Hello People!
My greetings to everyone reading this, hope you're doing good and having a nice week?
My week has been a good one and I'm grateful for that even though money has been running away with high speed. Lol😂
This idea of this blog popped up when I was listening to a radio station. They were talking about politics and what people can do all in the name of politics.
All lot of awful things were said, especially now that the general election in my country is at hand.
I know it's no longer a shocking news about the evil that happens during election periods, the killings, kidnapping and rituals are the worst of them.
But have you imagined a family fight because of election? I'm not referring to an extended family but a single family.
Fasten your seatbelt let me take you on a ride.
Way back at home, I had a funny encounter that each time I remember it, I always bust into laughter.
During a certain governorship election in my state, we had three tough contending aspirants from different political parties which are; PDP(ruling party as of then), DPP and APC.
I was opportuned to be the secretary of our zone(PDP ZONE), which my dad was the leader and the meeting venue was our house. We used to enjoy palliatives from top politicians 🤗.
One day, an issue was raised during the meeting on how our assistant leader was not dominating in his house. How do I mean? His wife and his grown up son belong to the other two different political parties i.e, the wife belong to DPP while the son belong to APC
Normally, it shouldn't be a thing of concern because we have our freedom to politics but the reverse is the case on the man's house.
Let me tell you;
Could you believe that this party differences scattered the house?
At first, it all started when the woman refuses to serve the husband food whenever he comes back from their political meeting. Imagine the audacity!
The man at the other end, sometimes refuse to give the woman money to prepare food as a punishment for the wife supporting a different party.
Should I tell you about the son? The son most times refuse to follow them to farm because he always claim that he's going to a political rally(campaign).
At first when the issue was grooming, we all thought that it wasn't going to escalate because on a normal law, we all have free right to vote on our preferred candidate, but the man made it a must for the family to support his political party. He wanted to dominate to prove that he's the head of the house and he didn't know that the wife and the child understand the human rights.
A situation like this, what do you have to say?
Have you seen such? A family where members are supporting different candidate...
What do you have to say about this situation?
Feel free to use the comment section.
Thanks for reading

My father is in politics for about 6 years now, and it's true there is something in politics that are unjust, but luckily we have some opinions in my family. I hope you will have a smooth election. Good luck )
