I saw another view from the aviary of Villa Alfredo's resort. It's been 8 years since we've been there and I'm glad that I still have this photo saved in my laptop. I saw it while organizing my files. This is the only resort that has an aviary. The only one I've seen so far, which is unique. You have something to do if you're not swimming for a while. This is the biggest area of their aviary. No cages here and it's amazing that the birds here don't escape. Looks like they…

It's the first #Caturday of the month and the Kuya Sexy, the sexy cat would like to welcome October the sexy way to make us smile. Look at how he cleans himself with style. This is one of the photos I have captured when I paid a visit at home. This epic pose alone made my day and it made my visit worthy. You nailed it again sexy cat. Till your next funny sexy pose. 😸

@KrisCastro

🏀 HANAMICHI SAKURAGI 🏀 After almost 5 months, I'm so glad to be able to draw anime again. I really miss it so I drew Hanamichi Sakuragi, the main character in the anime, Slam Dunk. This is my work in progress. I'll be transferring this to a vellum drawing paper and put full color to it. To the anime fans out there, especially to my age group, this guy will surely bring nostalgia to your high school days. I'm a Sakuragi fan. His crazy antics made me laugh my ass out each time…

The Law of Attraction: The Power of Our Minds If you're familiar with The Secret: The Law of Attraction, this is the first ever thing that was introduced to me 7 years ago when I was a newbie to the business venture I am in now. This is the first ever topic my coach has taught me before I learned about the success killers I shared on my previous article. This is what I like about the business. They don't focus on teaching sales. They help you develop the right mindset first…

@KrisCastro

Way back 2014, I started to enter to a business venture and guess what, the first ever thing my coaches taught me is not about sales. It's about character development. They introduced the law of attraction to me. It basically means thoughts become things. I made a diagram that gives a simple explanation about the process happening in the law of attraction. When I started to understand this, it really gave me goosebumps. We've been encountering this everyday but most of us…

Marky is not fond of plants maybe because the leaves are itchy for him but for the sake of playing with cats, he will really find his way to get near them. He would even climb the pots just to reach them. I captured his moment trying to get by the plants to reach the two kittens. He tirelessly run around those plants. Luckily, the adult cats came in so he ended up having someone to hangout with. Oh Marky you're like a kid. 🐶

@KrisCastro

Junior Jr. cleans herself the cute way. 😺 After playing with the nerf gun bullet (the yellow stick behind her) it's time for her beauty ritual. She's starting to grow up now. She knows how to clean herself already. No need for her mom to groom her. Stay pretty while playing Junior Jr. 😺

The Types of People You Should be Aware of if You Want to Prosper Financially One of the trainings I have attended in the business venture I am in is about character development that affects our financial life. Our mentor once said that we are the average of the five people we spend most of our time with because we are influenced by their behaviors and habits. We should carefully choose who to be with because being surrounded by the right people is one of the factors that…

After six months of waiting, I'm finally scheduled for covid vaccine. Good thing the venue is at the mall. It's very accessible and itvs airconditioned. Currently lining up and waiting for my turn. This is my first dose. I hope I won't have any side effects. I also hope the best and the most compatible vaccine for my body will be the one injected to me. 💉

@KrisCastro

As I attend self development trainings, I learned that we are the average of the people we spend most of our time with and it makes sense because we adopt the habits of these people and it includes the financial aspect. I learned about the different people thst we should be aware of if we want to prosper in our financial life. You can find the details here https://read.cash/@KrisCastro/the-types-of-people-you-should-be-aware-of-if-you-want-to-prosper-financially-458efd43.…

Should I call this Junior kick? 😸 I took the chance to take pictures this afternoon while I can with these cattos. This is Junior's most unusual pose so far while she's cleaning up. She's very acrobatic here as if she's gonna kick or split. Good thing she paused for a while. Her exhibition is meant to be revealed here. 😸

@KrisCastro

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fattest of them all? 😁 Last night, I saw someone running outside. I thought it's Marky coz it's a bit dark. But when I saw a fat belly, I figured it's Muffin. 😄 My nephew let her out for a while. The good thing about her is that she has this habit of pausing for a while and turns her head before she runs again. It's easier to take photos with that. I squeezed her belly after. 😁 Adding this to #DogPose by @Jenyam

@KrisCastro

It's back to back shih tzu Friyay. It's Marky's turn. Marky's persistence is real. 😁 He really loves to follow these cats. Azul is scared of him and won't go down. Marky only wants to play with Azul and he's unstoppable. He likes cats and he enjoys hanging out with them. Continue pursuing Azul. I'm sure you can be pals coz you're a good boy Marky. 🐶😺

@KrisCastro

Look who's our special guest for today's #Caturday 😄 They let Loki out so he's having fun running around and he stops by to sniff on cats. Abs is watching him while he makes his funny "wacky" face. Loki actually wants to hangout with cats but he is quite hesitant to go near them. He would back off after sniffing them. Then he will get close to them again. I hope Loki and the catto family become friends one of these days. 😺🐶

@KrisCastro

After having a special guest this #Caturday, it's now time for the sexy cat's modeling career. First, it was an alcohol spray, now he's a rice model. 😸 He's in demure mode today and I noticed something. He's learning a new skill. Look at how he curled his tail. I noticed that he's been doing that lately. This is his new pose, the figurine pose. You're the best catto model, sexy cat. 😺

@KrisCastro

I spotted a boss while I was waiting for my order at the eatery. He has his own fan too. The owner of the eatery owns that dog. He said this dog is very nice. They let me sit while they cook my order. I was sitting close to the dog. He approached me and I was able to pet him. He's so fluffy. Then he came back to his seat in front of the fan. When they're done cooking and gave my order, he approached me again when he saw me leaving, as if he wants to go with me. He won't sit…

Our Doggo Babies of All Ages Several dogs came into our lives as pets. We usually have a maximum of two dogs but they grew in numbers unexpectedly as years pass by. Now we have different generations of dogs in our household. Here are the five dogs we have up to the present. Lassy Lassy is the oldest dog we have. He's currently 12 years old. Way back 2009, we have a dog who just died and Lassy replaced him in a few months. My dad has a friend who live next to our street and…

@KrisCastro

Our family always had dogs for pets. We never lose one. Those who passed away are always replaced. We have 1-2 dogs in an average. But this time, their numbers surprisingly increased. I wasn't expecting to have 5 dogs in the house. One of them died though. We are now keeping different generations of dogs. Some of you may know them. Ever wonder how they started to join us? Here's the history of the different generations of dogs living with us.…

Misha is starting to explore my doorstep. She followed me after throwing my trashes. Look at that innocent look. She was staring at me then she turns her head, looking around the place. If only the landlady would allow, I will let Misha in once in a while. No pets are allowed inside the apartment so I can just pet her at the doorstep or give her spare food whenever I throw my trashes. I was secretly doing it. 😉

@KrisCastro

I found another photo that mom has kept from her Marian pilgrimage tour. One of the places she had been is at Monserrat, Spain. She was able to capture this photo while she was walking. This place is known for these unique shaped mountains you can see behind the buildings. I like how it blends well with the look of the city, as if it's part of the building design since they look like rocks. This is definitely a very memorable tour for mom when she retired.

@KrisCastro

I know what you want Marky 😉 He's just waiting for me to finish taking pictures coz he really wants to play with that broom. He's slowly getting close to it. At least he's still behaving himself no matter how much he wants to play. After that, he went down the stairs and came towards me. As if he knows that I'm done taking pictures when I put down my phone. You really are an adorable good boy Marky. 🐶 Adding this to #DogPose by @Jenyam

@KrisCastro

This is St. Peter's Square, Rome. This is still part of the Marian pilgrimage tour mom had in Europe. The place is named after one of the apostles of Jesus and the first ever Catholic pope, St. Peter. This is the place where he suffered due to martyrdom. Mom enjoyed her encounter with the pigeons here. They seem to be comfortable with people. As an animal lover, I think feeding them is the best part here.

@KrisCastro

A magical editing for Marky. I got this set of lens for my phone and one of them is the kaleidoscope 6 lens which has the effect of multiplying the subject to six. I tried using it on Marky and he turns into a six-headed mythical dog. I took this photo at our dining area and came up with the idea that the black tiles and the six-headed Marky will fit in an enchanted forest so this is the result of my editing. I used PicsArt app for this one. Adding this to #DogPose by @Jenyam

Our Summer Outing in Poracay One summer of 2016 and 2017, our relatives discovered a resort where we can have an outing and beat the summer heat. We went to Poracay, a local resort along Porac, Pampanga and we've been there twice. We stayed there for w nights and three days. They have a lot of pools and amenities that will surely maximize your time there. Here are some photos of the facilities I have captured. @KrisCastro

Summer of 2016 and 2017, we had an outing with relatives in Poracay, a local resort in Pampanga. Aside from having nearly 10 pools, they also have amenities and other facilities that can accommodate small and large groups of customers. These can also cater the different preferences of customers especially those who don't want to swim under the scorching heat of the sun. You may want to know what's inside this resort for future reference once the pandemic is over. You can…

The 90's kid of the Philippines can relate. 😁 This candy, langka ube is one of the 90's snacks I really miss. The last time I ate this was more than a decade ago. I thought this candy is gone for good coz it disappeared for a long time. Yesterday, while I was buying a snack at a variety store in front of the apartment, I saw them selling this candy. I was so happy that I bought 10 pieces of it. I enjoyed the milky jackfruit and purple yam taste of this candy. It brings back…

I miss Caleb dearly. This photo is the best shot he ever had. He's so cute when he's standing like this. Last Easter, I edited his photo and turned him into an easter bunny. The first picture is the original photo, the second one is the easter edit. I used my drawing tablet to do digital drawing in Medibang software. I put the text and autoshapes using Ms Word. I tried basic digital drawing to bring Caleb to the wonderland and make people smile with his cuteness as the…

Pearly shell 🎶 from the ocean 🎶 Pearly shell 🎶 sexy catto 😸 I sometimes stare at his photos and laugh at his funny sexy poses. As I look at them, I came up with the Hawaiian idea. I imagine that it will suit this sexy picture so here goes PicsArt editing app to the rescue. The sexy cat wears his stylish costume to send us a happy #Caturday greeting the sexy way. 😽 May his sexiness be with us all. 😸

@KrisCastro

Sexy cat got tired from partying and performing the Hawaiian dance last #Caturday so he's in a deep slumber now and of course, he never fails to do it with style. 😸 His creativity strikes and now he turns the hollow blocks into his bed and the woods into his pillow. He started to love sleeping on that spot since it's elevated. This is how he benefits from our house renovation. More places to sleep for him with all those construction materials outside the house. Sleep well…

Myths vs. Facts about Health Some of the mentors we have in the business venture I am in are in the medical field. Aside from our corporate pharmacist, these mentors conduct trainings about health too. Mindset is everything and having the right mindset and attitude in all aspects including our health is very important because health is wealth indeed. We have to take care of our bodies if we want to enjoy life and be able to perform the important tasks we have to the fullest.…

@KrisCastro

Another training I have attended is about health. Mindset is everything and it has a big impacts in everything we do. We are taught to develop the right mindset and our mentors conduct several trainings for that. One aspect is about health. In my new article, I'll share what I learned about some myths and facts about our health that helped me improve my mindset towards it. Here are the details about it https://read.cash/@KrisCastro/myths-vs-facts-about-health-36b55de5.

I got the solar emergency light I ordered online. It's my boyfriend's suggestion coz he's thinking about an emergency light in case there's a black out. The price is cheap at 163 Pesos including shipping ($3.26) yet it functions very well. It has a built-in solar panel that's why it can be charged either by USB cord or solar energy. It is dimmable too. You can choose from five modes of brightness. I'm very happy about this item. I can use it as a lamp when there's a black…

Marky got himself a new toy. My niece gave him this bear for his additional toy. He likes it better coz this bear is bigger and softer and it's easier for him to grab. He really won't hand it over even when he gets tired playing like a kid who clings to his toy. You have to trick him so he won't notice. That's how my niece was able to keep the toy. So adorable. Marky's kiddie spirit is showing. 🐶

@KrisCastro

Hongkong is actually the first ever international travel I experienced way back November 2009. Mom gave our whole family a treat there coz she saved her earnings from her side job. Unfortunately, the external drive where I saved the pictures of this travel has gone defective before I can even buy a laptop back then. I tried to open it to transfer the photos to my laptop but it won't work anymore. Good thing I was able to keep some souvenirs I bought there. This 11-year old…

Health is Wealth: A Basic Understanding About Health The learning continues as our mentors and corporate pharmacist discuss another topic about our health. This topic made me realize how amazing our body performs and how wise our creator is for designing our bodies like this. This time, I'll share about the basic science behind our health, the right practices for a healthy body, and the benefits of a healthy body that was discussed to us during the training. A Little Science…

@KrisCastro

Health is wealth and I started to have a deeper understanding about it when I attended another training about health. This is the powerpoint slide that was shared to us. I saved it for reference. In this training, our mentor and corporate pharmacist discussed about the basic science behind the function of our body at the cellular level and the best practices that can help harness the optimal function of our bodies. This enlightened me on the wonders that our body can do.…

While I was buying my snack a while ago, I was surprised to see these goats on the loose. They roam around the street and I don't know if they have an owner. I took a shot while they stop in front of a house. They were looking at me since they saw me walking. They walked after that and they stopped again when they found some grass in the street. They just relax and eat. At least they don't harm people. They quietly roam around and I hope they return to their owner where they…

Our Cutie Caleb and Some Facts about Bunnies How did Caleb Come and Go Last quarter of 2019, my sister's secretary in her clinic gave my nephews two baby white bunnies with red eyes. They named the female bunny Misty and the male one Caleb. They look like twins. The only difference is that Misty's legs are a bit yellowish compared to Caleb. Unfortunately, Misty suddenly died before she can ever grow up. We don't know why. Caleb is the only one who survived and grew healthy.…

@KrisCastro

One afternoon, I came up with the idea to make a simple art to spell Caleb's name out of fallen leaves as a tribute to him. At first, he can control himself while I was like "Not yet Caleb, don't do anything". 😄 I know how excited he is to devour those leaves. He's starting to sniff them and there you go, he enjoys munching his food art. I took his photo as fast as I can before a letter is gone coz he eats really fast too. As some of you have read the stories of our dogs and…

This blockbuster #Caturday, our sexy cat stars as Dyesebel 😸 yes, he's a celebrity today. Dyesebel is a famous local show here based on a local fantasy novel and was a blockbuster show about a mermaid. I can't remember the story clearly since the last time I saw it was a long time ago, around my childhood years. Several actresses of different generations played that Dyesebel role since the show had several versions like movies and tv series. Our sexy cat won't miss his…

An Untold Cinderella Dark Story As we celebrate the Halloween season, I came up with the idea to write my series of dark and horror articles weeks ago. I'll have them materialized for this entire week. My Halloween series will be comprised of three articles. This first article is about the untold dark story of one of the fairy tales that became part of our childhood, Cinderella. Personally, this was my favorite fairy tale in my childhood. Little did I know that decades…

@KrisCastro

This Halloween season, I decided to have a week-long celebration by posting a few Halloween themed contents both here and in read.cash. I'm starting off with this fairy tale that became part of our childhood. Did you once dream of being an elegant princess marrying a prince just like Cinderella? This is personally my favorite fairy tale when I was a kid. Four months ago, I never expected to hear a dark version of Cinderella's story. I was surprised yet I'm not sure if it's…

@KrisCastro

I just realized something in my 3 months of stay at the apartment. This is the 2nd floor, above the unit where I stay. It's been vacant for a long time. The landlady has been keeping it vacant coz she plans for her family to stay there when she gets old. No renovations for that one so far. I'm just hoping that spirits won't lurk around there since it has been vacant for a long time just like what happens to abandoned structures. Well, Happy Halloween to us all.

@KrisCastro

Rapunzel's Vicious Tale Rapunzel is another fairy tale that surely became part of our childhood. Some of us may have a childhood dream of growing a beautiful hair with the same length Rapunzel has. Disney even brought life to this fantasy in its 2010 animated movie, Tangled. Just like Cinderella, I also heard of a dark story about this fairy tale and just like Cinderella, I'm not sure if this is a fact or just a conspiracy too. Disney's Sweet Version Just like Cinderella,…

@KrisCastro

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, lay down your hair. Sounds familiar? Some of us may have dreamed of a long, beautiful hair similar to Rapunzel and this memorable fairy tale may have been one of the child's play we had and I'm sure Disney's "Tangled" added more inspiration to this. Surprisingly, I saw a dark version of this just like Cinderella and all the other fairy tales out there. As part of my Halloween series, I am sharing this dark, vicious tale here…

Pieces of Creepiness that Once Scared the Hell Out of Me One thing I love about Halloween is the tradition of horror marathon in televisions. I love watching horror movies as we celebrate this season but only during daytime. It gets in my head if I watch at night unless I'm watching with someone. I like horror and creepy stuff but only in movies, not in real life. Never in my wildest imagination did I ask for a real life horror but it seems there are times that it's…

@KrisCastro

I love halloween and the horror movie marathons associated with it. I love watching them but I never wish they happen in real life especially to me. But it's perhaps inevitable for us to have a fair share of real life horror where we are the main characters of it. I never thought I would have such experience coz I'm not sensitive to paranormal things and I don't have the so called third eye or sixth sense. But guess what, I experienced them in my childhood, teenage and adult…
