How rich is your airdrop wallet?
Special greetings to you all!
April is moving with the speed of light, just few days we greeted happy new month and here we are in almost at the middle of the month. I think this is favorable to the monthly salary earners because the payment usually comes at month end. If you're a salary earner here, it's not bad if you bless us a little when the month ends. Lol🥱.
Today in the afternoon, I was grinding here when a whatsapp message notification dropped, I quickly pushed it down to see because it wasn't a message from the multiple groups I belong, the message was from a friend, begging me to give her one of my Usdt TRC20 address that she want to use to claim a reward. Yeah, she knows me to a certain level that I have series of accounts with different wallets and I wouldn't decline her request. The reason she couldn't use her own was that her Android phone was down and that's where she installed most of her wallets.
I accepted to give her, so I headed straight to my Trust wallet, I have 5 accounts there, I skipped the ones I'm using and went to the last one which is Wallet 5. Opening it, I saw a funny and huge amount lying and enjoying itself. I just busted into laughter. Do you know why? I just remembered the money was from the funny airdrops I did some months ago.
Furthermore, I went to check my other wallets to see the wonders there but getting there, I saw that i had removed them because they were occupying spaces and Making me feel like a billionaire anytime I open my wallet. I decided turned(re-add) On some to feel my eyes. I could only remember two names;
The prices have really dipped, there was a time when these two got to $1,200
Have you come about these recent types of airdrops?
When I first joined the crypto world, the airdrop I met were not like these, you'll find it so hard to get or claim a coin because of the tasks Which were majorly referals. You'd be asked to refer minimum of 10persons to be qualified for the winning (telegram airdrops majorly), but now, this particular telegram airdrops are now simple, simple in the sense that you'd be required to refer a fewer number of people and oftentimes you'll be credited instantly via ordinary joining.
Funny enough, the ones that come with instant crediting are very huge and you'll doubt at that spot if the value you're seeing in your wallet is real or not.
There was one I did early last year, I was credited with a token that has worth of $1,300. At first I was happy because that's the first time I wasseeing that huge amount of money in my wallet. A part of me told me it's fake but the admin of the handles kept dropping updates about the progress of the coin, shouting for people to dive on the presale and ofcourse, People were tripping and anticipating for the end of the airdrop so we would withdraw. But as smart as the admins, they kept dropping updates with different procastinated end of pre-sale event. That was the point I knew it was all fake,,, till today the coin is as good as useless.
Aside this, I've gained experiences on this airdrop world, I've come to know some steps that give signals of fake airdrop, especially the ones that come with "we wouldunlocked 20% in next year and 80% next two years". Once I see this kind of airdrop, I'll quickly pack myself to a corner and delete myself from such zone. Do you know why they placed it like that? So that they will have all the time to canvas and pull out crowed to join the presale, they'll eventually rug and run away with the profit they've made.
I've been wondering, why do reasonable wallets such as binance, poocoin etc. allow listing these scamming coins? They should be a way able to detect the coins without future or with bad plans.
I remember when Manchester United coin came out via airdrop, I got 10,000MUFC and I was happy because the news was everywhere. Just few days interval, the value of the coin appeared on trustwallet and we started jubilating that we've won a jackpot. Few minutes later, the price went to the Moon🚀🚀 and my 10,000MUFC hit $200+, yeeeey! I was so happy and at that point I was not ready to ready to withdraw because I learnt from the lady I mentioned earlier, how to hodl.
Little did I know that the coin was not withdrawable until some expected Month. That day, their Twitter handle was blazing and showing photos that they came out at the top of a major wallet as one of the trending coin for the day. Few days passed, we met a 'sweet' rugpull. The price disappeared on trustwallet, and I know the people succeded with their target.
I know this MUFC wasn't from the main MANCHESTER UNITED but from individuals that want to make money via dubious means.
when talking about airdrops, I'm a beneficiary but not that big. I've earned a good sum from airdrops. It used to be sweet then but now, the reverse is the case due to sc*amming.
Disclaimer: The article you just Concluded reading is not in anyway to see wrong message to the masses. This is based on my personal opinion, thank you
A big thanks to you all. You guys have been my backbone here and I'm heartily grateful.

The problem is that quality aordrops are now becoming rare gem. Every now then new airdrops pop up from no where, but the real one that'll make you some cash doesn't come so easily. Majority is crappy and with malicious intentions.
