Five Days To Go Before The Final Countdown.

As we all can see for the past months this year there's a lot of hot topics going around the country and I can say that politics is the hottest among them all. A lot of individuals planned to try the world of politics and as a result a lot of opinions came into social media creating a huge misunderstandings and conflicts between friends and organizations. A lot of people, groups, companies was bashed, cancelled, criticized by many commentators. It created a lot of headaches to certain individuals. Such actions by my fellow Filipino citizens created divisions among us and I see it as a huge negative impact when it comes to POLITICS.

It's a sad reality we are in right now. For me by the means of POLITICS it should be the way for the mass to be united, fighting for one VISSION and that is to create a better country for the Filipino people. Being united is already in our blood and we already demonstrated it basing from our history we learned in our textbooks such as the thing called BAYANIHAN. We are being praised by other nation because of this and it became a trademark for us Filipinos. Now that the years passed by, these kind of things about the Filipino nation are slowly fading away and it's sad to say that it's all because of POLITICS and other factors.

Five days to go before the election and on May 9 we will again make the decision to elect our best choice for the Philippines to be better. There's a lot of hearsays I'm hearing as I go to the canteen here in our place and in town also that some of the politicians here in our province already made their move to court the heart of my fellow Novo Vizcayano by the means of giving cash amounting to 500 to 1000 pesos or $10 to $20 per head of the voters within the family. What a bad way to court the people. That's how I see it and I don't know how about others see it.

2nd day of my grandfather's burial.

One of the candidate running for mayor here in our town came to visit and to share his sympathy with us. That's what I thought since he said at first that he's sad for the sudden death of my grandpa but as he and companions takes time talking to us infront of the coffin, his spokesperson inserted the topic about politics and he said many things. Things that are not good about the other sides and good things about them. Well that's not new anymore in the world of politics.

What made me angry is that when the candidate bring out his campaign paraphernalia containing his visions and platforms when he was lucky to be elected, he reached it out to the hands of my grandma then said This is my platform mother, while showing us two five hundred peso bill. What a disgrace and an insult to my grandfather. His burial should be plain mourning and will not be tainted by politics.

I was irritated and walked out. I called the sister of my grandpa that if possible they should leave immediately before I can do something they will regret. She talked to her friend who recommended the candidate to go here. She told him that if possible they should go away. His friend called the camdidate in his cellphone and without saying a word to us they leaved.

Can you imagine how irritated I am in that moment. Haystt. He's running for position to be the leader of our town and he did something like that. He's even a retired police general and to be honest my respect for him gone low. If they are sicere in giving help to us, they shouldn't hand the money directly to my grandma's hands and say this is my platform, my goodness. They should just put it in the donation box and list their name there.

Politics is very toxic now but I still believe that by the means of politics especially election, we can choose the leader who will lead us and make a better country for our fellow Filipinos to live in.

Make a better decision now before the date of election because it's hard to think in that actual voting day. It's not good to just choose random individual in the ballot without unmasking his or her true identity and vision for the country.

Author's note

No matter what your choice for the upcoming election, be sure to be responsible for it and not whine afterwards when you see that there's no progress happening. We have only one chance to choose and we have to make sure that this election, the voice of the Filipino people will be heard and will dominate the result of the election and will not be swayed by evil forces hiding im the dark especially foreign.

Hoping to have a peaceful and fraud free election. Thank you for reading this article of mine again friends. See you next time.

That's rude, improper and unsympathetic. The motive of that candidate was made known. I hope he will not win.

It's a form of disrespect. How insensitive they are for bringing up politics in that moment. How could they.

What's on their mind is all politics till the end. They can't set aside it that's why many politicians can't win if that is the kind of strategy they have.

All of us has the same goal to have a better place nor better country but our choice has no unity that is why elections are headed. But as what we can see politics has been dragging others down by knowing own choice. So now lets keep praying that those who will win, will have a good heart to serve the countrymen.

Wala din po sanang dayaan na mangyayari unlike sa mga past na elections. Lalo na sa panghihimasok ng mga ibang pwersa galing sa ibang bansa.

I do believe that Filipinos will vote for the right and most deserving candidate for 2022 elections. But seeing the recent surveys, I am quite disappointed and sad.
