Ten (10) Ways to maintain your sanity! (Lite version)

Sanity is a large part of humanity. If you don't die by animals or bugs or rashes or illness you will die from losing your mind and if you lose your mind, you hear voices and you see things and you'll end up fighting random natives that aren't even there. There are many ways to improve or lose your sanity and I am going to go through a list of 10 to help you out.

1. Being near a fire

Being near a fire will increase your sanity by plus two or three clicks every few minutes. This is great because a fire allows you to cook food get warm get cozy and obviously raise your sanity. However, having a fire out at night may have the potential to attract the undesirable beings in the jungle such as natives or the jag wire! Lol!

2. Honeycomb from a Honeybee Hive

Eating this will in fact increase your sanity. Fn fact- you can also make a bandage out of the honeybees. You can make a honey band. If you've ever walked through the bush and you've gotten a rash guess what the honeycomb bandage is the cure.

3. Comfortable sleep

In order to get comfortable sleep you cannot sleep on the ground. You must sleep in a hammock or a  bed or a makeshift bed. You can't sleep on the ground if you want to have comfortable sleep.

Try sleeping on a bed and you will get +3 sanity whenever you wake up.

 4. Eating a parrot / bird meat

Now take this with a grain of salt as I'm. It suggesting you change your diet if you're vegetarian. I'm just saying eating birds especially will increase your sanity short and sweet to the point.

5. Don't eat human meat

Many people make this mistake because they played the game of the forest where you essentially survive by being a cannibal eating other cannibals and with zero side-effects.

That's not the case here. If you eat cannibal meat guess what you're going to be docked like 35 sanity points. It's pretty hefty isn't it?

6. Don't eat larvae

Now larvae by itself is a terrible thing for your sanity and it's probably taste disgusting anyway so don't eat it. However, you can use larvae in certain soups.

7. Don't eat maggots

Don't eat maggots the same exact reason as the larvae however they can be used to treat infectious festering wounds and you can also use them in soups and stews.. So delicious I guess.

8. Don't sleep on the ground

Don’t sleep on the ground because you'll get ringworm. A lot of people get caught off guard with the ringworm because it drops their sanity and they're freaking out and they don't have a bone needle to dig it out.

Fun fact- you get a bone needle by harvesting any kind of bone whether that be a bone that you find on the carcass of a dead animal, a native that you killed (I wouldn't suggest this), or a Fish.

9. Don't eat raw food

If you eat food that is not cooked, it will make you feel weird and you will eventually lose your sanity.

10. You will lose sanity by eating something unknown

You will lose sanity by eating something unknown items such as the mushrooms, some herbs and some fruits everybody.

Take this with a grain of daily and simply have some fun with it. Mental health is very important and you need to take care of it by every means possible!

If a person eats a human or other person's meat that can be really said being insane because there is no sane human will eat other human even for survival.

I am not a vegetarian, but I will try to internalize the 10 ways you discuss here. This might be helpful someday. Due to too much stress, people might lose their self.
