Bitcoin Cash Adoption: Whose Job Is It, Anyway?
Have you heard the short but meaningful story of Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody?
Here is the story:

The story is simple and clear: everybody presumed that somebody will get the job done but in the end nobody did it. No one in the team, household, organisation or establishment took responsibility so nothing got accomplished.
This story plays out a lot in my community and country in general. Come to Nigeria and you'll find so many abandoned projects. Visit some public establishments and you will find depleted buildings and unusable facilities. In many establishments, especially public organisations and companies, there is a culture that lacks responsibility, accountability and morals. Most workers only sign in to work and sit around waiting till month-end for their salaries.
How do you get everyone to take responsibility for their work to avoid having your team become **Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody,**
**As a Leader**. If you are a leader In any establishment or group, you should **lead by example** so you become a role model to the people you lead. Effectively **communicate** each individual's roles to them, don't make assumptions that they know what is expected of them. Set standards and give people a clear target, make regular check-ups and provide the necessary resources and support needed to achieve the set target. In general, be solution-driven, praise performance (and give incentives), lead from within and be the first to accept responsibility for failure and be the last to accept credit for the success of teamwork. Don't allow the four individuals (everybody, somebody, anybody or nobody) to stop your team from achieving the set goals within a reasonable timeline.
**As an employee or team member.** You should be disciplined, honest in all your dealings with team members, dedicated to your work, trustworthy and persevere in a difficult times. principles and ethics shouldn't be things of the past. We should be solution and goal-driven, money or benefits should be the main focus. We have to work as a team, supporting each other towards achieving the common goal of the team or establishment. The work shouldn't be left for somebody, or anybody, or nobody, everybody should collectively put effort towards success within a reasonable timeline.
**Now let's take this to the Bitcoin Cash community.**
Whose job is it to promote bitcoin adoption, anyway?
Should we leave it to @MarcDeMesel who donates to support the growth of bitcoin cash powered projects and startups? Or to Simon who started read.cash and noise.cash to distribute BCH to as many people as possible? Or to the few individuals who have started one project or the other to propel the mass adoption of bitcoin cash?
In our capacity no matter how little, we have a role to play in achieving the goal of the Bitcoin cash community - the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin Cash. What have you done, plan to do or is already doing in that regard?
We shouldn't just focus on how much we earn on read.cash and noise.cash among others or how much profit we'll make from the growth of the BCH market. Yes, that's important. But let's assume BCH fails today (which I can't envisage happening), what will you then earn from noise.cash and read.cash? What will happen to the money you've invested?
Marc is wealthy and maybe a philanthropist, he is also ~~a businessman~~ an investor who has invested a part of his asset in BCH. He'll want Bitcoin cash to succeed which in turn adds more wealth to his portfolio.
So if BCH succeeds in future, he profits from it, so do you (if you are holding).
Meanwhile, as we wait for when that day will come, let's promote the growth or BCH as we earn and invest. We'll all benefit from it.
The job is not for somebody, it's for everybody. Let everybody work collectively in their capacity towards achieving the BCH community's target.

Bitcoin Cash: Some People Prefer to Suffer Thirst
The saying;
*You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink*
Simply means that you can give someone a good opportunity or make something easy for someone to do, but you can't force them to take it or do it. Even favourable circumstances won't force one to do something one doesn't want to. The choice of action is always theirs and some prefer to suffer in thirst.
You can lead someone to Bitcoin cash (and even give them BCH) but you can't force or make them avail it.

*David's flatmate and coursemate James is struggling to pay his rent and make ends meet in school. He is in search of ways to make money online or offline. **Bitcoin Cash Is for everyone, not for anyone.**
Everyone is allowed to have BCH, but not everyone will have it.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try to convince someone to take advantage of an opportunity, it ends in futility. You did your best, but their mind is already made up. They may be polite enough to hear you out and even contribute positively to the discussion, but deep down, they don't care what the opportunity you preach will offer them. You've taken the horse to water, it's up to it to take water or suffer thirst.

If Bitcoin Cash Doesn't Make me Money, I Don't Care
A couple of days ago, I filled an application form to join the Club1BCH family. One of the questions asked was:
***How are you going to promote BCH to others?***
The easiest way is to preach the Bitcoin Cash gospel to your family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and just anyone you have the opportunity to strike up a conversation with. I also added organising seminars to teach people about BCH and the potentials it offers. Then, link up with other Bitcoin Cash enthusiasts in the country to create a massive awareness campaign for BCH.
The latter will require some resources and financial input which I can't afford at the moment. So I started with the first and easy one, promoting BCH to the people around me.
The first friend I promoted bitcoin to isn't into cryptocurrency, so I tried to convince him with the idea of privacy, security, peer-to-peer payment, low transaction fees, fast and reliable transaction and more.
"Privacy you say, but I've nothing to hide. Only a crook would want such privacy for his transactions. I have nothing to hide."
"Also my money is secure and I used very strong password for my digital and mobile banking apps and also sending and receiving from my bank apps is fast and easy"
"My life without cryptocurrency is fine and comfortable, and I'm okay with that. I don't have time for all the drama and risk that comes with cryptocurrency".
My attempts to convince him was futile.
Then I decided to promote BCH to someone who is already into cryptocurrency. At least it would be easier since he is already taking the 'risk'. I know him to be a Bitcoin BTC enthusiast. During my discussion with him, I realised he had BTC, ETH, TRX, BNB and a few others in his portfolio. But no BCH. I tried to convince him of the value BCH offers over BTC and ETH - fast and low transaction fee, scalability, and how BCH price is still low and the possible profit he can make when it hits all-time high among other reasons.
" I'm comfortable with the speed and transaction fees of BTC and ETH. I'm holding them and don't use them often. Even if the transaction fee is much, I can easily swap them to coins like TRX or BNB on Binance that also offers low transaction fees. I have numerous altcoins and shitcoins which has the potential of making me a good profit during the bull market. BTC and ETH are my security assets..."
I couldn't convince him too. Perhaps I'm not good at this or am just unlucky with the people I have promoted BCH to.
The other day at a football match viewing centre, someone sitting beside me said to his friend (and probably roommate).
"Mek dis guys play goal goal, so we fit win dis bet, see moni pay for our rent ooo...befo landlord go vex sey mek we pak comot house".
That's Nigerian pidgin. In summary, their house rent is overdue and they placed a sports bet with the hope of winning some money to pay their rent.
Both teams scored at the end of the match, and they had one more game on the bet slip. They were excited when the second team scored.
I had a conversation with them after the match. We exchanged greetings and discussed some of the events from the match. Then I asked;
"... Are you on Facebook or Twitter?"
"Yes." They responded.
"Do you know you can earn money (in cryptocurrency) for doing the same activities you do on Twitter?"
I could tell they were interested.
I explained the basics to them. Told them about BCH and go they can earn it on noise.cash and bitcoin cash. One had his phone on him, so I guided him on what to do. He installed a bitcoin.com wallet and signed up on noise.cash for a start. The other promised to do the same when he gets home. We exchanged contact in case they needed assistance.
Before we departed, I showed him how to send and receive BCH on the bitcoin.com wallet. I sent him $1 worth of BCH and asked him to send $0.50 back to me. So he left with $0.5 in his wallet. They were very happy.
I was very happy. I got someone on board. We have been in touch since then and one plans to create a read.cash account soon.
In the end, I realized that **the main reason that people would want to switch to BCH or adopt it is if it makes them money.**
Many don't care about the privacy, security, autonomy and other promises of BCH, they want something that can earn them money and add value to their lives. And Bitcoin cash can do that and it's already doing that.
Through read.cash, noise.cash and other projects, Bitcoin Cash is positively impacting a lot of lives and helping people around the globe.
For the time I've been active here, I've read a lot of testimonies from numerous users about the positive effect BCH brought to their life and that of their families.
**Food**. Bitcoin cash has helped a lot of poor homes to get food. It has empowered some of us to help put food on our table and the table of others. I once read a post on how one user distributed foodstuffs to the less privileged in her community with the BCH she earned from read.cash.
**Shelter**. Someone shared how his shelter was threatened because he was late on dues. And before the deadline to been evicted from the apartment, he was able to earn enough to pay his rent. Others have shared similar tales.
**Education**. We have a lot of students paying tuition fees and getting their basic needs as students with their BCH earnings.

In general, Bitcoin cash has helped improve the quality of life of the common man, changed lives and provided for people in difficult times. And much more.
No one can deny the value BCH offers.
So, if you are thinking of promoting bitcoin cash adoption in your community, keep in mind that using the BCH mantra of privacy, security, low transaction fee, reliable payment and P2P won't be as effective as offering them a project, product or service that will earn them money.
Club1BCH: The One and Only Virtual Family
I signed up to this platform about a year ago, the days of the point system. Then there was no read time on articles and little to no attention was given to the length of a post (Now a post with a reading time of not less than 3 minutes is recommended for your post to get into the good tipping book of the bot.
As it clearly stated in its post;

**Back to my early days.**

Why do I want to Join Club1BCH?
I love to be part of something great. Family is always dear to me and I love a big family, this one offers that. I always like the idea of supporting and encouraging others to achieve a goal or be a better version of themselves.
Bitcoin cash is the only cryptocurrency that I know and hold at the moment. Anything that avails me the opportunity to promote its adoption is always welcomed.
How do I plan to Promote Bitcoin Cash?
Right now, the only way I can promote BCH adoption is to promote it to my friends, family, colleagues and any other person I can reach. Then when I earn enough BCH, I can organise seminars and also link up with other BCH enthusiasts in my country to create massive awareness in our various locations. I have already invited someone to Join noise.cash. that's the start of more to come.

Going into every campaign in the past couple of years, I have always been optimistic of a better year, a year to celebrate the team lifting a major trophy like the EPL cup or a European cup (the Champions League or Europa League), but all we got was disappointments and FA cups.
Brandon Sanderson said that
Expectations were like fine pottery. The harder you held them, the more likely they were to crack.
So I find life as an Arsenal supporter a lot easier the lower I keep my expectations. For if you keep your expectations from someone or something low or totally off, you'll not be entangled in disappointment.

Before the 2021/2022 campaign kicked off, the Gunners were at the top of the league standing, I've searched that area but I can't find them. At least they shouldn't be far from the top zone, should they? Oh, sh!t, I just found them....
You can see them right? At the bottom. And they are likely to remain there or go even further down the table after game week three.
The Expected Disappointment

On a lighter note, you can sometimes cheat death, rarely cheat taxes (one can avoid taxes depending on location), but Arsenal disappointment is 101% reliable.
The post in the image may be true for an Arsenal supporter. But if a fan is disappointed then he or she is not aware of the position of the club at the moment - 0 goals, 0 wins and 0 points from two games, and a likely zero goals and zero points from their first three games of the season (They face Man City next - a battle they can't come out victorious) are what is to be expected. For me, I'm not surprised at the turn of events, the Arsenal process is drowning. The disappointment joke is for those with high expectations, my expectations are so low that I wasn't disappointed.
How did I become an Arsenal fan

Since I became a fan, the club has won only the FA cup, no major trophies. Within the same period, other top clubs in the league like Chelsea, the Manchesters (United and City) and Liverpool have won the league title and also a European cup (except Manchester city - who has won the EPL four times within the same period). Is Arsenal forbidden from achieving similar?

Being a Nigerian is already hard enough, supporting Arsenal complicates it. Truly, how do I equalize? Perhaps I should port to PSG or Chelsea? Well, the truth is that I don't have it in me. This marriage seems to be a lifelong commitment, in strength and weakness. Till... ~~we part~~.
Last Outing - Arsenal vs Chelsea
It was 90 minutes of torture. Totally outclassed in every part of the play. Maybe when the club solidifies its relegation position that's when the board and fanatic supporters will see a FAILURE. I don't expect much from the next outing, it could be worse than this.
Closing Thought
Having acquired the services of Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Nuno Tavares, and Albert Sambi Lokonga it's quite okay to say that the club has been busy in an attempt to 'rebuild' the squad.
Arsenal may have signed five players already but how many of them will improve a squad that finished in the 8th position last campaign?
While Arsenal chose to spread 129 million pounds on 5 players, teams like Chelsea got one new addition, Romelu Lukaku, of £97.5 million to an already strong team, and Manchester City acquired the signing of Jack Grealish for £100 million.
The pressure is building, and the team's performance is far from competing for the big trophies.
The management, manager and players all have roles to play in turning the team's disappointing start to a fruitful finish. The sooner they turn around their fortune, the better.
I don't think I have the smarts for it
Have you ever being a situation where you want to try something new but ended up not doing it? And when asked, "why?" All you could come up with is the simple reason is that "I don't think I don't have the smarts for it".
Some people think that they need to be very smart to earn money digitally, but in reality, you don't need to be as smart as you may think.
So far you know how to use your gadgets effectively and dedicate quality time to it, you can make so much money digitally. People that are less smart than you are making millions online.
Bet me on this, when you finally give it a shot and the first thousand you earn drops in your account the only regret you'll have is why you didn't start earlier.

GW2: The London Derby
Down the years, the *crème de la crème* of London derbies may have been the North London derby matches between Arsenal and Tottenham hotspur, the showdown between Arsenal and Chelsea is another exciting derby to look out for in the English Premier League.
Arsenal started the season with a disappointing 2 – 0 defeat by EPL newcomers, Brentford, at Brentford Community Stadium, in the first match of the season. On goal on either half of the match from Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard ensured Brentford went away with all three points.
I was not surprised (and I can bet no one was) at the result of that encounter, The Bees deserved the win. It is a new season but the same old Arsenal. Nothing changed, no obvious improvement.
On the other hand, Chelsea started on a strong note with a 3 – 0 victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, with goals from Marco Alonso, Christian Pulisic, and Trevoh Chalobah.
The London Derby: Arsenal vs Chelsea
Today, Arsenal hosts Chelsea at the Emirates stadium in the 9th match of gameweek two. With their form, Chelsea will enter this match as favorites and I bet they would leave with at least a point.

My Fantasy Team
Three players in my Fantasy Premier League team, Marcos Alonso, Smith Rowe, Romelu Lukaku, will be playing in this encounter. I hope they put in a good performance and earn me some points.
**My Prediction**
Chelsea won Arsenal 2 – 1 few in a friendly match a couple of weeks ago and come into this match as favourites and I won’t be surprised if they leave the Emirates Stadium with all three points. Both teams will like to record at least one goal.
We have few hours to kickoff, I will leave for the viewing centre in a few minutes to watch the match. I hope the Gunners puts in an encouraging performance even if they don’t get to win the match.
Where Did All the Money Go?
Four days ago, after I recharged my phone from my bank for an internet data subscription, I checked my bank account balance and the amount I saw gave me emotional juice.
I couldn't help but ask myself 'Where did all the money go?'
Though I know where my salaries go, still I took a peek at my account statement, and the last 10 transactions were all debits, no credit transactions in between, not even one. The last credit was for my salary which came 23 days ago.
First was a recurring transfer I make to my mum on monthly basis. So immediately my salary is disbursed, the set amount is transferred to my mum's account. If I don't support my first love, who will? She needs it for her upkeep. I didn't want to come short in any month so I made it automatic.
Another recurring debit is the part payment of my sibling's tuition fee. I had an agreement with his school to pay a small sum of the termly fee every month over three months (each term last for about three months). The termly school fee was split in three, so I make one-third of the amount every month so that before the end of each term I would have completed the fee. The payment on instalments reduces the impact the school fees would have on my salary if paid once.
Then, there was a debit for DSTV subscription, payment of electricity bill, among others.
Living Paycheck to Paycheck

I'm literally living paycheck to paycheck - all my money (monthly salary) comes in and 80% of it goes right back on before day 10, then all before the end of the month. This wasn't so bad at first. After all, I'm taking care of family responsibilities and staying on top of bills. With time I began to have a rethink.
What happens if I lose my job today? Even if I don't lose my job, I'm not getting any younger. Soon I'll be thinking of marriage and other responsibilities will be added to the ones I already have. With all the bills and expenses I can't afford to save any money and there is no way to look to the future.
At the moment I can't live outside my budget, I can't go for a vacation, I can't take an extra bottle of drink for fear of not having enough till the next paycheck.
I'm Tired of Waking Up to Debit Alerts
Living paycheck to paycheck may seem "not so bad" with everything being equal. But one little 'life happens" moment which is outside my control can make every plan and budget crash down. The thought of this feels me with dread.
Who says I've to settle for the "not so bad"? Though I'm stuck in the paycheck to paycheck cycle, I don't have to stay there. I need to look to the future, I need an extra breathing room with my money. And I need to gain financial security.

I already have a solid budget and I know where my salaries go. Bill. Food. Payments. Transportation. I keep my family and I fed, provide basic utilities and have enough to get to work till the end of the month.
Every month, I live below means while sticking to my budget. So my lifestyle and budget is not a problem. What I need right now is a way (s) to increase my income. I need a side hustle.
My work doesn't give me enough hours to get another job that requires my physical presence. So what I need right now is a work-from-home or online job. Good thing I've got a smartphone and a working laptop.
Driving for Uber would have been a good option if I had a car, it pays well here. I've been searching for online jobs. While on it, I thought 'why not give read.cash another shot?' Here I am about 6 months after my previous post. I hope it pays off.
Living paycheck to paycheck can feel like getting stuck in a cycle - like running around a football field track and returning to the starting point. I keep going around and around and never getting anywhere.
I need to make a move and think one step ahead. I have imagined a life of financial security where there is no fear of extra necessary expenses. I need to think about my future goals and focus on them.
I know it would be slow, hard and some days I might want to give up. When this happens, I need to remember why.

Music to be Murdered by
After years of futile attempts to gain admission into the university, **Alfred** decided to give up and try something new after his last attempt. This time he put a lot of effort into preparation for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examination. This examination is compulsory in the country if you wish to continue your education at higher institutions. A good score improves your chances of being admitted to your university of choice. But Alfred seems to be unlucky each year even after scoring above the cutoff mark for admission.
He would have been offered admission if he had applied to a university located in his state or within his political region of the country. The university and course he applied to were competitive, and also his state of origin is outside the University’s catchment area. So his chances at admission have been slim from day one. That is his dream university and he wasn’t willing to give up on that dream yet.
*“This time,* ***I will*** *be offered admission”*. He often muttered to himself as he prepared for the examination.
His plan this time is to score way above the cutoff mark, a mark that will ensure his name on the first list of admission.
*“Alfred,* ***You Gon’ Learn*** *time management and how to be calm and composed during the examination”.* He thought to himself.
He always feels nervous in the examination hall, which affects his ability to concentrate. In the end, the time will run out with some questions unanswered. Even at that, he still scores high. So being able to answer all the questions in time would do him some good. This he had to work on and he did.
Fast forward to the examination date.
He was assigned to take his examination by 11 am. His **Stepdad** drove him to the examination venue.
*“That fear and nervousness that disturbs your performance during the examination, try to* ***Lock It Up*** *and you will excel.* ***Farewell****, my son.”* His stepdad said before he drove off to work.
At 10 am, they signed in to the examination hall. His seat number was 213. He located it in no time, as the numbers were boldly written on the seats. Within minutes all candidates were seated, and they still had 15 minutes to the start of the examination. He took that time to put his feelings in check. He also used the convenience to ease himself. Now he is confident and ready for the exam to begin.
“You can start now”. The supervisor shouted.
He entered his registration number in the space provided and commenced the exam. The first few questions couldn’t have been any easier. Within 10 minutes, he has already answered 30 questions. He was impressed. In the previous examinations, he would have answered just 15 to 20 questions within the same time.
But it seemed someone somewhere wasn’t happy at his good pace. At a point, his computer started to lag, it took a few moments than usual to highlight the selected answer. Though the system resumed its usual pace, it left him with a strong feeling that something unpleasant is about to happen. His **Premonition** came true.
First, the monitor of the system turned off. I forgot to mention that it was a computer-based test. He signalled the technical officer, who checked and realized that the monitor’s power cable has damaged. He replaced it with a new one. Time wasted.
Like that wasn’t enough, minutes later, the mouse stopped working. He looked around but the technical officer wasn’t in sight, so he signalled to one of the invigilators.
“What is the problem”, the invigilator asked.
“My mouse stopped working”, Alfred responded.
“There is nothing I can do for you, try using the keyboard”.
Alfred was more comfortable using the mouse. He tried using the keyboard, but it slowed down his work, and he doesn’t have all day.
Though he could have helped Alfred fix the problem, the **Unaccommodating** invigilator, refused to be helpful.
Luckily for Alfred, a couple of minutes later, the technical officer walked by and he laid his complaint. In no time, the man returned with a new mouse and replaced the faulty one. Alfred thanked him and happily continued at an increased pace to manage the time left to answer the remaining question. He finished before time and cross-checked his answers. He clicked the submit button when he was satisfied with his work and quietly left the examination hall.
With the challenges he finished on time, there will be **No Regrets**.
This time, he was offered admission.
A few weeks later he was already on a bus to school. They were entertained with food, drinks and movies. The first movie was **Godzilla**. He didn’t watch the subsequent movies, he preferred to list to his favourite rap album, **Music to be Murdered** by Eminem. He selected his favourite tracks. He started with **Yah Yah**, followed by **Little Engine** and **Leaving Heaven**.
Their bus broke down on the road. They had to stop to fix the problem. It wasn’t a quick fix as the mechanic had to travel to the nearest town which was about an hour from where the bus was. Everyone waited patiently. Alfred took that opportunity to have a shit. He walked **In Too Deep** the nearest bush and did his business close to a **Marsh**.
After some hours the bus was repaired and they continued their journey.
**Darkness** caught up with them and he hates travelling at night. He remembered the tales of accidents and robberies during night journeys. But this was not **Those Kinda Nights**, as they arrived at their destination safely. He slept at the park and left for school in the morning.
Today, Alfred is a 200 level law student with a couple of years to graduation.

Joining the Fantasy
In the last couple of months, I've been so busy that sometimes I forget to follow up on some activities. Well, this time it's not something so serious. But how did I forget to create a team for the Fantasy premier league? Now, I've missed out on game week one.
I happened on a post by @PVMihalache regarding a league, "The League of Crypto" created by the #Club1BCH community, ~~whatever this community is about~~. The post linked another post by @Crackers and @bmjc98 regarding the said league competition created for the read.cash community. I think they are the core organisers of the #Club1BCH League of Crypto. Reading their posts juggled my memory.

It's not too late
With no time wasted, I visited the fantasy premier league platform to create my team for the campaign. I already had an account that I created during the previous campaign. My performance last time out was poor. It was my first try and had a lot to learn, and I did learn. I want to believe that I've got the needed experience to perform better this time.
My Fantastic Team
Choosing a team took longer than I expected. No thanks to the limited fund and the increase in the price of some players after Game week one.
But one good thing that came out of joining the league a week late is that I had the opportunity to study the matches from Game week 1 which gave me a glimpse of the current performance of the players in each team. With this info, I was guided on my team to start the Fantasy Premier League in Gameweek 2.
**The clean slate**
Well, this is how the squad selection started, on a clean slate.
I had the option to select two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards. The first player I selected was Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, then Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea. I had to pause after a glance at my balance. These guys were worth around £12 each. That's about a total number of £36 and I just have £64 left to get 12 players. I took my time to select the rest this time. Had a miss of cheap players especially at defence and players within 5 to 7.5 price tag.

After several tweaking of my team, I came up with a team.
Looking at my selection now, I would probably make some adjustments before the game week two deadline. This is my team at the moment.
Joining the League of Crypto
After creating my fantastic team, I returned to PVMihalache's post to join the league via the link. After joining I was shocked to see that some managers have already got over 100 points from game week one.
Wow! I will be playing catch up.
I found myself on another list "New Entries". The consolation was that I'm not the only one on the list. So I'm not alone in the catch-up game.
How you start a race is important but how you'll finish is more vital.
I look forward to my first game week and the performance of my team in the rest of the campaign. See you guy at the top.
Never Give up: Results Cancel Insults
You’ve gotta normalize following your heart and head rather than what people say or command you to do because, in the end, you’ll be responsible for the result of your actions and decision. Don’t follow the crowd, always listen to your heart and take decisive actions.
A year ago when I started writing articles for bloggers and also doing other online gigs, I get to spend more time on my laptop and indoors. My dad was the first to scream at my “laziness”. He sees my stay-at-home job as a joke. He would prefer a job that will have me dress smart and leave the house every morning to return later in the evening. He wants me to go out there, struggle with my mates and earn a living.
Some ignorant neighbors and some of his friends nurtured the thought that I was into cybercrime. Well, they couldn’t comprehend why a young man would spend most of his days indoors with his laptop. This got my father even more worried. I had to explain what I do to him, he pretended to understand but I could tell he still preferred I go out job hunting or engage in something that doesn’t have to do with using the laptop and being in the house.
It got to a point that he couldn’t take it anymore. I was not contributing financially and there are days I collect money from him to subscribe to internet data. There was a day he threatened to break my laptop if I don’t go out there and get a job.
I decided to leave the house often. So I agreed with a friend to stay at his place during the day and leave towards evening. That reduced the pressure from dad.
So months later, I started earning some money enough to subscribe to internet data and contribute to the family upkeep. Dad became happy.
Some day he asked where I was working that pays me enough money to take care of my basic needs and still support the family. I told him the truth, that it was still the same online job. He didn’t complain this time, at least it’s paying off.
He was shocked when I confidently gave him 200 dollars to help pay for house rent. This amount was from my online gig income.
To date, my online hustle has helped the family financially – house rents, siblings' tuition, and other bills. My father has been proud of me ever since.
My advice to you are:
Follow your heart
When you find something you love doing and you are good at it get it started. Don’t let the words of friends and family, who don’t appreciate the value of what you’ve started to prevent you from moving forward with it. Of course, you can always listen to their advice and suggestions, pick the ones that are valuable to you and discard the rest. You know yourself better than them, and you know what you want and the goal you wish to achieve. Don’t let anyone deter you from living your dream.
Don’t Give up
To be honest, there were moments I wanted to give up. I spent a lot of time online and I could barely make enough money for an internet data subscription. Not having anything to show for the hours coupled with the pressure from my family, I almost gave up. But I didn’t. I kept pushing.
So even if it doesn’t pay at the moment, just keep at it. One day, your hustle will pay.

I like football (soccer). No! that was an understatement, so lemme rephrase, I love football. And today, I am a proud Arsenal fans. Though they have not won any major trophy in since 2004, and they can frustrate someone to an extreme, they are still my favorite. Guess that's what loving someone or something means, you stick with them through the good and hard times. I don't just watch and support, I also play. A Dog Lover
Place a dog and a bag containing $10,000 worth of BCH, and I can only save one, I will surely save the dog. Yes, I love dogs that much. But hey, BCH is digital not fiat to be contained in a bag. Just saying...
My love for dogs started when I was a kid. Dad got a dog, we called Sweet. He came into the family as a puppy, and my brother and I had a play mate. Sweet grew into a big cute and protective dog. Always there to scare the bullies away from us as we grew. He was later killed by someone in the community for allegedly eating his turkey. It was a sad moment for us. But we moved one with the memories we shared. And at the first chance I had, I got a dog, Murphy. But I had to give him away to my Uncle when I had to relocate to a new state. I will surely own more someday, when I am ready and can provide good living environment for them.
I don't just like dogs. I live animals in general. Two days ago I visited a friend who has a small goat farm, with about twenty goats. I met him feeding them, so decided to help out. While on that, a kid (goat offspring) kept following, not for the food, probably for some play and petting. When I bent to pick up something, it jumped on my back and literally sat there. I had to carry her, she was cute and lovable. I play with her for quite a while, and now I have fallen in love with goats 😁😁😁. I'm gonna get myself some goats...
**The BCH Dream**
I have a dream, that one day, I will own more than 1 BCH. I then had a dream about publishing an article similar to this and it received a generous tip from someone here that made my BCH dream come true. I was about to check the tipper's name unfortunately I was woken by my phone alarm, I nearly smashed the f*ck'n phone for cutting my dream short (apologies for the F word).
Though I just registered on the platform today, I have visited the site severally and read lots of articles days before I decided to sign up.
I have no crypto at the moment, this platform is my first step towards earning some. I will work hard, publish as much as I can with more emphasis on quality than quantity, hopefully, I will receive some gifts from the generous users of this awesome community and also, hope that the bot wouldn't be too " Rusty" to have a raindrop on my articles. My Expectations
I for one, try not to go into something such as this with expectations, so I don't get too disappointed when things don't work out as expected. The Birthday Wish
Birthdays are one of the best days in the life of many. Many have had the opportunity of celebrating their birthdays every year. While others celebrate when it's a new milestone. Like 28 year, 25 years, 50 years and more. However you choose to celebrate yours - flying solo and alone in the house, or out there with family and friends, it will always remain one of the best days of our lives.
My kid brother celebrated his birthday two days ago, so I thought sharing this is a good way to kick off my read cash adventure.
Siblings can be sweet, quirky, supportive, and fun-loving. They can also be annoying, nosy, and even downright mean. But at the end of the day, you gotta love them, not just because Mom said so, but because you can't help it.
The attachment between siblings is far deeper than any other relationship. It is a permanent bond that overcomes fights and rivalry and is filled with love and support for each other.
I have been unemployed since the pandemic, so getting a gift for him was out. So the most obvious way to show him some love is to send him a message on his birthday.
I mentioned my trouble putting my thoughts into words, so I looked to the internet for good birthday messages, that would convey my thoughts. I got points from a few, put them together and got this.
