Some of you here might be thinking I have forgotten to always ask about your well-being that isn’t even true. The only reason I skip the greeting sometimes is because I want to stay spontaneous with my writing from time to time. I don’t want a situation where when you open my read you can already predict the first few 5 lines. I want you to keep you guessing until I start the topic proper.

That being said, let us get into the topic proper. Now these phrases or quotes were selected by me from different songs I have heard over the years. I will be putting them down and trying to see how best I can explain what they mean.let me know if you have listened to any of them . So let’s go ..

Okay so this would mean that most people would cheat and treat their partner badly intentionally not necessarily because they have had a bad experience with love before, juts because they want to and because they are humans.

I told her “don’t rush girl” “don’t you rush it” it is all a game of patience

Song by pink $weats Title;- Honesty

This is a very sweet song especially for new lovers. This line just means you can’t rush love. Often times love happens unexpectedly and if you try to force it yourself it will never work and even if it does work it might likely not last.

“Baby .. I’d walk through fire for you just let me adore you “

Song by harry styles Titles;- adore you.

This is a beautiful song for a person trying to express pure and unconditional love. If you are seen the video of this song it is about a love between styles and a fish he found in an aquarium I think. The fish grew too big to be kept as a pet so he constantly had to change the fish aquarium to something bigger. Eventually it got too big and he had to let it go to the big sea because the locals wanted to catch the fish and maybe kill it or hand it to the government for research. At the end of the day he got the fish in the big sea and he was very happy but also very sad because he would miss it.

Anyways the song is centered on unconditional love and that lyrics says it all.

The first line “I go sleep for cell” is pigin English which is a language well spoken in Nigeria. It means “i would rather be jail if loving you is a felony”. This is line is funny to me because often times people say they can go to jail for their lover but it is not often the case but also it is a sweet line that expresses true love and true sacrifice for a person you love. No matter what you have to feel a deep affection for a person to want-to go to jail for a person, so I think this song and this lyrics is perfect.

Fun-fact; most of my female friends tell me that this particular song reminds them of me. I don’t know why but okay.

“I get shy when I look at you but I no be bolo”

Song by fireboy dml Title:- Energy

I remember the first time I heard this line I was like “nah.. this man can sing” because I was so wowed by his creative. Now let me explain for non -Nigerians. The word “bolo” means “ dumb person” or someone who is not smart. Now most people would liken being shy or not outspoken to being not so smart or sharp in the part of the world. So when someone is a kinda shy or gentle people might refer to him or her as “bolo”

Now using it in a love song that way means… he acts like he is stupid in front of her because he loves her deeply but it doesn’t mean he is actually dumb in real life. Get it ? Nice lyrics nice song.

And for my final line..

“When I look in your eyes I believe my life is complete”

This is one of my favorite song of all time. And this line is like a summary of the full song. This line express finding one’s complete self in love. This type of love is deep and goes very deep into our very existence as humans and living souls. To find completion of yourself in another. I love this song you should listen too.
