Truth or Lie?
We sometimes find it hard to choose one of these two. We are stuck with choosing between the truth that hurts and lie that comforts us. Would you choose to hear the truth even if it hurts? Even seeing the possibilities for pain? Would you rather know if love is still there or not for the sake of knowing the truth? It may be hard. It may pin you down. Would you still want the truth? Or would you prefer lies that comfort you and your insecurities? Would you rather hear a lie to boost your confidence and ego? Would you pretend it's true when in reality it is not? It can make you feel good about it. It can make you confident. Would you prefer a lie? There are many times that truth really hurts and lies can really be relieving. That's why others find it difficult to choose. The tendency is they will choose which they can benefit from and which is more tolerant of their sentiments. The truth will set you free as what we always hear. I don't totally believe in that. What really sets you free is knowing both truth and lies. Truth and lies will set you free. It comes hand in hand. Knowing the truth will make you realize the reality that will save you from difficulties. And hearing lies will unfold your capabilities you didn't know you possess. Not all truth will set you free and not all lies will help you boost your confidence, though. Some will keep you from achieving anything. It can make you feel unstable and weak. It can make demotivate you from achieving what you want. Not all lies are bad. Some strengthen your vulnerability and insecurities. They make you feel you are capable of achieving something. They help motivate you. Well, given the fact that the lie is a motivational one. Yes, the truth may set you free. But in order to do that, you must be ready and willing to face the discomfort of it. Same as hearing lies. You must be ready for consequences and unfolding the truth afterward. How the truth and lie can set you free depends on the truth and lie and also depends on how the person handles truth and lies. What about you? What would you choose? The truth or the lie?

This is like a conversation with yourself. But I always choose the truth for some reason. Knowing is far more comforting an idea to me since i can move on from that truth eventually

Ehh but you are beautiful UwU lies are not too fun to believe though. It's basically just making everything worse when the time for truth comes out
yeah, some lies are really bad. I won't argue with that. haha I just think that there are lies that can still be tolerated, like, when someone cheers you up and says your strong even when he think you look like a sh*t 🙈
I think that's just flattery now and isn't the idea of beauty and strength rather subjective so you can never tell if it was just to cheer you up or it was meant sincerely unless the dace says it all

In the past and in the future, I choose truth. But honestly speaking, most people chooses a lie during the present time. Maybe it's what most of us call, escape from reality. 🤦♀️🤦♀️

Good article. Truth and lies... has a common denominator and that is you will hurt someone either you tell them the truth or tell them lies. But for me I always go with the truth. I'd rather be hurt or hurt someone by telling/knowing the truth coz eventually you will heal and appreciate the person who has the courage to tell you the truth (even if it hurts) also one way of saying they admitted their mistakes and your worthy enough to know the truth. Lies might comfort you for a while but it will cause more damage in a long run on both parties. Eventually truth will came out and you will feel double the pain coz you've been fooled for a long time and being lied to so many times just to cover up the truth. On the other hand the consequences of telling lies is you need to have a good memory so your statement are consistent. 😂😂😂

I rather choice the truth than lies. The most I hate are liars. I always tell the truth about me no matter how shameful it is. Or how others think of me. So I want the same with you.

Alternate between truth - truth - lie , truth - lie - truth and lie - truth - truth . Everyone in the group has an opportunity to try to guess which statement was the lie . Once everyone has guessed, the person will reveal what was true and what was false. If only one person was correct, that person can go next.
Everyones life of the world are mixed with truth and lie...
