Netflix is one of the most popular streaming apps now. It's also affordable and honestly, it has lots of good stuff (original Netflix film/series). I have a few that I didn't regret watching in my free time.
13 Reasons Why (Series)
It's about a girl that committed suicide which before this, she recorded tapes stating the 13 reasons why she ended her life... From failed friendship to bullying to rape to feeling helpless and hopeless. It's about depression, anxiety, and all that stuffs.
To all the boys I've loved before (Movie)
It's about a girl that wrote love letters to all she admired or "loved" when she was younger. She was in middle school during those times, I guess, and when she reached highs school, her younger sister sent all the letters to their recipients.
To all the boys: PS I still love you (Movie)
The continuation of 'to all the boys I've loved before'. In this movie, one of her most the guys came across her and made it clear he also liked her but the conflict is she is already in a relationship right now with the campus heartthrob.
Kissing booth (1&2) (Movie)
It's about a girl that has a guy best friend who's a son of her mother's best friend too. Her best friend has a super hot older brother that she tries not to have a crush on (because of their friendship rules) but failed when the two ended but being lovers which started when they (older brother and she) kissed at the kissing booth.
Holidate (Movie)
It's about two strangers that agreed to be each other's date only on holidays. They're both fed up being single and being asked or pressured into having a date during gatherings so they decided to be each other's date but eventually (as cliche as it sounds) they fell in love.
Murder mystery (Movie)
A couple waiting for a long time for vacation have been given the opportunity to spend a trip to Europe in a billionaire's yacht. During their trip, they rumbled into a murder case in which they begin to solve the mystery.
Secret Obsession (Movie)
About a girl that wakes up with amnesia after her accident that has a very caring and loving husband. After a while, she then uncovers the truth about her accident and the husband that has been caring for her since she woke up in the hospital.
Bird Box (Movie)
A mother that is battling for her two children's safety with an unseen force that provokes victims in suicide on their way to reach the place of safety.
Fractured (Movie)
When their child got into an accident, they rushed the injured kid in the nearest hospital. His wife and child was brought to the ER. When he wakes up, his wife and injured child got missing in the ER and the hospital seems to have no records of them checking in. He panicked and was sure that the hospital is hiding something really suspicious.
Okja (Movie)
About a girl that raised a very large pig that was developed by a company. When the company finally took Okja back and rejected his grandfather's payment to but Okja from the company, she chased Okja to the city where she encountered a group of activists that helped her rescue Okja from corporate greed.
There are lots and lots more of good films at Netflix. Here are just ten of some of the films I liked. Some films may look like a cliche but the how they come up with same concept and the acting of each character made them different from other films...
