Why Others Get so Lucky? A raffle draw is being held in a gymnasium. Let's say 5000 participants submitted their entries to the draw and only one gets the grand prize. How can that person be so lucky? Is that person deserving to win? Why him and not the others we think are more deserving to win? Well, winning in raffle draws is purely based on luck and chances. It also tackles about the strategy you put into that event so you have better and higher chances of winning. It's about the effort and the risk you take to make things happen. **Let's** apply that in our lives in general. Most people would often see the person's achievements and successes they have attained. What they don't know about is the journey behind those successes. I must say, what's most rewarding is the learnings you've gained along with the suffering and pain you have been through. As people say, **they are only seeing the tip of an iceberg.** They weren't there when you were crying the whole night heartbroken, discouraged, and depressed because of failures. They weren't there when you almost went crazy trying to figure things out believing that there was no way out. They weren't there when you get insulted and judged by people because of the decisions you made for your life. **They only see the harvest time**. They don't see how much planting you have gone through over and over again, trying and trying to make things work. The amount of sacrifice and hard work you had to put on, putting yourself off to succeed and be one's instrument towards other people's successes. And then they will tell you "***you're so lucky because of this and that, you're privileged, you're not going to worry in life that much anymore".*** So is there a formula to be lucky? Are there qualities that a person must have to attract luck? You wanna know why? Because I wanna know too. Well, I must say that there is such a thing called luck like how the universe plays with your emotions on a certain day. Things just happen out of luck. But if we dig deeper to discover the true meaning of luck in life, I don't consider it as one though. I consider it as a **blessing**. Prosperity never happens in just a snap, that's too ideal. People were prosperous because they never stopped planting their seeds. No matter how many times the drought or floods ruin the plants, they never let the situation crucify them to stop and just accept what it is. They keep moving forward. They don't understand the decades of planting to make things possible the way they want them to be. I have mentioned in my late articles about the right time to give up. I have enumerated a lot of factors there to consider but if your situation doesn't fall into those factors then you should keep moving forward. The moment when you decide to keep moving forward is already something to be proud of. You took that courage that will lead you into success. And when you look back, that's when you find yourself connecting the dots. Everything will make sense. You will realize that everything must have happened for a reason. Maybe it was not meant for you because something better is waiting for you. I got inspired writing this motivational article because I was asked to finish and contribute a few stanzas of an unfinished song. It's about doing everything, whatever it takes to achieve your dreams. Is it bad to desire for greatness? I don't think so. This article went too random as I go through. I had the time to vent everything out and prove that greatness is subjective.
