Rabbid stumbles and goes sprawling but sees something just as he's falling.
Without light he cant see at all but the lantern shows the chest is small.
"What on Earth can the secret be? can that small chest be the key?"
For treasure? It just looks too small, Rabbid glances around at the wall
He sees a door that has no latch and wonders if there is a catch
He sees a door that has no latch and wonders if there is a catch
It will not budge, there is no hope, Rabbid steps back and tugs the rope.
Warlock starts to wind him higher and is exposed as one big liar!
He would have left poor Rabbid there, now he's shocked to see the rabbit here.
"I'll drop the chest," does Rabbid yell, so Warlock backs off from the well
He sways the rope and grabs the wall; Not Rabbid or the chest will fall.
Warlock leaps back in one bound, he thinks the secret now is found.
Grabbing Rabbid's right hand tightly, Warlock drags him, none too lightly!
"There's no treasure," he exclaimed, "just a key in the chest," he explained.
Warlock rants and threatens them all. Rabbid sees something by the wall.
It's Wise Old Goat's clock time machine, to trick Warlock is what Rabbid thinks
The clock is not the Secret, true! but for this purpose, it will do
Set the numbers one-nought-six-six and we'll soon have him in a fix.
Rabbid slams shut the clock's glass case, a confused look passed Warlock's face.
Rabbid turns the time machine on; Warlock fades away till he's gone.
A sharp knife cuts the ropes that tie, the trick has worked, he did not lie.
Threats Warlock would have carried out of that Wise Old Goat has no doubt.
Rabbid spots the key on the floor, he's anxious to know what it's for.
"is it for the door in the well?" Wise Old Goat knows, but he wont tell.
Next day the pals prepare to go, what the Secret is, they still dont know.
"is it for the door in the well?" Wise Old Goat knows, but he wont tell.
Next day the pals prepare to go, what the Secret is, they still dont know.
Wise Old Goat says that is the way, to keep it a secret it must stay.
The Secret that is not safe to tell, Remains in hiding down the well.
But you, dear reader, can be told, The Great Goats turned nuts into gold!
THE END!!!
