Do you hear what i hear? September 2 already time flies and we really heading to another christmas season. Usually when the month of September comes all of my neighbors play christmas carols this early, decorating their house for the festivities. And i miss those times,because of the pandemic many things have change.

Hello my beautiful friends here i do hope your fine and still safe from all of this chaos were facing from day to day. Blessings with us all always.

Christmas Carols

When i was still a kid and when christmas season is here i always like to hear songs played everywhere related to the festivities. I like to hear all of them and i even sing along with the music.

All time favorite song is "Jingle Bells". Anyone knows this song even kids can recite to you it's famous line "O what fun is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, Hey Jingle bells, jingle bells jingle all the way" I miss this song being sung by the carolers who passby into your house and waiting for some coins. It is one of a heck traditional carols i always heard.

And there was the song "Silent Night Holy Night", the song is telling us that it was the birth of our saviour. When i hear now this song it makes me emotional i do not know why. Maybe i just miss my grandma who is always singing this along with me.

There were also songs like "Joy to the World", and i can't forget the "Little Drummer Boy" i like the way we sing this with our imaginary drum as we sing along with the lyrics of pam pa ram pam ra papam pam. Oh how i miss childhood full of happiness and no sadness, just pure bliss.

As the times go by there were also new songs that was released . There is also the famous song of a Filipino singer Jose Mari Chan "Chrismas in Our Hearts", this song became famous instantly because it has meaning and telling real things happening in our society. Beside every filipino loves Jose Mari there is also one song i like that he is also the singer "Perfect Christmas". Many Christmas songs were really gives joy to me. There were many other carols that always bring good memory when you reminisce them.

Christmas carols or songs makes the season more festive. I also experienced doing carollings in my neighborhood. But that was ages ago. Because of the pandemic many things changes. No more neighborhood who plays music and no one decorate early their houses. Seems the spirit of christmas is set aside. I do hope that this pandemic ends. So i can hear again the songs of christmas from my childhood.

Christmas is coming and i am thinking to save some money to give to those less fortunate. I wish them to have a merry christmas. I wish children would feel the spirit of christmas.

Songs are part of my childhood days. I sing along and sometimes dance along with them. I really wish that we will be back to normal, when we can freely roam so we could have carollers all over the place singing a happy songs of hope and love for one another.

This things and many others i miss when christmas is here i miss the bibingka and puto bumbong, the simbang gabi we had. The family reunions and company gatherings. All of this is set aside for now. Hope this pandemic ends really.
