I love how religious bodies are adapting to security checks

A breaking news came up yesterday in my country about a guy that disguised himself as a lady to enter a church. He was caught by security guards and they found him to be a man...a very young guy. He was putting on women's hair, a gown and padded br* on his chest. Disgusting, isn't it?

From the news, he's yet to reveal his mission to the said such and he's under interrogation(or maybe they're done with the interogation).

With the way things are happening in my country, everyone is now security conscious because anything can happen in an unexpected way. Following the recent killing in one of the Catholic churches in my country, churches are now security wise to control such incident.

But what would make a man to dress like a woman to church if he has no mission?

Absolutely nothing, he must have gone there for something, either to kill or to steal. Let's call a spade a spade. Or did he go there to seduce men with is hard body(nature)? Lo🤣l. Check below for his photo and see how hard he looks. I'm even softer than him even though I'm slim🤣.

I love how we are leaving the days of old.

I remember the early days of church, a lot of people condemned having securities in church and tagged it "since we're in the house of God, we are safe", but circumstances have opened the eyes of many to see that we need to be security conscious for God to protect us well too. It's recorded that faith without work is dead, so in terms of security, if we believe God to save us, we must be careful also of things that will harm us. Does it means that because I have Faith, I should go and confront terrorist and watch God to save me? Lol. If I do that, God will be waiting to receive me in heaven with open harm. Hahah 🤣.

Around 2014 or so, I remember when the case of terrorist became alarming, Biko Haram (terrorist groups) were bombing any social gatherings especially churches and this became a concern to the nation as a whole. So some gathering centers were shutdown especially the open football arena. If you remember 2014, that was world cup. We were restricted to watch matches and it pained me, the big screen we used to watch matches free was shutdown and it pained me a lot because there was no place to watch match free.

The restrictions didn't stopped there, it extended to churches especially my church because the church is "recognized" and has branches scattered everywhere.

A memo was passed to all the churches from the headquarter to implement some security checks on members before entering the church premises. Some of the tips are as follows;

• Security units increased in Numbers to mount on every door.

• Security unit members check on every bag of members at the gate before they enter the church.

• Ushers check on the pattern of dressing and know where to push such, if the person is dressing rascally, we know where to put such person under the eyes of the security man at the spot.

• Bomb detectors were bought in large numbers to scan each car before entering the Church premises.

It sounds funny, right?🤣. It was really funny those days because we received a lot of insult from members while trying to do our work. Some got pissed off and went back home at some cases. The news of bomb detectors noised abroad and it became the talk of town that so so church does not trust their members that's why they're doing so.

Talking about trusting people or members of any group/church, it's never ideal to Trust people because the world has been like that. Haven't you heard of church members stealing in church?🤷.

It's good how how we are adapting to modern days life, we no longer see having security personnel in church as sin, it's good!

But the truth is that, God is really the one saving us and not even our efforts to be saved. Yes, being security conscious is good and it's far better when God is watching over us.
