We are experiencing a major changes of our lives. It change the way how we communicate with others. Physical communication is being less and the way we social with others also change that we must follow social distancing. The way we live has change.

Last day, I talked to my friend in messenger. Saying "Hello" and "How are you?" towards one another. She said she's fine and our conversation got long because we have lots of topic to talk about. Trying to catch things up. In the middle of our conversation, she said that she supposedly going home here in bicol but something unexpected came up. I asked her what was it, and jokingly said to her that she should not delay her travel going back here so that we can personally talk what's happening with our lives. She started talking about this unexpected reason why she can't travel for the meantime.

One of our friend, her co-worker, is diagnosed as Covid-19 positive. What she said really shocked me! I asked her multiple of questions. I got goosebumps and totally shocked from what I've heard. I was tongue-tied and can't think of a proper reply.

First, how did it happen? Because as far as I know, they are staying at their workplace. Did they go outside being not careful? Or are they meeting other people outside or in their workplace? But again, knowing their boss being health conscious and meticulously following the health protocol, how come she still got infected?

She told me that this friend of ours has been experiencing Covid-19 symptoms around month of March or April, she's not sure. She can't taste the foods nor smell any fragrance even the alcohol. After showing signs and symptoms, she was being isolated and quarantine in their workplace, while the others are sent to their home to prevent the spread of the virus to everyone.

Ever since then, my friend who's telling be this story was sent to her home as well and quarantine herself to make sure she does not been affected. Thank God after 14 days of self quarantine she is safe. But this friend of ours is still under isolation. They didn't contact any medical experts who can professionally tell them that she is really positive in Covid-19. They just assumed because of the signs and symptoms she experienced.

What this friend of ours do, is drink vitamins and make herself healthy. And after that she get back to normal.

Months passed. They continue their set up as work from home for everyone's safety.

And this Month, end of their contract and they all planning to go back here in Bicol. As being issued by the government, anyone who wants to go back to their provinces must undergo swab test for everyone safety. Swab testing is worth a minimum price of Php. 3,000+ not sure though some testing facilities, laboratories and clinics rates are different. But there are some government agencies gave free swab testing.

So, this friend of ours went to free swab testing together with her co-worker, and they got tested. They got the result earlier than the said schedule. And unfortunately this friend of ours is said to be positive in Covid-19 while her co-worker is not.

This friend of ours was got by the ambulance and was sent to quarantine facilties. Her co-worker on the other hand was being quarantine and still under observation for 14 days. This friend of ours doesn't show and symptoms when she got tested, that's why they are wondering how it happen and still they didn't find answer to their hows.

Based on my friends story, I concluded that during the time she shows symptoms, it was the time that she reallu has a Covid virus. They didn't just address it because the symptoms gone after a weeks or months. They thought that it was just their mere assumptions. But when got tested, they finally realized it.

Lucky, there's no contact of any other workers except the one who accompanied her to take the test.

My friend chatted this friend of ours if she is okay, and she said that she's fine. She doesn't feel any abnormal or weird her body, that she wanted to go home but unfortunately she can't.

I leave a message to this friend of ours, asking if she is okay. Knowing that she is alone and might think of anything that is not good to her health, I wanted to talk to her and have a conversation. But she refused to start a conversation to me. So I can't properly ask her how she's doing and how's her health.

I just hope and pray that she is fine and she will recover soon. Please include her to your prayers.

Asymptomatic xa kya she's not showing any signs and symptoms. She must be fine, lets just hope na negative ang susunod na test nya.
