Why trust matters at work

Good morning guys, how are you doing today? I trust that you're doing very great. Let's quickly review yesterday's article.

We’re all very busy with life, work and even distractions, but nothing can be compared to spending quality time laughing with your friends, sharing stories and memories of old times.

It’s always the small moments of laughter and bonding that matter the most. And most times, we end up regretting these moments because we missed them. It's easy to forget that our lives is a gift and a miracle, we allow the pressure of life make us think otherwise.

It's possible for us to get back lost money or materials, but we can never get a second chance of certain moments of our life. The time we spend with family and friends is a precious commodity that we should not joke with because we can never get them back once it’s gone. Technology has not yet found a way to turn back the hand of time or give a second chance to relive some moments in the past.

We will always have plenty of excuses for not spending enough time with the people that we love as we can always use our work schedule as an excuse.

Whenever you choose to spend time with your parents and friends, you should not let your mind wander about instead of enjoying the conversation that you’re having with them and enjoy your time with them wholly. When you're out with friends, you should enjoy the moment and listen to the conversation going on. It's possible for you to spend time with someone special and still think of all the things you need to do instead of enjoying the company of that person.

Learn to enjoy moments. You only live once, make sure you enjoy when it's time to enjoy.

Trust is the foundation of relationship with leaders. In fact, trust should define your relationship with them. Trust is what allows you to focus at work, instead of worrying about how the tasks you accomplished would be received by others. Trust is what enables you to give candid feedback about what you think could be done to improve the shared systems and processes. Trust is what leads you to take a new strategic direction for the organization, even though it means going against the wishes of the boss at that time.

Over the course of time, I’ve experienced the power of trust, and how it can increase productivity and create a culture of excellence.

One of the most important lessons I learned from this experience is that trust does not evolve naturally. You have to build it—and sometimes rebuild it—from scratch. And when you do, you’ll see its power to transform your team’s culture in ways you never expected. Here’s how to do it:

Define trust. There are many ways to define trust, but the definition that resonates most with me was offered by a Stanford professor: “Trust is the expectation that arises within a community of regular, honest, and cooperative behavior, based on commonly shared norms and on a belief in the community’s capacity to deliver on these norms.

Thanks for reading through. I hope loved it.

Trust is really one of those things that should be preserved and maintained because a single event may change your relationship with a person forever.

Whatever place maybe or whenever it is, trust is very important. If trust doesn't exist in work then it's hard to do the job.

Can broken trust be built again? Can a trust which is broken once be built again with much intensity? I would like to hear the answer from your perspective Jerry, If you share your personal experience it would be more helpful or if you know any real case in your acquaintance.

Hmm. This is very rare. Most times the trust cannot be the same it was the first time, even if it is built again

you said it is very rare, that means there is chance right. That's enough to know.

Trust in work is very necessary to work in a pleasant and growing environment. Without trust one can't give their 100%. It's a slow but a great long lasting investment at work.

Without trust, it will be uncomfortable at work. You cannot enjoy doing your job because you're mind is busy looking out for yourself because of not trusting the people at work. With trust, you cannot feel any pressure, and everyone at work will be productive working harmoniously.

Yeah trust is really important because without it you won't be able to make your works to the fullest because you will always have doubt about your leader or with your team.
