Recently a friend of mine told a story about a korean drama or kdrama. She is a fan of kdrama. She was so happy and excited that encouragement me to watch it because of the lessons I can get from the movie and how deep the story was. She was really encouraging me to watch it and so she won. I watched the 15 episodes of that kdrama and I must say I never regret watching it. The title of the movie is "It's okay not to be okay" and here are some of the lessons I learned and I just picked some of them.
Lemme start😊
She is the main character of the movie. She is a book writer who has a short temper in everything. Her story was based on her own experience. Being blind eye is not literally blind but it is blindness of telling the truth that when you see what happens or you witness the happening but you still shut your mouth you are worse than the killer, criminal or whatever it is. Neglecting the truth is a common problem today because of money. Hypocrite people are the ones who blind their own eyes.
He is the main male character. He is a caregiver in the hospital and he takes care of his older brother. He is the only person who can control the temper of the main character. He said that line to the girl who is ready to do an action towards someone. Our anger and emotions can lead us to be impulsive in decision making. We tend to act without thinking the consequence will be. Counting one to three will help us to calm our nerves and remind us to control our feelings and emotions. It is a very effective strategy together with inhale and exhale to make him more relaxed.
He is the brother of Moon Gang Tae. Despite his condition, he still stands as an older brother. This line is very real. Our body is very honest when we are tired we get some rest, lack of sleep our body will automatically sleep and when we are hurt or wounded our body will feel the pain. But our heart is a liar that even if we are hurt deeply we still manage to smile like nothing happens. Our heart will not speak unless it is in too much pain. No one knows what your heart carries because we are great pretenders on handling our heart pains. Imagine, from heartbreak can still smile and stalk that person even if the heart will bleed into pain. That's how brave our hearts are.
Lastly, the psychology doctor and the owner of the hospital. His lines remind us that we are still human to feel the pain, getting hurt and sad. It is normal to feel those emotions and feelings. What is not normal is not letting yourself to feel those emotions because of fears. When you are tired then rest and relax but never give up. It might be a failure today but tomorrow will be another story of success. Too much pretender will lead you to not knowing yourself more.
There are many more lessons that this kdrama taught me. I experienced tears, laughter and sadness because the movie was really deep and the character really nailed the emotions. Also, I cannot deny the fact of being kilig on their tandem. Every story has something deeper what we see. Despite the happiness on the face we dont know the deep of it. Let us be kind at all times.
