Alone in the dark II (Sci-fi)

Continued from Alone in the dark (Sci-fi)….
“Warning, Oxygen is at 28%”, a voice spoke from within the chamber. It was a man’s voice.
“Who are you?”
“Where am I?”, She asked as she shook with fear.
“I am your medical assistant. I have been designed to cater for your medical needs. Call me Tony”, it said with a robotic voice. It was an AI. The question of what she was doing there and how she got there wasn’t answered. Perhaps it wasn’t programmed to answer such questions.
She began to observe her body. There were several tubes attached to her stomach like those she had initially removed from her hands but much bigger. She shrieked as she pulled them out of her body. She was in pain. It was inevitable. She wanted to wake up from this bad dream as she couldn’t take it anymore. Maybe it was a dream, maybe it wasn’t. There was no way to tell.
“You’re in a state of panic, would you like a sedative?” Tony asked.
She ignored the question “let me out” she screamed as she pushed the top of the chamber as if to push it open. She was in distress and couldn’t bear to be there for much longer.
“I’m sorry I can’t do that for now” Tony replied. “You’re in distress, would you like to be given a sedative?” “I don’t want a sedative just let me out”, she screamed as she continued to bang the chamber hard with both hands.
“Have I been kidnapped? Please tell me what is going on”, she continued to bang hard in all directions.
“I am not programmed to answer this question. I can only give you a status report”. Tony replied.
“Yes please. I want a status report”. She answered quickly with her heart beating fast as though she had been waiting for the answer to that question.
“The cooling system in your pod has been damaged. This has affected your oxygen level, resulting in a suspension of your cryo-sleep”. Tony narrated.
“Cryo-sleep?” then I must be in an hospital she though as she began to hit even harder as she did previously as she attempted to get someone’s attention. If she was in a hospital, then someone must be nearby. “heeeelp, somebody…anybody. I’m awake. Let me out”, she screamed at the top of her voice as she continued to hit all directions. She screamed until her voice could no longer cope with the stress.
“I don’t want to die, please help me” she sobbed as tears began to drop from her eyes. She realised no one was coming and could do nothing but cry. She cried and cried until her eyes could produce no more tears. “Somebody, anybody”, she said as her voice faded.
She had become weak from all the screaming and banging. Her hands could no longer bang as hard as she initially did. She was beginning to lose hope.
Her eyes had become red and swollen from crying for several minutes and her vision became blurry. She began to run her fingers around the tube with the hope of finding a button to release her from her prison or perhaps a button to alert whoever was out there. Indeed, she was in prison, she needed to be free.
As she scanned the environment with her hands, she came across a small opening. She dipped her hand in quickly as though she had been expecting the opening. She put her hands in quickly and began to explore the box until her hands touched several wires. “If something goes wrong, the hospital staff will be alerted”, she thought as she pulled the wires towards herself as she attempted to cut them.
She was electrocuted.
She screamed as she was electrocuted. She jerked back and forth as she forcefully pulled her hands off the wires.
She wasn’t moving. Was she asleep? Maybe.
When she opened her eyes Tony’s voice alerted her. “Your oxygen is at 20 percent”.
Her vision was still blurry from the shock. She looked towards the open space she had previously put her hands and out came spiders. The spiders rushed out of the space and rushed towards her as if they had been provoked. They began to climb her body and rushed towards her face as she struggled to take them off. The many spiders rushed over her and walked over her face with intent. They began to enter through every hole- her mouth, ears and nose as she screamed at the top of her voice.
“Calm down, you need to calm down. You are in shock”, Tony said as she screamed for about fifteen seconds until the spiders vanished. The spiders weren’t real. She was hallucinating perhaps out of shock or an unconscious fear of spiders. She began to cry once more.
“Please if you can hear me, let me out. I’d do whatever you want. Just let me go”. She cried and pleaded for minutes until she became tired once more.
“I need to get out of here… I need to get out of here….”, she said continuously in a low tone. She was confused and had no idea what to do. She was confused and unsure.
There was no way to tell if she was in a hospital or had been kidnapped. She wondered how long she had been there and hoped that someone would come for her soon.
If she had been kidnapped, sooner or later her captors would come for her. What if they had been caught by the police and refused to disclose her location. What if they had been caught while attempting to do the same to someone else and had been apprehended. Both cases mean she would be forgotten in this place forever.
She couldn’t control her thoughts anymore. Different situations played in her head, with each one worse than the last. Her heart began to beat fast as though she had been running for a few minutes.

Reminds me of a movie I watched I just forgot the title but it was a French movie.
