Hello everyone, I haven't uploaded a single article in these few weeks i know nobody cares lol but i am stuck in a very big problem but from now I'll constantly upload Articles and also read other one as well. But just one thing i want is your support so if you are reading or tapped in this Article please support me if you like the article.

Incredibly, a vast majority of smokers really do want to quit smoking -- until they quit, that is; then they can't stay busy enough finding reasons they can't stay quit.

Sadly, 80% of all smokers who quit, start again. That means a scant 20% remain quit.

Most Common Reasons Given for Starting up Again:

  • I'm just too agitated.

  • I've developed an even worse cough.

  • I'm getting terrible headaches.

  • I've become stressed, nervous and depressed.

  • I'm not able to sleep well and it's affecting my work.

Now is not a good time.

Staying Quit is Easy ... Except that:

Despite the terrible obstacles thrown into the life paths of every single human being on the planet -- 99% of which are more trying and difficult than quitting smoking -- and despite the fact that we find a way to get around every single one of these problems, even the most serious among them, most of us allow ourselves to be stopped dead in our tracks when it comes to quitting smoking?

Why?

Believe it or not, because we won't take the time to learn how addiction works. If smokers would do that one thing, we could reverse the numbers virtually overnight: 80% of them would stay quit and only 20% would start again.

Would you think of driving a car without learning what each of the pedals does, and even after you were taught what each of the pedals and instruments does, did you drive perfectly ever after?

No. Moreover, you're still learning things about driving today.

Did you cook the perfect meal first time you tried? Didn't you almost cut off a finger several times? Wasn't it nearly impossible to learn how to get all 3 courses of the meal on the table, hot, at the same time? Didn't you forget about the pie in the oven at least a dozen times and turn the kitchen into something more resembling a forest fire?

In fact, these many years later, aren't you still learning how to cook?

Did you "learn" to ride a bike without falling off a dozen times or do any one of a thousand other things without first having to learn HOW to do them?

It's Much Easier to Beat Ourselves than Addiction:

We don't quit smoking not because we're addicted but because we're not willing to learn HOW addiction keeps us addicted, and secondly, because after we quit we don't want to stay quit. Our addiction helps us decide it's alright.

And yet, while nicotine is now considered 10 times more addictive than even heroin, smoking and the use of other tobacco products is perfectly legal.

Just imagine that in your community residents could walk down the street sniffing glue, snorting crack cocaine or injecting heroin, and yet, these are all 10 times LESS addictive than nicotine.

A second reason we don't quit is because we don't like the single most powerful means of quitting: coaching. Something about "coaching" suggests there's something wrong with our own ability and intelligence. Worse, coaching isn't like a pill we can take at night with the promise of being addiction-free by dawn. We're a society having a love affair with drugs, pills in particular.

Besides, today is not a good day to quit. No, neither is tomorrow or next month. It won't really be something 80% of us think it's a good thing to do for 20-30 years...when we are prematurely wrinkled, cough all day, suffer from shortness of breath, have stained yellow teeth, higher insurance rates and have surrendered the bulk of our self-esteem, pride and dignity to cigarettes -- which become our personality instead.

You bring up interesting points. How then does a person overcome nicotine addiction? And where would they find coaching?

Keep your mouth busy with gum, hard candy, and crunchy (healthy) food. Use nicotine replacement therapy, like gum, lozenges, or the patch. Go for a walk or do some quick exercises when a craving hits. Head to a public place where you can't smoke. Call or text a friend. Take deep breaths. Hope this helps you
