I saw another view from the aviary of Villa Alfredo's resort. It's been 8 years since we've been there and I'm glad that I still have this photo saved in my laptop. I saw it while organizing my files. This is the only resort that has an aviary. The only one I've seen so far, which is unique. You have something to do if you're not swimming for a while. This is the biggest area of their aviary. No cages here and it's amazing that the birds here don't escape. Looks like they are used with this environment.

Oo kakaiba sya. Yan pa lang ang nakita kong resort na may aviary. May libangan kung ayaw umitim sa swimming hehe.
I'm quite surprised. They aren't caged then why don't they escape? Or is that some sort of canopy?
Maybe because they are comfortable there. They are well fed and taken care of.
Yeah that sounds logical. Birds tend to stay in places where food is readily available.
I remember meron din aviary sa lugar namin. Binili nila ibon namin kasi bawal daw kami mag alaga ng endagered species na ibon. Meron kaming heron before, isda lang talaga kinakain nya binili lang ng 500 pesos. Almost 3 feet na ang tangkad nya pero di paren maronong lumilad kasi baby pa

I agree, aviaries seem kind of unusual for resorts to have. It’s also the first resort I’ve heard that has one. But I think it’s a good asset. It’s something unique that people will want to visit. For some reason, it reminds me of the last safe place they found in the movie Bird Box. :)
Ako nga din eh yan pa lang ang nakitaan ko ng aviary. May aquarium nga din sila. Wala lang ako malinaw na kuha. Madami ka malilibot. Pampalipas oras na din kung di ka agad mag swimming.
