Naagin is an Indian movie thriller series. In each series, shape-shifting women try to fight evil and keep their ultimate source of power the "naagmani" safe from evil. Naagin 1 is the beginning of these series featuring Mouni Roy as Shivanya.
Shivanya's parents were murdered whiles trying to protect the third eye of Lord Shiva (the naagmani). The murderers were five but fortunately for them, Shivanya was able to see only three of them. Namely; Ankush, Viren and Shailesh.
With the support of her cousin Shesha in her quest for revenge, Shivanya enters the the house of Ankush as a maid but joins the family through her marriage with the son of Ankush, Ritik.
She slows falls in love with Ritik, her kind-hearted, optimistic and funny husband, the son of her parents' murderers.
Her cousin Shesha notices this and reminds her of the pain Ritik's father has put her through and the honor she needs to bring to her parents.
Will Shivanya avenge her parents or she'll let love rule and forgive Ritik's father to avoid hurting Ritik??
