vibe. I first heard this song from a Facebook story and I was never able to forget the tune. After that, I tried hard to find it. It wasn’t still popular during that time so I was gatekeeping it. I don’t actually like sharing my favorite songs before but I guess it is not so bad to have that song be listened by many people. `“But there’s nothing like doing nothing with you.”` 5. ILYSB - LANY Everybody knows this as well. I love Lany and all their songs. ILYSB hits different and I think it is perfect for long drives while heading to wherever with your special someone, chasing the sunset on the horizon, and not giving a care about tomorrow. `“And you need to know, you’re the only one alright.”` ——— That’s it for this! Please let me know if you love these songs too and comment down other songs that you think might fit on this list. I’d love to know the songs that you listen to as well. Songs are helpful to us in many ways so thanks to all the artists who share their art to us. It is all lifesaving in many possible ways. See you in my next one! `PHOTOS are from Pixabay .`

The Winter Ends and Leaves Will Grow Again The process of life is hard to understand until we are in each season and it brings us nothing but healing and a better perspective of the reality. I am writing this article to share a little bit about my tita who is now in Finland. She graduated with her course BS in Nursing and passed the board examination in her first take with her average rating as top 15 in the Philippines. Many of my father’s siblings are nurses; she had a lot of pressure coming from the family especially from her bigger sister which is now working as a nurse in London, United Kingdom. She was also a hardworking person and that is how she notched top 7 in her boards back then. My tita worked at the provincial hospital, but just like what the other nurses in our country are pleading, the salaries are not enough, the system is broken, and this country do not give enough credit for their sacrifices especially amidst the pandemic. In addition to that, the working environment was too toxic for her. In a split second, her prayers were answered by an opportunity—to work in Finland. However, despite this opportunity, there were a lot of things to settle. First is the language barrier which required her to study the Finnish language. She had regular classes fixed by her agency in connection to Finland. She had to pass weekly assessments, she had to pass the language (written and speaking) exam in Manila, and of course, it was financially heavy because of the pandemic which requires endless testings and border and travel requirements. Before she could even go to Finland, her savings has been zero balanced. But, the stars aligned for her. Many hindrances came by. Before 2021 ended, she landed in Finland. We contacted multiple times so that we could make sure that she’s okay. It was winter season there which definitely made it hard for her to adjust. Everything is too different and from now on, she is now bound to depend on herself. She didn’t get deployed to her work immediately. She had to wait for more than a month before she was able to settle in her apartment. The food and the environment is completely new to her and so it was evident that she lost some weight. She can only eat rice sometimes because rice is expensive in Finland. She is trying to get used to pasta and vegetables. She is balancing work, adjustments, and her schooling. I told her to wander around and so she did. She likes aesthetic things and she goes to a thrift store where she could buy cute mugs for only one Pounds. She has debts because of going there but I remind her not to think about it too much and she should also treat herself and buy enough food. The first thing she bought is a comforter because she said she’s having a hard timing sleeping because it is too cold. Then she also bought a new pair of boots. The one she brought to Finland is a pair she got a thrift store here in the Philippines and it might have given up already. She’s also tracking her bus promptly so that she won’t miss it. During the winter season, this is her bedroom view. She said that it is hard because it is even sad that she can’t determine whether it is already day because it’s always dark outside and the snow is continuously pouring. However, winter season has ended and a new chapter unlocks. Spring season is here! Leaves will now start to grow and the flowers will bloom silently every where. The seasons change to remind us that life comes through in phases. The last time I talked to her, I saw that she’s getting used there, with her routine and all. **Here’s to a hopeful and cheerful spring!** Thank you for reading! Stay kind and do your best!

The Different Types of Rest Having rest is important to each and everyone of us. We need to rest emotionally, mentally, and physically to ensure that we are away from stress and other problems that might arise. Giving enough rest to our body is a means of keeping our health on the line. However, most of us think that when we rest, we just go to sleep or maybe lay down on bed and do nothing. This is a misconception because the truth is, there are different ways to take a rest. Did you know that there are many types of rest? *Let us dig a little more deeper about these!* 1. Physical Rest This is the first type of rest; the one that we are most familiar with. From the word itself, physical rest involves sleeping or taking naps. It could also mean this what we call active rest, such as having a yoga, having a massage, or doing stretching. 2. Mental Rest Even if you had sufficient hours of sleep, you will still wake up tired if you did not have ways of resting your mind. Mental rest is about clearing your mind and giving it some peace. It’s about not holding thoughts that makes your head cloudy. To help you in resting mentally, you may try writing down all your thoughts, every thing that has been bothering you. You can also try to fix your schedules and make a planner. Write down all the things that you have to do, your problems that you’re facing, the possible solutions, and especially the things that you are uncertain about. Also, try putting a break in between your work so that you’re mind can cope up. 3. Creative Rest Yep! This type of rest exists and it is as important as the others. We have to go away from our everyday routine and try to be creative or see something creative. Creative rest can also mean appreciating the beautiful things around us—the nature, go see a museum, or enter the art and craft store and see something that might excite you. Find something to be passionate about, inspire, and be inspired. 4. Emotional Rest Although sometimes, we have our ways of keeping our emotions and feelings away from our everyday lives, it’s also something that we have to deal with. Emotional rest isn’t about controlling our emotions, it’s about settling them and making space for more positive emotions. You can rest emotionally by having some time to deal and recognize your feelings, dealing with acceptance, and it is also a must to share it with someone who can understand. Our feelings are valid, no matter what happens 5. Spiritual Rest This is the kind of rest that is more than just the physical or emotional rest. It is vital in our existence to be restored and find our deeper purpose. By having spiritual rest, we can receive and give a rare kind of love, something that is nourishing and brings true joy. You can rest spiritually by meditation or attending mass at the church, or joining others to their prayer meetings and studies. 6. Sensory Rest In a world dominated by technology, sensory rest is important. Give yourself a time to be away from your gadgets. Though it is our hard in our current situation, you can do this before you sleep at night. Focusing on these gadgets can make us feel overwhelmed. ———— There you go, those are the kinds of rest and each of them are something that we need to give importance to. Investing in yourself includes giving yourself the enough rest not only when you need it, you should do it everyday. Without rest, you may experience various health conditions like depression, too much stress, and you won’t work efficiently and effectively if that’s the matter. Thank you for reading and you may check out my other articles as well! Take care of yourself always!

Little Projects: Beads Accessories I always want to write things that shows my inner self. One of my hobbies is making beaded accessories using beads. I started with few colors only then I stopped because I didn’t like the outputs. Then, I was inspired once again. I immediately let the fire burn and I am happy that this hobby kept me sane at some point. I hauled different colors of beads, tools, and other things I needed using my scholarship allowance and I made different designs. I posted my products too online and that’s how I was able to finance my needs, help in paying our bills, spoil my parents and my little sister, and have savings. I still have lots of ideas with beads but I have a limited time. I have studies, I have to guide my sister in school, do chores, look over my pets, and of course, take care of my mental health. The necklace or choker above is really favorite. I made one for myself but I still haven’t got the chance to use it because I barely go out. More and more customers are placing their orders and I’m happy making it. Next, bracelets! I wanted to make all the fruits as bracelets but I can’t find time as of now so I only created two—lemons and strawberries. I haven’t listed it yet on my shop. Soon maybe, right now it’s on my to-do list to make more variations. It’s cute and simple. I think this is perfect for the summer. Match it with the summer color clothes and there you go! Another one that’s perfect for your summer getaway—personalized aquamarine mask lanyard. I think this is too nice and by looking at it, you can only think of one thing, the beach! I also invested in different letter beads, I have different colors and I just have to choose what’s best for each item. Pastel bracelets. I made one for me and one for my sister. I have a lot of stocks for the pastel beads but I am unsure on what to do with it. I’m still waiting for the right inspiration. This is a boho bracelet. It’s just simple and it also works well with plain outfits. It will also look good as an anklet which you can use while walking down the shore. ——— These are some of the little projects that I made using beads. Doing this hobby makes me calm, it clears my mind, and it gives me satisfaction every time I finish making one. I guess doing things that makes us feel alive is not and will never be a waste of time. I see myself in all the projects that I create and making these items gives me something to look forward to. As for me who suffered with my mental health, finding solace is my triumph. This has been helpful with my healing. ——— Thank you for reading this article. If you want to see more of my creations, comment down because I still have a lot to share. By the way, I wasn’t able to write an article yesterday because I got busy with my school requirement. May the odds always be with us!

21 Songs That I Love: Part 2 Hey everyone! This is now the second part for the series 21 Things About Me! For the part 1, I listed 21 facts about me. For this time, I’ve decided to list dow 21 songs that I love. I will randomly choose from my different playlists. Most of the songs in here have a very important memory with me so I continue to cherish these songs. Scroll down and find out if you know some! 1. When I Look At You - *Miley* *Cyrus* I watched the movie The Last Song and since that day, I already loved this song. Growing up, I listen to this song when I am down or when I’m a mess and couldn’t find a way to get better. 2. Cloud 9 - *Beach* *Bunny* This maybe is one of my favorites last year. I still listen to this because it lightens my mood and it is suggested by someone special to me. 3. We Fell In Love in October - *Girl* *in* *Red* I am kind of obsessed by this song before. However, I don’t listen to this anymore because of a sad memory. It’s still special to me though and I’m hoping to have the courage to revisit this. 4. Midnight Love For the nights that I want to devour with sadness, I listen to this. And also when I write what I feel, it serves like a companion through the dark times. 5. Paraluman - *Adie* 6. Heather It is painful but it gives the pain that is beautiful and terrifying. This is typically my type of music. I listen to this song when I don’t care about everything anymore and just want to dive into nothingness. 7. Night Changes - One Direction This used to be the most romantic song I know, now it’s bittersweet. Listening to this is getting scary because the it pulls the memories that have been hiding in the box. 8. Risk It All - The Vamps The Vamps is my favorite boy band when I was in JHS. I love all of their songs but this one’s different because I believed before that love’s worth risking everything. It is not. 9. All Too Well - Taylor Swift All time favorite, even before the Taylor’s Version was released. This is too painful to hear; the lyrics give tiny paper cuts. But the pain became too familiar and it’s making me strong. 10. Ours - Taylor Swift I could list all of Taylor’s songs in here but the list would be full right away. This song is special and it reminds me of someone. *The stakes are high, the water’s rough, but this love is ours.* 11. Anyone - Justin Bieber I love Justin, even before and I’m happy that he’s now settled, though it’s breaking my heart that it’s not with Selena. That’s the way life works. I like this song because it’s reassuring and it makes me believe that maybe, there’s still a point in life that love truly exists. 12. Off My Face - Justin Bieber It makes me guilt not to put this on the list. This song’s so simple but beautiful. It makes me want to fall in love. It’s romantic and painful at the same time. 13. Iris - Goo Goo Dolls Once again, this is sad. Maybe I like sad songs after all. But this talks about true love, about sacrifice, and I wonder, does it really bring good to the world or just more pain. 14. Castle on the Hill I couldn’t skip a song by Ed, I love all his songs. He songs through his heart and that’s everything. This song is the one so special to me. I couldn’t explain why. 16. Out of my League - Stephen Speaks I don’t want to share this song to others because I want this to be mine alone. This song’s too beautiful. Been one of my favorites ever since. Imagine hearing this from someone and that person’s referring to you. 17. Your Universe - What a serenade. You would be the luckiest if someone sang this song for you. It hits to the bones. *You can thank the stars all you want but, I’ll always be the lucky one.* 18. Yellow - Coldplay I LOVE COLDPLAY. I chose this because this is my comfort song. It makes me feel safe. It gives me hope. If you love this song, I’ll love you immediately! 19. Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol This gives me too much emotions, too much things to remember, it almost drowns me. But I love this, I can cry and it tells me it’s okay. This was also used in Grey’s Anatomy when Derek died, so yes, it’s too much. 20. All I Want - Kodaline Don’t listen to this song. It’s too painful. But it’s one of my favorites because whenever I listen to this, I get to admit the past and feel the pain. Like what John Green wrote, pain demands to be felt. 21. This Town - Niall Horan I still have a lot of songs that I want to share but let me give the slot to Niall and to his masterpiece. His voice calms me down. His songs are hits. *If the whole world is watching, I’d still dance with you.* ——— I enjoyed writing this! I hope you have some favorites from there too. I like listening to songs. It’s my home when the world is too loud to listen. Thank you for reading!

Macramé Products, Woven Baskets, and Handmade Items It is passion that will draw us closer to our dreams. From being solely inspired by the creations I’ve seen on the internet by the macramé artists, I decided to purchase a rope and made one which was supposed only to be ours. At that time, many people became suddenly drawn into collecting different varieties of plants. I posted it on social media and gained lots of interested buyers. It was hard for me to entertain retail customers. I was a one-woman team, I do everything from marketing, answering queries, invoicing, making the products, checking stocks, updating the buyers, packing, shipping the orders, receiving the payment, and updating the buyers on the shipments. I looked for my official resellers, which most of them are garden-related businesses, and I supplied my products to them. I am very grateful to my customers who pushed me to create new designs. They didn’t even had to approve the designs that I made because they said that they trust me. In addition to my macramé products, I also looked for other products that I could sell along with it. I sourced for the local weavers in our province and luckily, I found them. They were very kind and patient. I’m happy that I had the chance to communicate with these people, very humble and dedicated to their work. My customer from Taguig, she’s an interior designer, sent me this picture when she received her first order from me. I had it shipped through the bus. Memorable things are flashing back, I was carrying these baskets going to the bus station. I had to learn how to transact, how to deal, how to act like an adult. I wasn’t able to see the true beauty of my work until my customer placed in their homes and put some plants. They were happy with their purchase and it’s a satisfaction sent through my heart—way better than any value of money I could have. These are the baskets that I sold. I buy these baskets from our local weavers, in Malammin, San Juan, Ilocos Sur, and resell them to my customers because it’s a very perfect complement to my plant hangers. My customer also requested for a design. Guess what? Ilocano weavers are excellent in what they do. These are just some of the baskets they have made. They have it in different sizes and designs. I also requested for a three tier basket which was hot in the market that time. The client I told you a while back, used these products on her room/house transformations. She was also featured on some top newspapers in the country. What a splendid nook, made with pure creative hands and minds. This is a manifestation that Filipinos are talented. I wrote this article to emphasize that we can still kill neocolonialism if we join hands in supporting the locally made products of our fellow Filipinos. It is sad that most Filipinos put more value on imported products when there are locally made ones which are a lot better. I think it’s also time to widen and put importance to this industry because it helps a lot of communities who are being deprived of the spotlight. ——— Thank you so much for all your support! It’s now second week in this platform.

The Art of Being Unstoppable *I keep hearing the song Unstoppable by Sia so I decided to write an article about it. This will be the first entry for a new series, The Art of Living.* ——— Being unstoppable doesn’t mean not knowing your limitations, but, it’s about being able to stand on your both feet no matter how hard the circumstances are. It is about dreaming big and doing everything that you can to achieve them. The primary thing to do is to know who you are and recognize what your heart desires. Knowing these things about yourself is fascinating because it’s like you’re picking up the pieces of yourself that you’ve lost along the way and creating new pieces that will help you shape your future. While you are doing this process, don't judge and measure yourself and your capabilities solely on the basis of your outcomes - this is a big mistake that many of us make, and we tend to give up when we don't achieve the results we want immediately. While you may not see any difference or improvement right away, and you may not succeed in your very first attempt, growth is occurring, similar to that of the bamboo tree. Regardless of whether or not you see quick results, keep your focus and keep on believing in what you're doing. Important note: Don’t be the least person who believes in you. You become unstoppable when discern little mishaps and failures as a huge part of the process. I have watched Grey’s Anatomy series until season 15 and here’s a line that I love from one of the best surgeons there: "Have some fire. Be unstoppable. Be a force of nature. Be better than anyone here and don't give a damn about what anyone thinks." -Cristina Yang, Season 4 Episode 15. Just keep swimming, keep moving forward. Learn from your past but don’t sink on that place and never keep going back there. You should understand that the past stays right there but you, you are up into a better place. If you carry the burden around, the past will drag you back to the pain and suffering. Always be on the lookout for new opportunities, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for any new information. The world is so wide for us to explore. Every day is a new chance to learn and unlock new knowledge that could help us in various ways. Learning is achieving. Don’t close the books, read more. Never underestimate the value of your hard work – every late night juggle, every sweat, every running under the sun. If you want something, look for the barriers then remove them all. The most important advice I may give is to never lose yourself in the process. Do things because your heart is at that line and is willing to cross it. You can never be unstoppable if you do not have internal peace and passion for what you are doing. What are you doing still? Make your coffee and let’s conquer the world. Keep inspiring yourself because that inspires the people around you as well. ——— This is my 7th article on readcash. Thank you so much everyone! I’d also like to thank to the very first sponsor that I had. I’m so happy! You make my heart full.

What’s on my Shopee Cart Window shopping is my stress reliever, I know that’s kinda weird but it’s true. Since pandemic started, I wasn’t been able to go to different stores in our locality but luckily, online shopping stores are here to save me! I have lots of online shopping applications on my phone but I only use Shopee because I think it has the most user-friendly interface as compared to the others like Lazada. Shein and the rest are expensive so I haven’t tried to buy there at all. Now, let’s move on! Most of the time, I buy random cute stuff on Shopee, some are for my business, some for my school, and some are for my survival! Stockable Shoe Boxes It's been in my cart for so long but I haven’t checked it out yet because I prioritized buying my books. By the way, I am not gonna use this as boxes for my shoes, instead, as organizers for my yarns, works, projects, stationeries, and other stuff in my room. Hopefully, I can checkout this coming Payday Sale so I could try and see if it works the way I want. I chose white because I love white, it’s neater. Plus, my room is already pink and I don’t want to get more pastel colored organizers because it’s too close in becoming like a nursery. Paint by Number Illustration I love arts even though I’m not good at it. I badly want to practice painting but I can’t do freehand technique so I guess this is my chance to have a painted artwork. I haven’t actually chosen a final design yet because everything looks good but maybe I’ll consider the one that matches my room because I’m planning to put it in a frame once it’s done and hang on my plain gray wall. Faber Castell Pastel Highlighters Back in high school, I had a complete set of highlighter but when I got into a college, I barely had one. But, I’m changing that now. I recently bought pastel yellow in the bookstore and I liked it so now I’m going to purchase more colors. Hopefully, I’m going to get extra inspired in studying. Pen Holders and Reading Frame I badly want these! I already have a pen holder so for that one, I’m going to use it as an organizer for my crochet hooks and other tools. For the reading frame, it would be useful, I know, but I still don’t have the courage to buy because I don’t think I deserve it yet. Acrylic Yarns I have lots of yarns on my cart—different colors and types. I promised myself not to buy yet because I could hardly finish one project and I don’t have space to store the yarns. Maybe those yarns will stay there for a long time. Tops I found these cute tops. I like the design and the product ratings are good as well. I hope I can buy soon because it’s been a long time since my last clothing purchase. I think the price is fair anyway. ————— I have a whole lot more on my cart. Honestly, I struggle sometimes because it’s reached 200 products already and I can’t add more! I only checkout goods that I really need and when I think I deserve it. Shopee has been a great shopping application because you can track the orders and check the shipping updates. There are also free shipping vouchers which I am always eyeing for. For a long time, purchasing online has been my stress reliever because it keeps me alive by having something to look forward to. The products I’ve shown you might be of small amounts only but it means a lot to me. I am not sure how this article might help you but that’s it! Thank you for reading and comment down some of the products that you’ve added on your cart, I am also interested to know! May the odds always be with you!

Women’s Power is Unequivocal Last 8th of March, we celebrated International Women’s Day but since in the whole month of March, we celebrate and give signification to the contributions of women to our society, I wrote this article to relay my thoughts and deepest sensibilities. Patriarchy has been embedded in the culture of the Filipinos and it started way back in the beginning of colonialism. Women were considered lower than men. For many decades, women’s opinions are disregarded, their strengths are pushed down, their capabilities are hidden, and their role were sculptured to just stay at home, provide all the men’s needs, give birth and take care of the children, and run the household. I grew up in a patriarchal household where men should be in control of everything, they make the rules, they are the ones to approve, they are the ones to be followed. In this setting, I realized how messed up this type of living is. Inequality cannot sustain a life that’s deserving for everyone. I believe that women should fight for their rights and voice out their concerns, however, no matter how far women fight, are there people out there who actually stand up for them? It is unwavering on how people can easily see courage on men but when women strive to make a change, they are being named as fool and illiterate. Here are some empowering quote to remember: “A girl should be two things: who and what she wants.” *Women should be in control of herself, her life, her decisions, and her body. It’s time to give women their freedom and rights to stand on their both feet and conquer the world that they want to conquer.* “There is no force equal to a woman determined to rise.” *Never let their belittlements be bigger than your will and hopes. What is saddening in this regards actually are the women pulling down another woman. I wish we could all be bigger than these. Even for men – aiming for equality shouldn’t feel like a loss on your ego.* In addition to my takeaways, having no children does not invalidate a woman’s worth. Women don’t need to marry and have a husband in order to attain life’s utmost goals. a woman can stand alone on her both feet and she can be successful and happy on her own. people should not be equating an independent woman’s existence as sad and worthless just because it is different from the traditional set-up of most women who’ve undergone and lived their lives under a patriarchal society. People need to stop downgrading every woman. we need to stop labeling women as weak and frail and stop putting a word into their mouth because they can decide on their own, they have bigger dreams than you can imagine, they have a fire in their hearts and no one has the right to put that away from them. Cheers to a society where everyone can prosper and attain respect regardless of the race, age, gender, and all matters that were made up to make someone feel small because of their differences. Thank you for reading this article! I hope I have made at least a slight difference. Normalcy isn’t for everyone, let that sink in. ***Always remember, be kind at all times!*** PHOTOS ARE FROM PIXABAY. LEAD IMAGE IS EDITED IN CANVA.

To All the Boybands I’ve Loved Before As cliché as it may sound, music has saved my life a million times yesterday and a million times more for hereafter. I walk around the school campus incomplete without my earphones. Yep, I’m that girl obsessing over songs, I can memorize every word in the lyrics, and every song has an important and unforgettable memory attached to it. Do you want to know how obsessed I was? Well, I loved all great artists but I loved the boybands the most. I was head over heels over The Vamps, 5 Seconds of Summer, and One Direction – my top three favorites, I guess. I submerged myself in Twitter before and I had lots of fan accounts, some of which has been followed by my favorite artists. Twitter was my home before because I met many internet friends there, Filipinos and foreign. I was jumping after every update they post and my body clock wasn’t even settled because I was used to their time, specifically UK time zone. These boybands are the reason why I spent lots of my money and at the same time, I also saved some because I was really having high hopes that I will be one of the lucky people and have my chance to go to their concerts here in the Philippines. Like I said, I spent a lot because of their merchandise. I would buy anything that has their picture on it. I admit, I was the obsessed fan girl. I would buy their albums, print their pictures, buy once again their posters and put it all in my room that every time I woke up, I would see nothing but their faces and then I will have a good mood despite the unpleasant things happening in my life before. I know this sounds silly but I love their songs that much that there are certain times in which I feel like I am making their music video because other than being an emotional person, every word really matched my life and/or situation. HOWEVER, that was before. Though I still love them deep in my heart and I still lowkey support them, I think something big has changed in me – maybe I became more mature or became more of an adult who values her time and money well. In my Senior High School, I kind of had a great space between them and until now, I still haven’t got the feeling to be back in my life as a fan girl. After how many years, it’s sad how The Vamps is still underrated. They are very talented. Even 5SOS are not in the top news anymore. Most of their concerts are rescheduled because of the pandemic. The saddest part is that One Direction never came back from their hiatus. Nonetheless, I choose to be happy that each of them made their own success in the industry and they were able to show off their art. To all the boybands I’ve loved before, I still love you. And I wish you nothing but success in every place you put your passion to. ——— Thank you so much for reading my article. Your support is much appreciated. See you in my next one! Always remember, be kinder than yesterday and let’s paint tomorrow with hope. PHOTOS ARE FROM PIXABAY.

Province Life: An Ilocana Since I am new in this platform, I decided to give you a glimpse about my life. *This is my second write up, by the way!* First and foremost, I was born and I currently reside at the Heritage Province of Ilocos Sur, specifically, in its capital — the historical city of Vigan. There are many things I love about staying and living in the province and there’s no ounce of regret that my mother and father came here. I haven’t seen the best places in every corner of Ilocos but I know it’s full of treasures. All of the structures here have its own history and it dates back to the times that we are being colonized by the Spaniards. Kudos to our government officials and residents who preserve, maintain, and store these pieces of the past. Love and respect are evident in our city. I therefore conclude that Vigan City deserves to be one of the Wonder Cities of the World. Aside from the beauty and uniqueness of this city, foods or dishes are also outstanding like empanada, longganisa, dinengdeng, and many others. I wish you wouldn’t miss the original recipe and taste so come and visit in here. My life as an Ilocana revolves in being a responsible daughter and sister at home and an obedient citizen in our place. Life here is simple but marvelous. Wherever you go, you’ll have a breath of fresh air and you’ll definitely feel home even if you’re away from home. I barely go out now that pandemic is currently happening but whenever I go out, our place remains beautiful in every angle. I hope next time, I’ll get to show you raw photos of the Calle Crisologo, I think it’s the most popular spot that people can remember when when they hear about Vigan. I may have been here the whole time but that place is still magical especially at night, with those streetlights, it’s romantic. Sometimes, we’d hang out with my friends near the beach. The new projects in our place are seaside roads. Since then, more people are coming to the beach especially to watch the sunset. There are lots of vendors too so these projects are really beneficial to many, even to our economy at some point. Being an Ilocana, we like to take every available adventure no matter how simple it is. Sunset is my favorite scenery. It calms me down and refreshes my mind. It helps me to accept the things that are done and gives a way for me to have hope for a better tomorrow. Every sunset memory of mine is important and I keep it in the deepest part of my heart. I always spent it with the best people and I cherish it forever. To tell you the truth, it’s even hard to choose as to which beach is perfect because we are surrounded by bodies of water and even mountains too. Adventures are just around the corner. That’s our advantage of being here in the province because we are so accustomed to the nature. Of course, I shouldn’t forget that in the province, plants and trees are everywhere and they bear foods. I grew up waiting for our trees to bear fruits such as the guava, mango, and guyabano. Ilocanos are patient and they lots of time planting. We are thrifty so we are kind of doing our best to fit the budget because we like to earn money for the future or for other more important matter. We put so much value on our own hard-earned money. I am an Ilocana and I’m proud to be one. I have been to other local places but this place is where my heart is so I couldn’t help but to come back. I learned most of the important lessons I needed to survive in my hometown. If you’re planning to have a travel, make sure Ilocos is in you bucket list because I swear it will be worth it. There’s more to share about our place and maybe I’ll show it to you next time. I don’t have a plan yet to move out of our province but I cannot say that firmly because I am not sure what the future holds. And as they say, I won’t totally grow if I won’t immerse myself in a new environment. How about you? Where were you born and where do you stay now? ————— Note: Thank you very much for your warm welcome and support! I hope to get along with all of you in this platform. I look forward to have friends here.

What I Watch on YouTube Hi, everyone! This is my first ever article. I would always find myself on YouTube - an application software that allows users, both viewers and content creators, to upload videos, share knowledge and talents, inspire other people, and learn about almost everything under the sun. Today, I’m going to show you something personal about this social media platform. The question is, what do I watch on YouTube? **Crochet and other craft tutorials** I am the type of person who learns more when I see someone doing it so YouTube is perfect for me and my hobbies. I also think it helps me to become more creative and boosts me to do artistic things. It’s been very great to have this software because I can really learn a lot any time and there are lots of videos that I could choose from.  I am deeply grateful to the artists who share their tutorials.  **Music videos** I love music, I bet all of us do. YouTube is where artists premiere their music videos. You can create playlists there or you can like the video so you can visit them anytime you want in your personal likes folder. I do not only watch official music videos but also song covers. Really, YouTube is a great platform for aspiring artists to show off their talents to the whole world. **Café and baking vlogs** I most specifically watch Korean café and baking vlogs because it is too aesthetic and satisfying. When I was having a hard time falling asleep at night, watching these vlogs are all that I do at night. Also, it inspires me to have my own café soon and maybe buy the machines and make coffee and make cute pastries at home. I hope I could visit Korea too in the future and go to all those amazing places to finally have a taste of those things that I’ve watched. **Documentaries** When I get tired or stressed about the storyline of the fiction series that I’m watching, I immediately watch non-fiction in the form of documentaries. I watch local and international videos and usually it’s amazing to be able to know their discoveries but in terms of local, it’s an eye opener to the real life of most Filipinos. I commend Kara David for her hard work and dedication to her documentaries. **Travel vlogs** I haven’t been traveling yet because I am still financially incapable for the expenses but watching travel vlogs feels like I’ve gone to different places already. It’s nice to see that there are wonderful places in the world and it inspires me as well to do my best so I could also do those things. I like travel vlogs that are informative so that viewers like me can gain ideas on how and what to prepare for.   These are the top five things that I watch on my YouTube. Others are interview videos, Accounting lecture videos, and review videos about products that I am interested in buying.  Thank you for reading! Comment down below what you watch on YouTube!
