A dream worth fighting for.

Once upon a time I had a dream of a young boy who live in a remote area located in a country where when you achieve something people will pull and drag you down to the ground. People who will get jealous on someone's achievements. People who will taint your identity because they don't want you to be higher than them.

That boy live in a world where people's mind had been infected by the virus called crabby mind. That young boy live in a world wherein you need to fight in order to survive. He live in a world that has a prize for everything. Even a glass of water is so expensive. Even the air they breathe has a prize.

Despite the ugliness of the world he lives in, that young boy has a dream that is worth fighting for.

Dreaming is not bad but it can be bad if it will remain as a dream forever. In this world we live in , you can create the path you will take in order to reach that dream and make it into a reality. It may be a diffucult path leading to that dream but as long as it is worth fighting for, you can do everything as long as it is right and you will not harm other people.

The young boy has a dream since he was a kid. That dream is to become successful enough in order for them to break from the curse of poverty. He live with his grandmother and grandfather. His parents had already passed away. He grew up without a parents beside him to take care of him. He didn't experience the love of parents for their child.

Poverty has been the most unsolve problem in their country. Each year the prizes of their daily needs increases. By this sudden increase of prizes each year is one of the burden to the citizen.

His grandparents are too old for them to find a job. So he don't have a choice but to work as early as 8 years old. In their school, he worked as a part timer dishwasher in their canteen. In his world there's no age limit when it comes to job. As long as you know the job , you're already qualified to take the job. As long as you are committed to the job, you can stay and take the job as long as you want.

That young boy did this in order to succeed in his study in terms of financial. He did this kind of job for almost 4 years when he was in highschool. He endured all the body pain and all the criticisms from his classmates. Some of his classmates are infected with crabby virus. They want to drag him down but he was persistent to make his dream come true.

Since he was a kid, he likes to play with soldier statues. He owned many toy guns. His dream is to become a soldier someday. He wants to serve the country and earn a decent money. He knows that the path he will take is not that easy and he knows that he may die in the process. But all the doubts didn't win to consume him. With all the danger he know, he still persue to become a soldier. A proud soldier.

Despite being poor, this young boy has been gifted with great mind. He was a consistent honor student in his school. His hardworks pays off when he graduated in Grade 12. He was the validictorian. At that moment he made his grandparents very proud and some of his relatives. You may wonder why some and not all his relatives are proud? Because some of hia relatives are infected also with crabby virus and they are jealous to the achievement of that young boy.

When he completed grade 12, he immediately apply for an application at the Philippine Military Academy. He had all the requirements that are needed fkr the application. He was enlisted to take the exam. After that he reviewed for the exam for almost 2 months before he applied.

He took the exam and all his efforts in preparing was not in vain because he passed the exam and he was granted to move to the next stage which is the Physical Examination. In this stage, your physical aspect will be tested and also your mind. He's been toning up his body for that day and despite all the difficulties during the Physical exam, he passed it.

His journey continues inside the academy wherein his mind, body and soul will be tested. Just like in the normal school, inside the academy you will also take 4 years in order to graduate and become a full pledge soldier. He started being in the lower rank and along his journey, he strived and strived.

After 4 years of studying and under training inside the academy, finally he graduated and not just that. He also belong to the top 10 in his entire class.

His grandparents were able to watched their final ceremony as graduates and full pledge soldiers. At that time he was so happy and cried. He reminisced all the hardships he went through. He smiled then looked up in the sky. He uttered Ma, Pa , I'm a full pledge soldier now . I wish you were here beside me to celebrate my success".

Atlast, after a long journey. He suffered so much pain along the proccess. There are people who tried to bring him down but they failed and now they had been silenced by the success of that young boy.

Despite the bitterness of the world he lives in, he never gave up on his dream and he fight for it till the end. Friends just like this young boy , we all have our dreams that are worth fighting for so don't hesitate to fight for it. Reach it and make it a reality.

Now, I am waiting for the results of our Teacher's Ranking, hoping that I can finally become a full time Teacher.๐Ÿ˜Œ In God's time and will..๐Ÿ˜‡

Wow, he's awesome. The poverty and those criticism by those people na kahit sariling kamag anak ee kaisa. He's the bravest, dahil din sa positivity din nya kaya naabot at nakuha nya kung anong Meron sya ngayon. If I'm his mother naku, sisikapin ko talaga na maipag handa sya kahit lechong manok ๐Ÿ’š. Di sya nag give up basta basta diba. Giving up is never an option for him. Poverty didn't stop him for dreaming, and that's just wow ๐Ÿฅฆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
