Many smartphone users, most especially users whose phones work on the Android operating system (OS) do not know the names given to the various Android versions.
Android, owned by Google, is a mobile operating system based on a modified version of the Linux kernel, it is designed primarily for smartphones and tablet.

In the year 2005, Android was bought by Google which was making operating systems for smartphones as well as digital cameras and named their versions in alphabetical order according to desserts names.
