The Noru typhoon is expected to hit us on Thursday, September 29. However, we had heavy rainfall and flooding in several areas of my town for more than a month. Heavy rain from the Noru typhoon last night completely flooded the road adjacent to my property wall, where I planted mangos, bananas, and other fruit trees. The community at the end of the road was evacuated last night, and the road is now like a canal, with flooding at your hip level if you commute along it. I can't imagine how things will be when the Noru typhoon hits us in a few days.

What contributes to the slow receding of flood waters? Just asking. Keep safe and dry, Andy.
We have tropical rainstorms and additional rainfall at each day over a month.
Damm that's very bad, in which place you live?
My house, garden, and primary living area are not flooded. Only a portion of my property has been flooded.
Oh still this seems bad, I was asking about the region or country.
