A writer who writes aimlessly is like a man blowing in the wind. To avoid this a writer should try to;

1. Have Something to Say

2. To Anyone

3. About a purpose.

For unexperienced writers, you may have trouble keeping these requirements in mind when writing. In fact, not a single routine is required for one to become a professional writer. First -class professional writers often think about what they want to say, to whom they are writing and why they are writing. The unscrupulous writer does not know this.

If you are writing on a theme, before you begin, consider whether it is worth the time to write and whether it should also be given to readers. This doesn’t mean that every time you write, or else you have to write on serious and complex topics. But you should try to convey to your reader any idea that is interesting and intriguing.

Don’t underestimate your own ability to write anything that will entertain your reader. Far from the truth it is said that a person has “nothing to say” regarding his work, his hobbies, his travels, or even his conversations with anyone, as well as his experiences and information that can be developed into in a challenging writing.

You can even write down your simple observations to coworkers, classmates and people who ride public transportation. Chances are if you’re also not careful in choosing your topic, the topic that doesn’t interest you will also make your reader feel bored.

Writing that merely repeats common knowledge and repeats ideas that the reader already knows is a pointless writing.

2. Try to incubate your writing by storing it in your file and write another. Many writers have found that it is very helpful to incubate a piece of writing a few hours before it reaches the revision or revising stage.

The purpose of the process is to return the subconscious mind to review and analyze material, create new conclusions, and sometimes find fresh insights and solutions. Time is of the essence when you’re already at what is called type ll writing and don’t know what you should do.

If you come across a void or if your idea is overwhelmed, relax your mind. Other writers who experience this, travel to places that are beautiful and fresh. When they already feel the lightness of mind, they return to the abandoned assignment that now has new energy and likely new ideas to be discovered.

If you’re actually into writing your drafts, try taking mini incubations breaks. If you’ve experienced being stuck in words or may no longer be able to think of the examples you need to illustrate a point, relaxation will likely provide new insight to break down what is blocking your writing.

Once you have overcome this problem, the next thing you will face is to consider your audience. These are the people you focus on in writing. As much as possible, you should know what your readers expect from you, how much or breadth they know about your topic, what questions they are likely to raise and what attitudes are likely to affect their reading of your writing. .
