According to the morning news, several areas of my town have been flooded as a result of the heavy rain that has been falling all night. The weather is so hot during the day, with bright sunshine, that no one can imagine a nightmare of heavy rain downpour. Every day, I rush around my property to inspect the retaining wall and sand bags that prevent water from flowing through it. Some muddy and wet areas are now covered with green Spider Lily leaves and white flowers.
