Friends, this is my end to the story The goblin, started by me a few days ago, as a dynamic, which consisted of making an ending for it. If you have not read the beginning, it is highly recommended that you first go through the article that contains the beginning of the story, because you will hardly understand the end of it. If you still want to participate in the dynamic, go ahead. Read the first part, try an ending according to your imagination and then read mine again.
Enough of preambles, here it goes:
"... the goblin opened his mouth and showed his sharp fangs and a slightly mischievous smile was glimpsed on his lips, while a phrase came out of there:" Do you want to play?
Dean was speechless. Although he already knew he was in a dream, since he had felt it just a few minutes before, he froze. The goblin did not remove his smile from his face, on the contrary, he was getting bigger and the fangs were seen even more with each passing second. Dean almost stuttering managed to string together a question:
- What do you want from me? - asked Dean.
The goblin removed his smile from his lips and closed his bright eyes for a few seconds. When he opened them again, a kind of screen appeared behind him. In it, you could see Dean's room and the bed where only he slept. Dean didn't understand why his mom wasn't in bed with him, even though he was feeling her next to him.
- Dean, it's me, your mother. - said the goblin.
At that moment Dean gave a cry and jumped on the bed, he tried to wake up, but he couldn't. Something was preventing it.
- This is a dream, I'm dreaming, I want to wake up - Dean yelled at the top of his lungs, but he couldn't wake up from that nightmare. - I want my mom!
- It's me, I'm here with you, forever. - The goblin added as it began to enlarge, getting bigger and bigger.
In a few seconds, the pillow he was sitting on disappeared completely under him. Dean closed his eyes tightly and yelled with all his might "!I want to wake up!" When he opened his eyes again there was his room, his mother was by his side, sleeping peacefully, while the man drenched in sweat, woke up crying. The nightmare was finally over. He touches his mother roughly to wake her up, but she does not react. He looks forward and at the foot of the bed, and saw him sitting on a white pillow, to his mother. The changed eyes, dark, like the night, and the pale face accompanied by a mischievous smile and well-defined fangs.
- We're not done, Dean - he added.
- What do you want? - asked Dean full of courage.
- I just want to play a game with you - The goblin told him again.
- I don't want to play, I just want you to leave my mom alone, leave me alone, I want to wake up!
He got up from the bed and ran to the door, he wanted to leave the room, when he opened the door and put one foot out of it, he fell into the void. Again the vastness of the universe around him. In front of him was the little boy, with an angelic face this time, sitting on his pillow. Always in the same position, to which Dean filled with courage, and without hesitation, he pounced on him and pushed him off his pillow. That little boy did not stay suspended in the air, for some reason, he could not stand off his white pillow and fell into the void. As he did so, his smile faded from his lips, his fangs narrowed, and his eyes returned to a normal color. The only one word heard before disappearing was: "Thank you"
At that precise moment, Dean woke up with a start, in good part because of the shaking that his mother was giving him to wake him up. He was crying, and in the middle of crying, he told his mother that everything had already happened.
- The consultation with the psychologist was brought forward for next Wednesday my child. - Mom said when they were having breakfast. - I just told you what happened and I reschedule the consultation a little earlier to see you.
In the consults, the child tells everything that happened in detail. At that moment the mother has to go out to answer an urgent call. Dean is staring at the floor when silence fills the room. He lifts his head slowly and in front of him, and he realizes that the psychologist had his eyes alive and large, sitting on a pillow, he opened his mouth and showed his sharp fangs and a slightly mischievous smile glimpsed on his lips, while a phrase came from there: "Do you want to play?"
This is all friends. I hope you liked the end of the story. If I tell you that much of this actually happened to me. So, in a way, it's based on real events. When I was little, I had this recurring nightmare for months. It was quite annoying. Although I never got to go to the psychiatrist, I did run through the living room of the house and even went out for a run on one occasion throughout the neighborhood. We must face these nightmares, not remain silent, expose them and not be afraid. Eventually, they stopped happening to me, without prior notice the goblin disappeared, until these days that I return to their story for you and enrich it a bit. I think in my case he disappeared from my dreams at the exact moment I faced him and told him to tell me what he wanted. I never knew.
