Several dogs came into our lives as pets. We usually have a maximum of two dogs but they grew in numbers unexpectedly as years pass by. Now we have different generations of dogs in our household. Here are the five dogs we have up to the present.
Lassy
Lassy is the oldest dog we have. He's currently 12 years old. Way back 2009, we have a dog who just died and Lassy replaced him in a few months. My dad has a friend who live next to our street and that person gave us Lassy. He's the most hyper dog especially in his younger years that's why they don't let him out of the cage. He jumps in the air while turning like a dolphin and he runs like a horse. He's hard to catch once he runs. He will even jump out of the house and run along the road. He may be old now but he's still energetic.
Dutches
Come 2012, Dutches came in and joined Lassy. She has a partial japanese spitz breed. My sister's friend gave Dutches to her. She may be barking at people like Lassy does but she's really funny. I saw her barking at mom's visitor before. She was barking but she backs off, walking away from the person she's barking at. She doesn't have the guts to bite. Unfortunately, she died last year around April. Our maid just saw her lying down. We suspect it's because of extreme heat brought about by summer. Rest in peace Dutches.
Marky
Year 2013, dad bought a shih tzu dog from my cousin. My niece named him Marky. I remember how well behaved he was while we transport him. He's the nicest dog we ever had. He's very friendly to people, fellow dogs and other animals like cats and bunnies. Marky befriends everyone so he can have playmates. He loves asking for belly rubs too even from strangers. He doesn't bite. He doesn't pee on objects and he's not destroying anything. He behaves well when you bathe or groom him. His behavior made him the crowd favorite. He's the most pampered. He's the only one who stays inside the house and even allowed in our rooms. We give him a fan or sometimes allow him in an air conditioned room. Marky is the one we hug most.
Loki
After 7 long years, another dog joined us again. My sister really wants to have a pomeranian for a pet. She bought one this January and named him Loki. There are different types of pomeranian. Loki is called the fox type. No wonder he slightly resembles a fox. He's as big as Marky now that he is 10 months old. Loki loves to sit on someone's lap and he's very good at balancing. His legs are powerful despite being small. He can move around and walk while he's on your lap or while standing in 2 feet. Loki doesn't bite even strangers so they sometimes let him out of the cage.
Muffin
My nephew wants a black shih tzu dog. They bought one this April. My nephew named her Muffin. She's energetic and quite hyper. Petting her will calm her down. She also eats a lot. She's the fattest of the all now that she's a grown up. Her fur is a surprise. We have no idea why her black fur turned gray. We can't tell if that black color is just a dye or is it normal for some dogs to have that big change in their fur. This happened after her grooming session. Regardless of her fur color, she still looks adorable and the best thing is her fat belly that I squeeze.
These fur babies are so precious. Their cuteness and antics make us smile. They all deserve love. I hope they live a long life and enjoy it to the fullest. I look forward to more generations that they'll leave behind years from now.
Those fur babies of yours are so cute. We also have one here and three cats :) they are part of our family already
