The municipality has informed us of the next rainstorm runoff overflow, which will result in flash flooding. When I went out to the garden this morning to pick some vegetables for cooking, I discovered that my chili plant had started to bloom. That those chili flowers can withstand the heavy rain and will soon produce hot chili fruits for my cooking is incredible.

Every night, the rain falls, but today is extra special because it has been falling since early afternoon. It's not surprising that the flooding near my house and town will last longer. I was able to enjoy my garden in the morning because the rain did not start. Some of the colors of Jungle Geranium or Santan Flower are blooming beautifully in a corner of my garden. On a cloudy day, the red color of Jungle Geranium stands out and brightens the garden. Jungle Geranium is one of the flowers that I have in my garden all year.

My neighbors' properties and the town center remain flooded. We had plenty of sunshine during the day, but it was constantly raining at night, making it difficult for flood to recede. With plenty of rainstorm runoff in some shallowed areas of my property, I discovered a small flower field in a variety of flowering colors such as white from Spider Lily, yellow from some weed flowers, and purple from Ruellia Tuberosa, which surprised me because the wind will bring seed from my garden to be in this area. "Noru," a tropical depression, has passed through my city in the last two days, but it is still causing rain. The town center is now completely flooded as a result of rainstorm runoff from the dam and reservoir overflowing and causing a flash flood in the town center from the heavy rain that began again yesterday afternoon and has just stopped. As you can see in the photo, my neighbors' properties have been completely flooded for nearly a month, and the flooding appears to be lasting longer than we anticipated.

With less rain, the weather is improving, but there is still a lack of sunlight. I spent my morning walking around my garden after the rain stopped, enjoying the plants and flowers. The rain has washed away the young small fruits on my Areca Palm. The Areca Palm's green small fruit has developed from the white yellow flower and will soon be red in color. Yesterday, around 7 p.m., Tropical Storm Noru arrived. Even though Noru is no longer a typhoon but rather a depression, rain has been falling in most of Thailand since yesterday. Flash flooding is inevitable in several areas, and rainy weather is expected to continue until the beginning of next month. It was sunny for a few minutes this morning before turning dark and gloomy for the rest of the day. I only stay in the shade and enjoy plants and flowers on my balcony. The tropical storm Noru arrived us at 7 p.m. yesterday, no longer a typhoon but only a depression. Even though it is only a depression, Noru brings rain to the majority of Thailand. Rain has been falling since yesterday, raising the water level and causing flash flooding in many areas. We anticipate that the rainy weather will continue until the beginning of the next month. There was some sunlight this morning before the weather turned dark and gloomy for the rest of the day. The shape and form of the unopened flower of Oxalis Triangularis on my balcony are really lovely. I wish you all a wonderful Thursday.
The typhoon Noru will hit us tomorrow morning, but it will be a depression rather than a typhoon. Heavy rain and tropical rain storms have caused flooding around my neighboring property and many areas in my town in recent weeks. The flooding level will not recede because there is always additional rainfall each day, and flooding will last longer than expected. I am relieved that only a portion of my property was flooded and was not affected or damaged. Some of my property's shallowed flooded areas are now covered with Water Mimoso flowers. Water Mimosa's bright yellow flower stands out against today's dark and gloomy sky.
The rain began yesterday evening, took a brief break in the morning, and has continued to fall until now. My neighboring community has been evacuated for the past two days due to flash flooding. Even Typhoon Noru will hit us early tomorrow morning, but it will no longer be a typhoon but a depression. Some areas, including my neighbors, are completely flooded due to months of rain and accumulation of water from rainstorms. I am still fortunate in that I was not severely affected or damaged by the flooding. When I went out to check on my property this morning, I discovered that some of the shallow flooded areas were now covered with the bright yellow flower of the Water Mimosa. In this dark and gloomy day, the yellow flower of the Water Mimosa really stands out.

After breakfast, I took a nap before getting up at noon to enjoy my plants and flowers in the garden before the rain began to fall. My garden is now overtaken with tiny white Noni Plant flowers. And it appears that the Noni Plant benefits from the rain, as it continues to produce flowering buds, bloom, and then fruits.
It's a gloomy and dark Saturday with wintry showers. So I don't do much except enjoy my plants and flowers in my garden and on my balcony. Now there are lovely Pink Rain Lily flowers that have begun to bloom for a new session. Pink Rain Lily's beautiful pinky flower brightened up my dark and gloomy Saturday. I keep myself busy in the garden by building a structure out of bamboo poles and discarded wooden sticks for my Winged Bean and Winter Melon so that they can creep freely before fruiting. For the past week, it has been extremely hot with strong sunshine during the day and heavy rain at night. The purple flower of the Winged Bean is really lovely and refreshing in the hot sun.

There was no rain during the day, so I took some of my orchids that were planted in hanging baskets to clean and trim their diseased and fungus-infected leaves. The Cattleya Orchid in the photo has been blooming for nearly a month. I adore its showy flowers, which last for a longer period of time if I manage the excess moisture and keep water away from its flowers.
Flooding has damaged crops and plants of many farmers in several areas of my town for more than two months. The rain continues to fall at night, but it is extremely hot and sunny during the day. This has been the pattern for nearly two weeks. Today I cleaned and trimmed the leaves of some of my orchids that were planted in hanging baskets because they were infected with diseases and fungus. If I don't clean it, the infected and fungus will eventually destroy the orchid's root. This Cattleya Orchid in the photo has been blooming for nearly a month. I really like how its showy flower that lasts for a long time if we can control the excess moisture and overwatering that touches the flower.

Noni plants in my garden have been blooming for a few months and are now producing fruits. It will be a yellow, lumpy fruit the size of a mango when fully ripe. It's extremely bitter, with a distinct odor comprising of stinky cheese. Although noni juice is beneficial to our health, I cannot stand the smell, even when mixed with other juices before drinking. I only use its young leaves in cooking, and I fermented Noni Fruits with brown sugar to use as plant fertilizer in my garden.

Several areas in my town were flooded as a result of the heavy rain that fell every night for several days. During the day, however, the weather is completely different, with hot and bright sunshine. Spider Lily's green leaves and white flowers cover some muddy areas on my property. Moreover, the green flowering bud of Spider Lily has captivated me with its green bud that will soon turn into a showy white flower.
According to the morning news, several areas of my town have been flooded as a result of the heavy rain that has been falling all night. The weather is so hot during the day, with bright sunshine, that no one can imagine a nightmare of heavy rain downpour. Every day, I rush around my property to inspect the retaining wall and sand bags that prevent water from flowing through it. Some muddy and wet areas are now covered with green Spider Lily leaves and white flowers. I'm fascinated by its green flowering bud, which will later open to reveal a delicate white Spider Lily flower.
