Hello good people!
A big thanks to you all for the support via your reads, comments, likes, upvotes and SPONSORSHIP. I love you guys a bunch ❤️
Today's blog is all about a lady that was said that she's faking being married in school.
My co-workers(8females) were having a nice time this morning gisting about how male lecturers in higher institutions have been so clingy to the "s^x for Mark" practice. They said all manners, some of them admitted that they've fallen for this trap once and twice because they were left with no option. Should we blame them or we should give them with "they saved their academic future"? As for me, maybe because of my culture and believe, they did the wrong thing even if it's now seen as a common acts in school.
One of them said she was offered with two options; pay N80,000 (around $160) or sleep with the lecturer. She said she had no money and bitterly went for the odd option and her mark was given to her afterwards. I tried to talk her into believing that even if she didn't have that money to give to him and doesn't want to succumb to the lecturer's s%x request, that she would have escaped the said failure. She asked how and I gave her instances of witnesses and experiences I had.
Personally, I have had such encounter, During my schooling days we faced a lot of battles regarding to sorting of lecturers, some lecturers made it a mandatory act of "no sorting no passing"
One of my encounters was when a lecturer asked us to pay money to submit a practical manual (log book). He said if we fail to submit that's means it's a carryover(failure). He was mean to his words and so, my colleagues submitted with money. I wasn't the type that concurs to sorting of lecturers so I refused to pay. He told the few of us that refused to submit with money to submit ours on a different desk and assured us of our failure. With the look of things it's just God, Hardwork for the exam that were left as the only option. We prepared for the exam, did well and when the result came out we conquered it. It was 70% and above. Maybe God touched him to later give us our marks because it's very hard to score 70% without practical marks.
I know of a lady in the Eastern part of Nigeria currently facing this same issue, the amount she was asked to pay is small($100) or sleep with the lecturer but she's refused and had left everything to God.
After telling them all these, they furthered to bring tough scenes of tough lecturer and that was when they brought up the case of the the lady that's faking marriage in school.

The girl that's faking to be married
According the them, they said this lady goes to school with a gold wedding ring in her finger and dresses decently like a working class lady. She's so fluent in English and talks responsible. She's hardly seen with some people so she won't be downgraded. She made sure that everyone believes she's married. She had cute pictures of her & her male elder brother, dressed in same attire possing like husband & wife and other of her siblings as children. With these, everyone know her as legally married and all the respect are being given to her, just few people that are close to her knows her real status.
She puts on the ring in finger immediately she want to enter school premisses and pulls it off when leaving.
With all these no lecturer have been able to intimidates her or ask her for "s*x for mark" because of that little respect of marriage. She enters any lecturers office anytime.
But the other odd side
"Somehow, don't you think she might be blocking her chances of getting close to her future husband?" This was the question I asked my co-workers. I know it's somehow not possible for schoolmates to marry each other but these people around her have chances of recommending her to others but because they've known her to be married. Other lecturers too that are single might not bother to reason her side because "she's married".
What do you think?
Do you think she's acting on the right side?
Thanks for reading
8days to Christmas🎅🎄❇️💞🎅🎄
As for me, I would rather accept to fail than give my money or body to any lecturer. For the lady pretending to be married, it has it's good and bad side.
