What Are You Planning To Do With Your BCH Earnings?
April 2, 2023
Now that Rusty is back in Read.cash, writers of this BCH-driven platform are earning once more. Although the earning is way much lower than it was before the pandemic, a lot of old members are simply happy that Rusty is back dropping some BCH on each post.
So far I received as much as $0.72 worth of BCH from Rusty in one post. This is a far cry from the $5 to $30 (or even more) members receive from Rusty before the cryptocurrency crash.
In the past, few of my articles received more than $20 apiece.
Greetings my wonderful readers and fellow BCH lovers. It's a warm Sunday afternoon here in the Philippines. Or a HOT afternoon, rather. Yes, just like the others, I started earning BCH again from read.cash as well as two other platforms.
However, I have had a problem with my Cashrain since two ago. Thus, I cannot earn from that platform for now.
While I can earn from Bitcoin Cash Giveaways, it's just a fraction of what I can earn from read.cash. Unless I can start building up my network in BCH Giveaways.
My question is:
What Are You Planning to do With Your BCH Earnings?
Like many of us here, I presume, I joined read.cash to earn extra income from writing. This platform helped me survive the crisis when the pandemic hit. My earning here also helped me pay for my hospitalization two years ago.
However, the price of BCH at the time of writing is only $125.25. Which is just a fraction of its all-time-high (ATH) value of more than $4000 in 2017.
I'm Still HODLing
Since the crash started, I was forced to sell my BCH at a low price out of urgent need. However, I made it a point to HODL at least 1 BCH no matter what. At the moment, I have at least 1.25 BCH in my several wallets.
Although I badly needed some cash these days, I am thinking of what I will gain if I HODL this amount and wait for the next bull run. Just imagine if I have this amount and the price reaches $300 or even $500.
Keep Earning and Saving
In March, I earned 0.02251940 BCH out of my 5 articles. I spent a total of 0.00352964 BCH for tips and for boosting one article. Though my earning from BCH giveaways is merely 0.0002 BCH per week on average, I plan to build up my network so I can start earning more.
My goal is to read.cash, I need to earn more. Based on what I have earned so far, I will start aiming low at first. I will start with $3 - $4 a week. At least 40% of that earnings will go to my savings wallet. 40% will go to my expense wallet, and the remaining %20 will be my budget for upvoting and boosting... and perhaps I will start sponsoring again soon.
Find Other Sources of Income
I still need to earn extra income fast. I'm also earning from Hive, but I'm still building up my account on that site so I can earn faster in the future.
I'm also not expecting to start earning from my Redbubble shop anytime soon.
If I plan to continue HODLing my BCH until the next bull run, I need to find other sources of income quickly. Perhaps some online works.
In Closing
While I still have my salary from my part-time teaching job, it's barely enough to cover my family's monthly expenses. Even if my salary is combined with my wife's.
Since I barely earned $3 in BCH in March out of my 5 articles. I'm hoping I can earn at least $15 in April. Although I need cash to help cover my family's recurring expenses, I also need to build up my emergency fund. At this point, the BCH I'm HODLing serves as my emergency fund, while I am looking for other means to earn, cryptocurrency or fiat.

The profits I had earned I spent. Now I plan to save on bch. I find it useful to store cryptocurrencies.
I'm also writing on other sites like mylot, and blurt. Where I get some income. There are not many of them, but they will be useful later.
