Food photography 1.2 (Shabu-Shabu a.k.a. Hotpot)
***Shabu-shabu*** is a Japanese hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water and served with dipping sauces. The food is cooked piece by piece on a pot with boiling soup on the table.
The dish is prepared by submerging a thin slice of meat or a piece of vegetable in a pot of boiling broth. Raw meat are normally dipped into the hot stock for just a few seconds, as the pieces are so thin. Putting all meat into the pot at one time may result in overcooking the meat, but in this case we put all tofus and sausages for faster cooking.
In some places, udon, mochi, tofu, meatballs, fishballs, squid balls, sausages, mushrooms, fish crackers, dumplings and harusame noodles may also be served.
This Shabu-Shabu restaurant which we've been to are also serving deserts, salads, ice creams and different variety of drinks. They also have kimchi, other side dishes, and even rice.
While waiting for the foods to be cooked, you can eat your preferred vegetable salad first. I usually chose lettuce with cherry tomatoes.
And of course, desserts always served last. Yey!! Japanese mochis and mini cakes are the best. I like the green matcha mochi the most.
Don't eat too much, give some room for ice cream, served with your favorite toppings. 😋😋
And after the feast, you can enjoy different variety of drinks, coffee and teas. I prefer tea.
It's jasmine tea, I like green tea but they dont have. This restaurant offers unlimited feast good for one to one and half hour. As you can see below, we didn't finish our food. Sorry. ✌✌
I hope this restaurant will also offer unlimited hour of hot pot, so customers will enjoy and savor every single food served on the table. Hope you like it guys. Yes, so true. When I go out together with my friends, we stay at the resto for about 2-3hrs. Haha. But sadly because of the situation, they don't do unlimited here.
I hope we can stay longer too, but it's good for one to one and half hour only...
Oh, is it. But still worth it though even half an hour only.
But sometimes it makes you in a hurry to eat which isn't good for tummy

Oh.. that one.. because it offers unlimited food.. that means you can eat whatever you want for one hour or one and a half... of course the owner of the restaurant won't allow custom to stay longer.. it's loss of profit.. haha

Yes it is... so rather buy the one and a half hour package than extending more time.. But it's not USD okay. 😅 it's HK USD

For there are restaurants there.. even have korean grilled restaurants
If it's samgyup then yes, i know a fee good places but as for shabu shabu, i really have no idea where because I've never been invited to eat that before
