Hello awesome friends hope everythings fine. How's your weekend? I do hope it all went well and you enjoy your day.
Monday is here, for all of us it is a busy day to start the whole new week. Being on rest for the weekend makes me a little bit lazy on monday. But it can be i need to move and do all my daily routines plus i have an added duty for now. Classes starts and i have two kiddos who need my attention now, i will be their teacher for modular type of class. And this will be how our Monday will begin.
Modules
I woke up early as usual, have my mug of coffee before starting the day. After my coffee i started my duty on our kitchen cooking food for our breakfast. A light drizzle of rain in the morning makes we want to go to bed and extend my sleep. But alas i remember i am a mom and i have chores to do. After cooking and all are awaken we have our breakfast. It is now my struggle after this. I want my kids to feel that they are in real school so i set up a mini corner in our house to be their study place. But sadly i have to teach them one by one so they will understand their lessons. My youngest was the first one i teach with his module. Daycare's first lesson is practicing them with straight line and curves, glad i already practice him before prior to his studies glad we did not encounter hardship in teaching him. After my youngest it was my second daughter i teach, i need to be much more strict with her because her schooling is much different now i want to make sure she will understand her lessons well. But my daughter is already good in writing skills so i need to teach her to read now and i am glad she follows my instructions well.
After our study session, since i want to feel that they are in real school they also have recess, i tell them to choose what they want and really happy that they want healthy snacks they opt for bread and Dutchmill, a yogurt drink for kids.
I am planning to have a flag raising ceremony too so when face to face schooling will be implemented my kids will not adjust too much on that new setting. Did you know that they have their bath early too and dress like they were in school. Kids nowadays are excited hope till last session of our modules they will remain excited as the first session.

It is really different now since the pandemic hit our country. The educational system need to adjust for every students. And since no one is allowed to be in school except for teachers. The parents need to be the teacher of their kids. Modular type of schooling is implemented that is why some parents like me is stuggling, need to balance time, and of course need to study the modules before going to teach to the kids. I am wondering on those parents who have not gain any formal education, how they are coping with this situation. Praying earnestly that this pandemic ends. I know that this is really hard to all of us but we need to accept the new normal for the sake of our kids.
So this will be the end again of my article, i am saying sorry again for my ramblings. I am really struggling on balancing my time teaching my two kiddos. So thank you for reaching again the end my friends. Bless us always.
