Whenever I get bored and don't know where to go anymore on my phone, I check Twitter and look for interesting contents. I have followed several accounts and they haven't failed me so far.
Aside from going back and forth to Youtube and Brave Browser (for read.cash and noise.cash, which I spend most of the time to), Twitter has been a friend lately. Although it is a source of toxicity sometimes but not as worse as Facebook that's why I seldom use that social media platform, to be honest.
So I found interesting photos on Twitter that I thought would be worthy to share because they speak a lot. Here are some of them:
Today's Society
As soon as I saw this photo, I can't help but reflect on how the society influences our decisions, and people not wanting to exert efforts. As seen in the photo, the majority of the people share the same decision which is to take the escalator.
As for me, I can see two messages this photo is trying to imply: letting the society dictate your choice and laziness.
Letting the society dictate your choice.
We know how big of an influence a society can be. Some greedy people will take advantage of your innocence, others may bribe you to do something you are not in favor of but with the extreme need of financial assistance, you are forced to do so. It has something to do with societal pressure as well.
This also applies to us choosing the right people to lead the country. Just because the majority of the society chooses that person, doesn't mean we made the right decision.
Laziness
We fail to make our own decisions and we always look for something fast and easier. Yes, the more the merrier but did it ever cross your mind that when you share the same path as them, the road becomes crowded and that makes it harder for you to progress because nuisances and distractions are there.
As humans, it's normal for us to choose what's easy and accessible but it depends on the weight of your purpose whether you are willing to take the risk by yourself or be with many people but full of toxicity and judgments.
I think it's better to take the challenge alone and exert effort climbing up than choosing the easier way but you're together with toxic people.
Poor remains poor.
This is such a heartbreaking photo. This speaks substance.
The high towering walls and the barb wires represent the hindrances of the people to get out of poverty. I know some of you would say that poor people remain poor because it's their choice. Well, some of them, yes. They choose to remain that way but you can't take that away to those people who are striving their hardest to get out of their horrible but they are just deprived of opportunities.
Sometimes, it's a matter of opportunities. These privileged people chilling on the other side of the world are a representation of how far and powerful wealth can lead you. They contaminate the poor people's minds and gain their trust, then take advantage of their power.
This also shows us how blinded we are to the truth. They manipulate us that they are serving well in their own ways but the truth is, they are just creating stories for us to believe in.
Enough with the sad realities and let's go to something inspiring.
Your Bricks to Success
How do you handle your failures? Do you carry those like a burden to yourself or do you use them as your stepping stones to lead you to something victorious and worthy?
Definition of success is subjective. This means to say that we define our own success. My success may not be your definition of success and your success may not be my definition of success.
It's a matter of choice. It is your choice to use your failures as burdens or materials towards success. The thing here is that we get overwhelmed by the negative situations bombarding us and we fail to look at the brighter side.
Your Journey to Self-Appreciation
Life may be unfair to you, everything may not make sense to you but always remember, you have your own worth.
"People throw rocks at things that shine" as Taylor Swift said in her song, Ours. People may give you labels and such, they have their own version of truth but your truth will always matter the most.
As long as you know your truth, everything else is not deserving of your time and energy. Always believe in yourself that you can do better than that. For you know to yourself that you have that skill to be shared and you can serve as inspiration to others.
You may be handicapped, physically challenged, or mentally challenged, please know that there has to be something special in you that others would appreciate and wish they do also have that.
It could be a gift in singing like Fatima, the famous blind singer in the Catholic church who has an angelic voice, a person with no hands but can paint a meaningful canvass, or you could be Stephen Hawking, a famous author or Nicolas Vujicic, a motivational speaker who has tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs.
While writing this article, it humbled me to appreciate every single thing I have in my life. Many times, we forget to counter sadness into positivity but that's how life should be. Let's choose to be happy. Life may throw us a lot of challenges but let us not let ourselves get stuck and focus on the problem, instead let's look for opportunities and create solutions.

Keep safe everyone ❤
