Laura and Noah (Love story Part 2) *A/N* *It's been a while since I wrote part 1 of this love story. It was my first time writing a love story at that time and think it wasn't catchy so I'm thinking of editing it a bit, tried to make it look more interesting. While I was reading the article, it felt kinda off, honestly. No emotions at all. Not unless you are in the same situation as Laura, you would say that the story shows no excitement. It was exciting in my head but I didn't realize I wrote it so boring. It never bothered me that no one engaged in it. It's still my story and I'm still proud of it, well sort of. But I decided to leave it like that. It's always nice to see my progress when I back read my articles. I mean, I assume, I'm better at putting emotions now in my stories. May not be the best but I'd like to think I'm better now. You can read the first part here:* **https://read.cash/@Jdine/laura-and-noah-love-story-e8cbacf1** *The story was left hanging. No ending. Not even a clue what happened what happens next. So, I want to try to make the sequel. And let's see if I justified the story now. (You be the judge of that or maybe just keep in for yourself if you didn't like the story haha) So, let's get started!* I should be happy now that I met Noah's family. But their stares are killing me. I knew from that moment things will go very horrendous. Noah noticed it too and looked at me confused. His mom clenched her fists in anger. His younger sister clenched her jaw trying to control her temper but failed. "What is she doing here?" she asked Noah in a very stinging tone. I lowered my gaze, I couldn't look at Noah. I just can't. "Why? What's happening?" he asked his sister anxiously. "She tried to ruin our family! And She's trying to ruin in again, that's what's happening! She made Mommy suffer! She was Daddy's mistress!! Get her out of here!" she yelled. I managed to look at Noah and I saw him staring at me dazedly. I haven't told him yet about my past. About my work before. And now it haunts me in a very unexpected way. "Is this true?" he asked me gently. It was so gentle but it breaks me. "I'm sorry," I didn't bother to answer the question directly but I know he gets it. He knows we have a lot to talk about. His mom and sister still yelling at me to get off their property. His dad asked Noah to just take me home. He was holding his wife and daughter trying to stop them from attacking me. His youngest sister was in the corner shocked. I was trembling, crying, and apologizing the whole time. Noah took me by my arm and led me outside to his car. We drove off to a hotel as it starts to thunder. Like heaven shouts for pity for me. I was still trembling when we checked in. He let me sat on the bed of our hotel room and gave me a bottle of water. "Honey, I'm here." he comforted me. I cried even more. I know he must be bewildered right now but he kept his cool and didn't judge me based on what happened. I hugged him and cried on his chest. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't know." I pleaded. "Shhh, shhh..." We will talk when you've calmed down" he said gently. "Do you want something to eat?" he asked while wiping my tears off my face. "Or drink?" he smiled to comfort me. I hugged him tighter and he hugged back. It was very comforting. I never want it to end but I know I have to tell him the story eventually. I closed my eyes and felt his love. This might be the last time I could do that, especially after I confess. I have to and I know the sooner the better for him to know. I know he's hurting right now as well. I know he has lots of questions in his mind. I know he deserves to know the truth. I exhaled and let go of our hug, still, tears are flowing. I can still hear the thunder outside but the beating of his heart is louder than the thunder. I let go of our hug and looked in his eyes, "Let's have a drink and talk. I think I need the extra courage I can get with alcohol now, " I said as I was trying to sound calm. "Are you sure?" he asked. "Yes, we need to settle this now, you deserve it," I answered. He ordered a meal for us and champagne. He poured champagne in my glass and I can see that he's also nervous as much as I am. I don't know how he'll feel about me after I confess and but I'm hoping he'll hear me out and understand me. I figured I should take a shower first before we eat and drink. I don't think we'd have time for it later. I don't even know what's coming. I told him I'll just take a shower while we were waiting for the food. "Do you want me to come" he teased. I just smiled and turned back. He knows it's not the right time for that. As I shower, I couldn't help but think about the incident in their house. I think of the possibilities of us breaking up. I can't think of other ways how he can make his family like me if ever he decided to pursue our relationship. And maybe that's one of the reasons why I also want to talk about it now. Maybe I also want answers from him. He waited till I'm done and he took a shower too. While he was taking a shower, I noticed his phone ringing. I looked at the caller and it was his mom. Just when I was about to grab the phone and give it to him, the call stopped. And there I saw missed calls from his mom too. He must've not answered the call while I was taking a shower. He must be waiting for my confession first and talk to his family. It gave me a slight hope that he'll understand me or at least still trust and hear me out. When he came out of the shower, I told him his mom was calling. He smiled, "I know. I'll talk to them, just not today. I'll let them calm down first too. Dad's there, he knows what to do." We're just eating and drinking for hours now, trying to find the perfect timing for us to go deep in conversation. I still feel guilty but he has his ways to always make me feel comfortable. It was like, nothing happened. He was still the same Noah that I fell in love with before the incident in their house. I tried to conceal my guilt by smiling and laughing. Trying hard not to spoil the moment. We laid on the bed and watched a movie while drinking when I thought it was the perfect time. We can pause the movie for now, I guess. I hugged him and cleared my throat. He caressed my hair. I slightly closed my eyes and started the confession... A/N OOOkaaay! I did it hahaha. I did the second part. I thought it's a bit long and might become boring for readers so I'll have the confession at part 3. 😅 I'm guessing you have an idea of what the confession might be. Isn't Noah just lovely? I mean, does he even exist in real life? haha, I wonder, though, how will Noah take the confession... Let's find out in the next part. :) Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe if you liked the article! :) Also, I want to share with you guys this community where you can get sponsored and be rewarded by participating. I highly recommend the community. It's is hosted by @Ashma . Here is the link: https://read.cash/c/get-sponsored-2a0b I am also hosting a giveaway to encourage writers to write good content in horror/thriller genre. You can check the details here: https://read.cash/@Jdine/birth-month-giveaway-123e28a9 ***Thanks again to all my sponsors and supporters!***

Does age really matter in a relationship? This is a very intriguing topic, I must say. It will divide the readers depending on their beliefs. Many will say "***age does not matter in love***" or "***love knows no age***" but we can't deny the fact that many couples are being judged based on the age gap of their partner. ***May-December love affair*** as others calls it. This topic also opens the question, "***why is it okay that men date younger women but older women should not date younger men?***" Relationship topics can be really tricky and complicated. I think in some ways, this kind of relationship can actually work. One is more mature than the other. But mind that maturity does not always come in age. Sometimes younger people tend to think more logical or practical than older people. Which I think is very important in a relationship. That's why my thoughts are also divided if age really matters or not. For some, age is one of the least factors in a relationship while for others, age is a very important factor in finding a partner. Well, technically, I can say age can be, yes, a factor. ***You don't want to date a minor when you're an adult. That's against the law.*** And some people would prefer older partners so they can have a more mature relationship. Age will **not** defy the relationship. No matter the age, people can be manipulative and childish. It all depends on both you and your partner's understanding with each other and it depends on the person itself if he/she is matures and ready for the relationship. I have friends who have partners years younger than them. I asked them about this topic and they said that their partners may be younger but they are more mature than my friends are in terms of a relationship. My friends may have more experience in relationship but **their partners' maturity** is what keeps them intact not the experiences. But there are also people who suffer from their partner because of age-gap. Some older partners become more **manipulative** that it begins to make the relationship toxic. And some younger partners are too **child-like** that it may seem like they're dealing with their kid instead. So basically, ***it may or may not work.*** *It's a case to case basis.* No matter the age, you should be fully committed and ready before you get into a relationship. You should know that being in a happy relationship takes a lot of work. It's not like a fairy tale movie where you get everything you want in the end. This is why I am saying earlier that I think, it depends on the person's commitment and maturity. Although you can't deny the fact that being older makes you have more experiences that you have learned from. SO I'm having divided thoughts on this topic. **What about you? what do you think? Does age really matter? Let me know on the comment section below what you think.** *Also, you might want to try and check out this community where you can get sponsored and reward you for your activity in that community. It's a great community that encourage you to write more quality contents and engage more to quality articles as well. It's moderated by* @Ashma *who's also known to be very generous. ❤Upcoming article announcement❤ Hello everyone! 😊 Jdine here again... I'm currently writing my new article entitled "Chubby girl's heartbreak"... This is a fiction drama/romance story and I hope to see you all in that article. It will be posted hpurs from now. It's 3am here and I think I need to sleep first. But it's almost done. I'll continue when I wake up. Stay tuned!
How do I celebrate my Birthday (Entry) I'm thinking of ways on how I celebrate my birthday every year. My birth month is January. Days after the New Years Day, I celebrate my birthday. I can say that it won't be as lavish as some people celebrate their birthday, given the fact that you just had two major celebrations before your birthday. All your sources are used up. haha.. I'm okay with that, though. I still loved it being a simple celebration. Anyways, I celebrate it with my family. No one is excused. They should all be there. We cook, *okay fine*, THEY cook early in the morning and have fun and sing in videoke as early as they, *alrigh*t WE can. We sing on top of our lungs. No one can stop us especially me haha.. We drink and dance. My husband always takes a day off and do as I say for the whole day. That's a tradition. I start the day with prayer. We go to church and thank God for another year. I end it with prayer as well, before I go to sleep. Being thankful for all the blessings. Usually, the "tradition" my husband and I have lasts for a week... That's days before my birthday and days after my birthday. I become childish most of the times during that day just to 'feel' it haha So that's it. That's how I celebrate my birthday. :) Hope you liked it. This is my entry to @FerferClear 's giveaway. If you want to learn more, you can check her post here: https://read.cash/@FerferClear/happy-birthday-to-me-15621240 **HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN,SIS** @FerferClear **!!!**

Birth Month Giveaway As I've said in my previous article, this month is my **daughter's birth month**. The month when I was really anxious about her coming to this world. The month when I was patiently waiting for her and at the same I was being impatient in waiting to hold her. She's my first born and my **Unica Hija**. She's means to me as much as the whole family means to me. Being part of readcash community means so much to me, as well. So, in celebration to her birthday, I am hosting a "**Birth Month Giveaway**" for everyone. :) **I will be giving away:** **$2 for one winner** **$1 for two winners** **and a total of $2 will be for consolation prizes.** ***(Amount of prizes and/or number of winners may increase in time)*** ***"What are we supposed to do then?"*** Yeah, the details... BCH GIVEAWAY BY @OverThinker entry here's the link of the contest: https://read.cash/@OverThinker/bch-giveaway-for-bchday-98972f25 Being here at Readcash for more than a month now has been like a rollercoaster ride for me. I started with no subscribers, few people engaging in my articles but as days pass by, my circle has grown bigger and I started hosting giveaways like this one. It's a pleasure being part of this platform. This platform teaches me about a lot of things. Not only in writing and about BCH but also about daily lives. BCH played an important role in Readcash as well as authors. BCH is also one of the most effective source of income especially during this pandemic.
Update in sponsorship giveaway I already sent payment for those who already approved my sponsorship. I'm still waiting for the others... It still is nice to share what you have. Even if it's just a small amount, when the sincerity is there, you will definitely feel good. I genuinely think that these authors have good contents that's why I didn't hesitate in giving them the sponsorship. I really believe in them. I want to encourage them as well to continue to write quality articles. I hope in this small amount they are encouraged... However, i am wondering if these are already sent to their accounts. It says "1 pending transaction".. What does that mean? haha. Sorry It really is my first time doing sponsorship. Did I do something wrong? To those who approved it already, did you receive the payments? To those who haven't approved it yet. I'm waiting for your approval... :)

Distributing sponsorship for the winners and announcement of a new giveaway!! I hosted a sponsorship giveaway and I was really pleased with the contestants. Supposedly, the winners will be **3 participants for sponsorship**, **10 participants for tips**, **2 sponsors for sponsorship**. But since the numbers of participants isn't that many (huhuhu), I decided to give sponsorship to all participants instead (yey!). The amount of sponsorship differs from "the wheel of names". It may not be that much but I hope it encourages you to write more quality contents. I also checked all your profiles and read some of your articles, I must say that every one was deserving to win... :) so without further ado, here are the lucky winners who are my first batch of sponsorship. This is actually the first time I sponsor so I am proud of them.. @Eybyoung @Akianne @marcmire @Myt.24 @Yen @Ohi @bheng620 @Meher89 @EYERISH687 And I selected @Baij and @FerferClear as two of my sponsors that I will sponsor too... ***Congratulations to the winners! May you spread more quality content and more love in this platform.... :) Thank you thank you thank you so so so much for joining.*** *****Ehem ehem ehem...***** ****So as the title indicates, I will be having another giveaway. This is because it is my daughter's birth month! I will be hosting a freewriting contest and I will be giving away**** **$2 for one winner** **$1 for two winners** **and a total of $2 will be for consolation prizes.** **(Prizes may increase, I'm looking for possibilities. I will edit it soon)** **I will be posting the details soon so stay tuned. :)** ****PS: I will just eat and check the confirmations of the winners, okay? :)**** ***Oh by the way, you can also check this community where you can get sponsored too. it is hosted by*** @Ashma ***. I would like to welcome my dear friend @Ronmichael ... Welcome to Readcash bro... :) Hope you enjoy your stay. You an share here your cover songs. Alam na Ron ha ahahaha mention mention din hahaha
What happens now? I had a notification of an article that I was interested in reading the most. I don't know if I am glad nor I am sad about it. Mixed emotions got into me. But I sure am shocked. After opening the article I saw something that really confused and bothered me. "user is banned" ... I saw this beside Read.Cash's name. "He banned himself in his platform? Why?", That was what I was thinking. So I read carefully in his article. I really think some of the things he said was against the rule. I was even hurt when he includes lines about being in a poor country. But I feel bad for him for having this kind of stress. I wish we can all just go back to normal and move forward. This incident went really out of hand for Read.Cash to ban himself. I also participated in the said competition, I wouldn't lie. Though I never attacked anyone, I also felt sorry for everything. I respectfully followed unpublishing my posts so as to no punishment and be on the safe side. Many people deleted their posts too, and some stood up for it. I don't have a problem with that. I respect everyone's opinion regarding this incident. I think I can say I'm worried now about what will happen to this platform after this incident. I'm also worried about how does Read.Cash feels right now. I'm also worried about how people feel about this. This has turned into a sad event for many of us (I think). I hope we can all agree on common ground and move forward for the future of this platform and (maybe) for the future of BCH. Let's go back/ continue creating quality articles and move forward :) What about you? What do you think will happen to readcash now? Let's look on the bright side now, would we... Check this community where you can get sponsored, it is hosted by @Ashma .. https://read.cash/c/get-sponsored-2a0b My give away is still in the process... It will end on Aug 1, 2020... https://read.cash/@Jdine/i-got-102-subscribers-yay-so-im-giving-away-sponsorships-bb3025b8
There are articles on moderation queue. These have numbers showing in "approved".. I don't know if I should approve them cause we are supposedly be submitting our article to one community only. But I don't think there's also an option where you can submit it to multiple communities... With these thoughts, I'm confused whether I should accept them or not... I would love to but I don't want to approve something that's not supposed to... Help?? @FerferClear? hahaha
Hello! This is a busy day for all of us. Almost everyone participated in a meme contest. It was fun, I participated too. :) Now, I am writing an article about a glimpse in being a call center agent, a day in the life of a call center agent. I just want to share how we (CC agents) work in our everyday lives. Stay tuned and let's see how is it being a call center agent.

A Chubby Girl's Heartbreak I know that being plus size can make people mock you but it was never a problem with me. It wasn't that bad. I was never at the point where people laughed about my size or anything. But that also does not make me feel so comfortable with my body. Every day, I am fighting this eat more and eat less kinda war in my head. I love eating and I don't think it's a crime. I am confident with my face, but with my body? Nah.. I know I'm not that model type kinda girl but it was never an issue. I was okay with it. I am happy with who I am, well I was... I met a guy who accepted me for who I am. He said he loved every part of me. He never made me feel embarrassed about my body. I always want to believe that Chris and I were perfect for each other. We're always happy. He made me believe in magic. I see rainbows when I'm with him. My family loves him too. Chris is the kind of guy that everyone in my neighborhood loves. They call him Tisoy. He looks like an actor. He's drop-dead gorgeous, he's very masculine yet very gentle to look at. He looks perfect. And me? I'm an ordinary plus-sized morena girl. Nothing so special. He's also respecting towards other people. He didn't disappoint my parents when they give curfew for our date. He always brings me home on time without any scratches on my body nor a frown on my face when I come home. My family thinks he's making me happy that's why they accepted him as well. He came to our house one night to study. My family's gone for the night. They all had their 'business' that night. It's always fine with my parents for us to study alone. They trust him as much as they trust me. We were in my room studying. He was sitting on my bed when I felt his hands on my back. He grabbed me and wanted for a kiss. I gave him what he wanted (kiss). There's nothing wrong with that. We are in a relationship. But he wanted more than that. I disagreed because I wasn't ready. I was not very comfortable with that thought because of my body. I thought he didn't deserve my body. He deserves better. He was fine with it. He just kissed me and said he can wait for me to be ready. He respected my decision. As awkward as it is, we just went on in studying. I couldn't sleep that night. I was thinking of possibilities if ever it happened. Advantages and disadvantages mostly... I tried to shut my eyes off but with no success, I was up all night. I tried to call him, thinking it may help with the guilt. Yes, I kinda felt guilty for refusing him. I felt guilty for embarrassing him. He didn't answer my call. Maybe he's asleep already. At school, everything seems normal. He didn't bring it up to me. We talked and shared lunch like nothing embarrassing happened last night. I assumed he was really okay with it and that he respected my decision. I loved him more, with that thought. He walked me home as usual. He called me in the evening and talked like we weren't even together at school. We talked like we haven't seen each other for years. This went on for days and what happened that night just faded in our thoughts. He texted me and asked me if he can go hang out with his friends for the night. I am not the type of girlfriend that gets too clingy and demands more time with me than with his friends so I let him hang out with his friends. I was eating dinner with my family that night when I suddenly miss him. I ignored thinking maybe I'm just being clingy. I enjoyed the dinner. My mom cooked my favorite dish. We were laughing and telling stories with one another. How I love to have a family like this one day with Chris. It may be very early to dream about it but I still liked the thought of it. Dinner's done, I washed the dishes and looked at my parents in the living room. My mom and dad are watching TV, cuddling maybe. My sister's in her bedroom already. She might be in front of her laptop again doing social media stuff. I went to my room and turned on my laptop for music. I was getting ready to go to bed when I thought of giving Chris a call. I finished getting ready then I called him. He didn't answer. I thought maybe he just didn't notice my call and I went on my bed. I peacefully listened to my playlist as I write in my journal about how thankful I am for everything. Yes, I keep a journal where I list all the things I'm thankful for every day. After I was done with writing, I tried to call him again but he still didn't answer. I didn't make any fuss about it. I switched off my laptop and went to sleep. I'll just talk to him tomorrow. I had a very nice sleep last night, I even dreamed of Chris. Was it pleasant? Sure it is. We were on a beach and watched the sunset and later realized that my house is near the beach so we went inside and cuddle as we watched a movie. Yeah, it was twisted as my house is not near the beach but does that really matter? No. It's 4 in the afternoon but I haven't heard from Chris yet. I tried calling him but he didn't answer. I wasn't worried cause when I called their house, his brother said he was sleeping. I didn't bother to ask what time he went home cause that will make me look like a detective. So I just waited for him to call. He called me at just when we (my family) are about to have dinner. He said he was sorry cause he was really drunk and had a headache when he woke up so he wasn't able to call or answer my calls. I was worried but told him it was fine. He asked me to come over to spend time with me. I happily said yes. Night came and I'm waiting for him in the living room as the rain falls very hard. It made everything cold and perfect for our time together tonight. The weather makes me want to cuddle. I also told my parents Chris would come. A knock on our door and I hurriedly jumped on the sofa to open the door. I opened the door and he kissed me in the cheeks. I told him to come in. We watched a movie but I kinda feel there's something wrong. He's silent, he just held my hand and sometimes squeeze it as if I'll be going somewhere and he doesn't want me to go. I ignored it and just smiled at him when he does that. I thought maybe t's just the weather. Maybe it's just cold that's why. When the movie end, I couldn't take it anymore, I asked him what's wrong. He faced me with a serious look and told me, "I have something to tell but please promise me you'll hear me out." I was thinking 'no no no no please don't.' I know that these lines come with so much pain. I knew then and there that there's something seriously bad is going on. I tried to be calm and gave him a questioning look and told him "yeah sure, what is it?" "You remember when I hang out with the guys? That night we were just drinking at Josh's house. All guys. But then Josh invited Kim and her best friend. Do you remember Mia? Tisay?," he started to explain. I just nodded my head with confusion but I think I know where this is going. I have a bad feeling about this. "They came over, we got very drunk. I tried to call you but thought you didn't want to have that kind of environment so I didn't bother calling you. We got very drunk and ....," he stopped. I'm starting to shake now. I can feel my eyes beginning to be heavy with tears. I'm not dumb, I know what he's trying to say. "A-a-and what?" I almost couldn't speak. He looked in my eyes, he tried to hold my face, I looked down. "J-just get on to the point. Tell me what happened." I managed to speak straight. I didn't saw his reaction but I know he was shocked. He inhaled deeply and exhaled, "Tisay and I slept together that night." "Tisay and I slept together that night," it bounced back in my head. In other terms, they had s*x. I looked at him straight in the eyes, tears flowing in my face. I tried to sound brave but failed, "Why?" That's all I could say. "I don't know, I was so drunk, and you... I thought of you when we were doing it. I'm ... I'm sorry..." he tried to apologize. I know I promised to hear him out but this is so much for me to take. I slapped him and ask him to go. I broke up with him. He tried to reach my hands but I don't want him to touch me. I pushed him out the door and told him I don't want to see him again. He was begging for forgiveness, he managed to hug me. I wanted to hug him back but the pain was eating me up, I pushed him. "Talk to me, please, I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you like this. Baby, please!" he pleaded. I pushed him more and I didn't answer. I closed the door and ran to my room and cried hard. The thunder was justifying my emotions right now. I feel like the sky is crying with me as the rain falls. I was in so much pain. Maybe I didn't know him well. Is it because I refused him? Is it because it's in his nature and I failed him? I started to doubt myself. I started to question my worth. I started to blame myself. I cried and cried and my body is shaking. I want to scream but I couldn't. I don't want my family to know my pain. I hate him. I hate how he made me feel. I hate Mia. I hate his friends. I hate everyone. I hate myself. *Fiction* Thanks for reading. A glimpse in the life of a call center agent... I have been in the industry since 2019. I have handles different accounts in different companies. From being a *technical support* for AT&T to being a *collections specialist* for Synchrony Bank to being a *categorist* for a car company campaign to being *associated with electric companies* in the US (we deal with central air and solar panels)... ***Customer service is not as easy as it sounds.*** You need to be calm and you need to know how to deal with different kinds of customers. Being in a call center industry is like any other sales and customer service jobs, the only difference is you ***interact over the phone***. I usually work 9 hours a day, including my 1-hour break. And this is a ***graveyard shift*** because timezone is 12 hours behind here in the Philippines. In other companies***, overtimes are mandatory***. In my current job, they will ask us politely if we are willing to take overtime. It usually takes ***1 to 4 hours of overtime***. In my previous employer, our mandatory overtime almost every day is 4 hours. My shift starts at midnight to noon (GMT +8). And I had to endure the traffic jam at noon before I can finally relax. During your first week working as a call center agent, the ***culture shock*** will sometimes get in your nerves. The ***irate customers*** (callers) ***screaming*** over the phone regarding their ***subscription***, their ***bill,*** everything that concerns them. ***Even a simple screensaver of a computer can be one irate customer's problem when he didn't know it was just a screensaver and claims his pc has a virus.*** Irate customers will intimidate you or at least try. They will ***curse you*** and tell you thinks that you may consider as ***below the belt***. These are just out of their frustration, so ***don't take it personally.*** Their mood will turn drastically when they feel that you are helping them resolve the issue and explaining what could've caused it. You will also encounter customers that are as ***rude, arrogant and pervert*** as you can never imagine. Many are ***liars*** too. They will try to tell you they did what you asked them to (in technical problems), and it may confuse you now cause it still doesn't work. But there are also those ***very gentle, kind and very considerate customers.*** These customers are like ***angels and heaven*** during your shift. When you press that auto-in and you start taking in calls or making calls, you should be ready in all types of people. When a customer is rude, you'll still entertain them and still be nice, when they are not listening anymore and is cursing you and you realize there is no sense in communicating right now, ***you don't have to tolerate the profanity,*** you can ***politely*** tell them to call back some other time. ***You don't get to scream back and curtly answer them.*** The calls are recorded for quality purposes. Quality analysts including your team leader (supervisor) listen to those recordings to know if you are doing good. And the customers can also mark you bad during the survey. Some also ask for a supervisor or manager immediately just after you said your opening spiel out of their frustration and lack of trust in agents. It's your job to turn that upside down. It's your job to make them trust you. ***This will be by your tone and empathy.*** You need to build rapport and let them know you have enough knowledge regarding the campaign you handle and you need to listen attentively to their issues so you won't circle looking for solutions. All of this for the whole shift. You barely get the chance to be silent. There are ***no holidays*** in mostly (majority)call center companies. You will be working either during ***New Year's Eve or Christmas Eve,*** sometimes ***both***. There are ***no storms***, ***no excuses*** (unless it's life and death scenario). There are demerits even when you are excused for work. Big centers are really strict in attendance. Many big centers already have their clinics wherein you are sent when you feel unwell.. The doctor or nurse in duty will be the one to say if you're sent home or not. There's also a quarter (males and females are separated) where you can take a nap. Small centers also have their own way to let their agents rest. They say that you earn pretty good when you're working in a call center company. And that's true. There are also a lot of compensations. Working in a call center company is as fun as any other jobs as long as you love what you're doing... It may be very exhausting, but it is all worth it when you see your pay slip every after 15 days... ***You might want to check out*** @Ashma ***'c community. Not Tomorrow But Now (my love story) It started when he had our first official date. He lives about 2-3 hours away from my apartment. He's going to attend an event the next day. He asked me if he can come over to have dinner with me before he go to city where he have to attend the event. I agreed. He was going to commute via public transportation at that time. He wasn't very familiar with the place and he asked me if there's still a bus trip at 6 pm. I was not familiar too with the bus trips as I was just living there for a year. Yeah, it wasn't my hometown, I was just working. Going back to the story, I asked my friend who's from the city he's living in and she said, "***definitely, the bus trip is 24/7..***" I called back to J and told him **trips are 24/7**. We agreed to meet at around **10 pm** cause we have things to do first before the date. He went to the bus station before 7 pm and to his surprise, **there wasn't a single bus.** He asked the guards and they told him the **last trip left at 6 pm** and **the next trip (*****a first trip of the day*****) will be at 3 am**. He called me and informed me about it. I told him that's okay, we can reschedule. He objected. He said he wanted to meet me first. "**Not tomorrow, but now.**" I asked him what he'll do. Is he going to use his car? His car isn't available at that time. He said he'll figure something out and call me in a bit. I was waiting for his call anxiously. I want to see him too. I want the date. I even had my nails done! My phone rang, with no second thought I answered it immediately. There's this familiar background noise. Kind of distracting when you're talking on the phone. I can barely hear him, he needed to shout so we can understand each other. He said he's on his way but he thinks I'll wait a little longer cause **he's riding a tricycle**! I laughed instead. it's a 2 hours drive or 3 hours bus trip distance. **And now he's doing it with a tricycle?!** **And with all his baggage?** *He's supposedly be going straight to the city where he would attend the event after our date so I expect he'll have his big bags.* I was in doubt at first. I thought he's just playing around and that he used his car. I thought he's just making me anxious to see what I'll be reacting. But we were talking for an hour already and I still hear the sound of the tricycle. So I asked him seriously, " ***are you honestly riding a tricycle right now? For real?***' He laughed, "***I'm sorry I had to let you wait like this but yes, I am riding a tricycle.***" *Here in the Philippines, tricycle rides are good for short distance travels although it's also possible for long-distance travel, time will be really really long. And don't forget the fare. He'll be spending much more than riding a bus.* It's **past 11 pm already** and he's not yet arrived. He called me apologizing. I told him it's okay and that I am the one who's ashamed cause he has to go so much trouble just to get here. He said it's fine and he really wants to do this. When they were two towns away from me, the **driver didn't know where to drop him off**, giving the fact he's not from here. They were at a convenience store when he said he's just two towns away and he will have to transfer to a jeepney. He asked me which direction he should be heading to. **Honestly, I also don't know**. Been living there for a year but I wasn't very familiar with the whole province yet. haha. I told him I honestly don't know too. I told him to give the phone to the guard or a traffic enforcer and let me talk to them. It'll be better cause I can speak a little of their dialect already, they'll be more comfortable talking to me that way. I told the traffic enforcer he should be heading to "**Dau**", he directed him to where he should ride the jeepney. He was said to ride a jeepney to Angeles City and ***then ride another jeepney*** from **Angeles to Dau**. I think it'll be more okay if I meet him at Angeles so he would not have to transfer again in an unknown town. Besides, **Angeles is just 15 minutes away from where I live that time.** He rode the jeepney to Angeles and I rode a tricycle to Angeles. It took 30 minutes for him to arrive. I was waiting for him in a convenience store near where he's going to pull in. I was waiting patiently when we called me. I answered and he said he's near and I heard in the background, "***you're here, sir***"... I stand up immediately and looked around. I saw him. I was dumbfounded. He walked towards me smiling. He held my hand and said, "**finally**" in a very gentle voice. I looked at his eyes and answered, "**yeah, finally**", trying to sound as gentle as he sounded. He kissed my cheeks and we went to have dinner together. A very late dinner but neither of us cared. ***And that's where it all started.*** *Thanks for reading my love story. haha. I can't justify the feeling I had with just writing about it. I don't think I am good at putting my emotions into my writing so please bear with me. This was the first time a man really put effort into seeing me. He could have rescheduled it for his convenience. Up to this day, when I think about our first date, it still astounds me. And after all these years, he still never fails to show me how much he loves me and how much he's willing to do for us. Having this kind of love is a blessing to us and never forget to thank the Lord for giving each other to us and letting us find each other...* ***Thank you again for reading. Hope you liked my story. There are so many authors sharing their love story. It's cute.. It's inspiring.. Should I write about my love story too now? hahaha.... What do you think, guys? :)
Mahirap magmahal? Don't hate the sinner, hate the sin....? Do you believe in the phrase ***"DON'T HATE THE SINNER, HATE THE SIN"***, or ***"DON'T HATE THE PLAYER, HATE THE GAME"***? I was trying to come up with an article regarding this but ***I don't think I can justify it***. People will react based on which table they're sitting at. It's always easy to tell such things. But as a human being, we normally think of our side first instead of others. ***If we hate the sinners and not the sin, do we then hate everyone?*** Cause, we are all sinners, right? As human beings, we sin even without intentions. We commit sins every single day. May it be small or huge. A simple lie is already a sin if you seriously look at it. ***The simple fact of hating someone is already considered as a sin.*** But again, we are just humans and we commit sins. I sometimes agree with "***hating the sin not the sinner***" concept. Why? Because I know that ***the sinner is not our enemy***. And they are actually in a battle. ***A battle between the good and the evil.*** And when they sin, they are slowly losing it. So instead of hating them, why not pray for them to win the battle for righteousness? ***BUT THEN AGAIN I AM JUST A HUMAN AND I CAN'T SAY I AGREE WITH THIS*** especially when I am the victim of wickedness. I am not a very religious person but this was taught to us in the church and it really hit me. And this is a very huge scope for me to discuss. I don't think I can justify it. I don't think I am the right person to discuss it. Whatever is the real meaning behind these lines, the important thing is, ***we learn to forgive people just like we were forgiven by God.*** We are all not perfect, we make mistakes, and we should all deserve second chances. Less judgment, more love. ***Leave the judgment to God and let's just spread positivity.*** :) Thanks for dropping by again and reading my article. Hi! Good morning. I've posted an article entitled The Beatles Hate The Philippines as announced last night. You can check my article here: https://read.cash/@Jdine/the-beatles-hate-the-philippines-02b94fd9 Let me just say that I don;t have intentions to make my country look bad and this is just to share a story. We all make mistakes and misunderstandings. I hope everyone can forgive one another. :) I love The Beatles and I know that a lot of Filipinos loves The Beatles up to this date. I'm also working on in an article regarding John Lennon's death... Maybe in the future... ❤
The Beatles hated the Philippines? ***These are just gathered from what I heard and read about the incident. I just want to imply that some of the details may not be accurate. And since some of us (especially me) weren't born at that time yet and we know that news, stories, etc can't all be very accurate as well, only the people involved really know what happened. :)*** Everyone knows who **The Beatles** is. They are **legends in the music industry.** They traveled around the world for concerts. And yes, the Philippines was one of the countries they visited... but it is also one of their worst experience. The concert was successful and was attended by thousands of fans at **Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.** The Beatles went to the Philippines in **1966** for a concert. This was during the **late Former-President Ferdinand Marcos' administration**. Some of the members told that they sensed "***bad vibes***" when they arrived in the Philippines. They were greeted at the airport by many fans and **armed guards (military)** and they were escorted to the **Philippines** **Navy Headquarters** for their **Press conference** ***without the rest of their entourage including their manager.*** They were then headed into a **yacht** to attend a **luxury party** organized by a **media tycoon** ***(still without their crew and manager***). The Beatles said it was th**e first time** they will be **separated from their manage**r during this kind of situation. Then they were taken into a **limo** and were **escorted** to their hotel and **checked in at around 4 am**. They were **soon joined by their manager** in their hotel room. ****Before**** they arrived in the Philippines, an **invitation** was already sent to the **management of the Beatles from the promoter** regarding the **First lady's invitation** to them. **There were no confirmations from The Beatles' management** and **they claim they wanted nothing about politics.** They were **unaware** that the **promoter had already agreed** to the First Lady. The next morning after they arrived in the Philippines, there was banging on the door of their hotel room. They didn't give much attention thinking it were just fans but when the door didn't stop banging, the manager opened the door. The manager then realized it was the **presidential security staff** saying they were to be **escorted to attend a reception** hosted by First-lady Imelda Marcos and told them that the **First-lady, the president, and some government officials including the attendees' children will be attending the reception.** Their **manager** ***politely*** **declined** the offer because it was not on the schedule of the band and they need to rest for their concert that night. Hours later, they knew **something was wrong** when their **calls** for room service **weren't answered.** They turned on the TV and the said **event (reception)** was **aired on television** and was seen **vacant seats** that were supposed to be for The Beatles and **children crying** because of their **nonexistence in the reception**. The shots focused on the **vacant plates and seats** that were supposedly for them and **First lady Imelda Marcos'** disappointment saying **'They (The Beatles) let me down!'"** It would seem that The Beatles have **disappointed** and **insulted** the First lady and **broke the hearts** of young fans by "***snubbing***" the invitation **without any intentions to.** After this, the newspaper headlines flashed about **"The Beatles Snub the President"** and the manager became worried and decided to have a **press conference as a formal apology** to the President and the First lady over a Television owned by the government. ***The legendary band played two concerts that night and it was very successful. More than 80000 fans enjoyed it.*** During the interview, the Manager was apologizing when the **picture (signal) went off.** There had been **technical issues** that caused the interview to be **unclear,** it was **incomprehensible**. The hotel they stayed in was **attacked by angry fans** so they hurriedly packed their bags and headed to the airport. When they were leaving the country that day, there were **no security police** for them. They **disappeared**. It was **removed**. They experienced a **frightening ride** on their way to the airport. **Many roads are closed** and at every stop, they endure fans that are **banging the car windows angrily.** They were **forced to carry their baggage** and equipment as **porters refused to help them**. And they were **jostled and their manager was beaten.** In the airport, they were **approached by angry fans** and the airport looked like it was a **military camp** because there was a lot of military surrounding the airport. **The escalators were also turned off.** The airport personnel told them "***WE TREAT YOU LIKE ORDINARY PASSENGER! ORDINARY PASSENGER!***" **They were pushed, jostled, and Ringo Starr also said that people are spitting on them**. Screaming in Spanish and English. But surprisingly, the Beatles' staff were attacked more than the Beatles. Their entourage (staff) suffered minor injuries as well as **Ringo Starr who suffered a minor injury when he got hit by an uppercut and was kicked on the ground after he tripped**. The Beatles band members managed to **run for protection behind a small crowd of nuns and monks.** When they **got on the plane**, **Paul McCartney** said they were all **kissing their seats.** But **Brian Eipstein (the manager)** and **Malcolm Evans (the personal assistant/rodie)** were called to **take off the plane again.** They were horrified and their manager even said to the band to **tell his wife he loves her**. Malcolm Evans dreaded that he would be put into jail or executed. Their manager was then forced to **pay the income tax** for their concert and tax bond as it w**as supposedly the responsibility of the promoter.** They were forced to pay **£6,800** that time for the fees. And two of their entourage were investigated when they see irregularities in their passport. After that another long wait, they were now permitted to leave and fly home. When they arrive at London's Heathrow Airport, the Beatles expressed their trip to the British press. The Beatles made a vow to never return to the Philippines again. **John Lenon** said, "***If we go back, it will be with an H-bomb, I won't even fly over the place.***" **Ringo** stated that "***the worst experience in my life...I thought they were going to put us in jail...***" **George** said he'd like to "***drop a bomb***" in the Philippines. *Disclaimer!!!* *This post is not to make the Philippines and the Marcos family look bad. This is just a story I gathered about what happened during those days and I discourage people to judge my country based on these stories. I love my country and* ***I love The Beatles.*** ***A lot of Filipinos love the Beatles.*** *The event (experience) has a lot more deep reasons as to why it happened. Most Filipinos know that it was Martial Law at that time and that can actually be the reason why there were militaries everywhere. It was very strict back then. But I will not go that far as discussing martial law and this article is just about the Beatles' experience in the Philippines. Some people say that no one was supposed to say "no" to the First Family during President Marcos' administration. I'm not sure. Maybe, the First Family was really disappointed because they expected the band's appearance since the promoter already confirmed it to them. I think it was all a misunderstanding as both parties didn't know prior to the event that the invitation was confirmed. Maybe, the angry fans just felt like the band disrespected the first family for not attending even when they "confirmed" to attend. Again, the band didn't know the promoter confirmed their attendance AND the First Lady (Family) DIDN'T KNOW that the Beatles didn't know the promoter already confirmed. The more that the fans had no idea of what really happened and they based and act on what they heard which was the disappointment of the First Lady. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT TO MAKE MY COUNTRY LOOK BAD. THIS WAS A LONG TIME AGO AND A LOT HAS CHANGED AND LESSONS WERE LEARNED IN THE PAST (OR SO I BELIEVE).* Here are some videos where you can watch and read more about the story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJMAMavME5w&t=77s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxAR1n6WoOk&t=52s ***Thanks for reading! I'm on the process of writing an article about The Beatles and their stay in the Philippines. Some young people may not know this but The Beatles actually had a concert here in the Philippines it was turned into their most worst experience. Together, let's see how it went and for those who already knew the story, I hope you still read my article. Let's see how the remaining Beatles members still feel about this... Stay tuned!!
