Examples of male nouns.

When you set "ie" or "un" before a noun,it means the noun is feminine or masculine. French nouns are either masculine or feminine.
Examples of female nouns
The following are feminine nouns that take the indefinite article "une".
Une face-a girl
Une femme- a woman
Une jupe- a skirt
Une e'tudiante- a female student
Une chaise- a chair
Une table- a table
When the object is not known between the audience and the speaker we use the indefinite article but when the objects is known between the audience and the speaker we use the definite articles.
