Never waste your time

Daim was a hardworking person, who was used to do his work on time. Since his father left this world, punctuality become his good friend, and he never compromised on anything which can make him a useless person. In the beginning, it was difficult for him to manage all these things alone, but he worked hard to reach the point on which he was today.

But his friends were used to spending their time in useless activities, and so many times they also forced Daim, to involve in the same useless activities, but he never let himself to distract from the right path. But his mother was used to advice him to leave the company of his friends, because it could also effect his habits slowly.

One day, Daim was preparing for his meeting with his foreign clients, but his friends called him at the lunch which they held in the restaurant. At first, Daim denied, but on their insistent he agreed to join them. But his manager, was continuously ringing him for the meeting, as a little delay can put them in a great loss.

Daim was enjoying the lunch with his friends, and he kept his phone on the silent mode. After two hours, he finally reached at the office for meeting, but his clients were already gone, after waiting for him continuously for two hours. This was the first time, when Daim preferred this useless activity over his business affair.

Although, he was a bit sad, but this was only for few hours. Later he was satisfied and busy in chatting with his friends. Before his time was used to spend in finding ideas to improve his business, but now his time was beings spending in chatting or playing games with his friends.

His habit of punctuality was replacing with laziness and idleness. Slowly he left to follow any time schedule, and began to delay his work for tomorrow's. Before he was used to reaching his office on time, but now he was the last one to enter the office.

His mother was already noticing a change in her son's behavior, so one day she said,

"My dear son, history has proved, that success comes to those, who are punctual, and hard workers. But when you kill time in useless activities, you kill your opportunities for success."

He replied,

"Mom, I am fed up following these principles, so now I want to enjoy my life in a way, I want."

"But this urge will only put you in loss and trouble." She added.

In short, he never heard any word of his mother, and continue to waste his time in useless things. Slowly he was experiencing great loss in his business, and their clients were cancelling their contracts with them, to avoid any loss. But instead of changing his habits, Daim blamed his luck for this. Soon he was left empty handed, and all his wealth was wasted due to the loss of his punctuality.

As far as, he considered his time his treasure, he remained a successful person in his life, and retained everything he desired for, but as soon as he started to waste his time, everything turned against him. In short, the ones who kill their time, also kill their opportunities and prosperity.
