Someone always has it better_and worse_than you.

There is always that time when you begin to feel that life has dished us the biggest plate of sourness. the moment when we begin to feel that all misfortunes on Earth has befallen us. This is the moment when we should remember that there is always someone else out there who has it worse than us.

Just like there are people out there who think that the world has prepared the worst things for them, there also exists people who think that there is no one else to whom the world has been better to except themselves. These people feel on top of the world and to them, no other person has a better life than them. They tend to forget that there are people out there whose lives are better than theirs.

When you feel so down that you begin to think that the world has given up on you, you should always remember that there are people out there that when you hear their pathetic stories, you'll realize that you have one of the best lives in the world. Always remember that just as there are people who you wish to live as, there are also people who wish to experience the same life that you think you are tired of.

I remember watching a short video clip of people thinking that they had the worst lives. A private jet flew past and a man in a Lamborghini began to wish his life was good enough for him to afford a jet. After his sad thinking, he drove past a an old truck. The truck driver began to wish he could drive such expensive vehicle like a Lamborghini. After his wishful thinking, he drove past a moto cyclist who also had his own episode of wishful thinking. He also drove past a crippled man and guess what the cripple wished for.

We all have our episodes of thinking that other people are better than us. But have we seem to forget that books should not be judged by their covers. What if that rich guy you are comparing yourself with does not even sleep at night? Have you heard and thought about the phrase "big man big trouble" or do you think it is just another meaningless statement? Do you also know that there are people who wish that life will place them in the same level as you?

That old leaking roof that you have over your head is a treasure you should be thankful for. There is always that homeless person out there who sleeps and does everything under the rain. Always consider the life you live as a blessing. Be grateful for that little thing you have. There are always people who wish they can eat that food you call trash. Learn to be appreciative and thankful for the little you have.

There are people who have lost everything because they were not content. Many people have died in the Sahara because they seek greener pastures. I'm not saying that you should not seek to better yourself. Just don't do more than yourself.

Let the thought that in your present situation, you are still better than many keep you going. Don't you ever give up because you think you have it worse than others. Do not also look down on others because you feel you are better than they are. They might be better than you.
