Wrong conclusion about the truth
Peace be to you beloved.
I trust you slept well.
*And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.*
Luke 2:40â€-‬44 KJV
In our text, Joseph and Mary wrongly concluded that Jesus was following them in the midst of the crowd, but He was not. When they realized the fact, they had to go back and look for Him.
Many believers now a days still believe they are in Christ whereas they are not, because of their sinful lifestyle.
And it is a wrong conclusion to think the presence of God is still with you without knowing He has left you long ago. It is also a wrong conclusion to think you are on your way to heaven without knowing you're a candidate of hell fire. Lots of Christians are making so much wrong conclusion on their spiritual journey and this is causing a lot of downfall among brethren.
This morning you have to allow God to search you, you yourself sit down and think through. Are you still in Christ truly or you're just claiming everything is alright whereas you're in danger of hell fire because of your carelessness
The good news is that that there's still an opportunity for you to make your way right this morning, rededicate your life to Jesus Christ and be sure to be on the right track instead of assuming that you're on the right track.
Most times, we rush into conclusions without patiently observing and understanding the situation at hand. We need to ask God to help to always help us to avoid wrong conclusion about my Christian state.
My message for us this new year is to exercise understanding in everything that happens. Let as well be slow to speak as the bible instructs us.
Some people who doesn't go to church again, who were once believers took wrong decision by making conclusions among themselves. It takes the grace of God to stand firm and make easy decision and conclusions.
Thanks for reading. Have a nice and beautiful year. More BCH to your wallet
