Finally, I can continue my crocheting journey—my new hook just arrived! I could barely see my old one anymore, so I had no choice but to get a new one. Hayst, I'm so ready to get back to it!

Why do you always show up when I least expect it? You're so hard to read. When I’m waiting for you, you’re nowhere to be found. But the moment I stop thinking about you — there you are, again...
What a lucky way to start the morning. My mom came home already irritated because she got soaked in the rain. When she arrived, she went straight to the faucet to connect the hose — but it kept slipping off no matter how many times she tried. Frustrated, she hit the faucet... and boom — the pipe misaligned and water started spraying everywhere. Now we’re all wet. What a great morning indeed.
Time check 12:10 am, yet I am still outside our house. I am sleepy, I want to sleep. But yeah, for sure when get home I will just watch some kdrama.
I Can’t Hate It, But I Can’t Accept It Either I'm really sad right now. I just want to let this all out — so here I am, pouring my thoughts and emotions. I truly love *I Love You Since 1892*. It’s one of those stories that became a part of my heart, and its author has always been my favorite. But right now, I can’t say I’m happy with her. The novel recently got an adaptation, and while that should’ve been a moment of celebration, it honestly just left me disappointed. Marlo Mortel and Janella Salvador have portrayed Juanito and Carmela — the story’s main characters — for nearly a decade. They were the faces of the book itself, even appearing on the covers and joining book signings. For us, the readers, they became the embodiment of the characters. So naturally, we looked forward to the day they'd bring them to life on screen. But that dream didn't happen. Destiny had other plans. I don’t want to hate the author. I know she fought for MarNella, but in the end, she's only the writer of the novel — not the scriptwriter or director. The moment she give the rights, she also gave the power to control the production to them. And as much as I try to understand, it still hurts. I know this adaptation was a dream come true for her, and I wish I could be happy for her. But part of me feels sad — especially when some fans start turning their backs on her because of this. I just wish the director chose more better. I have nothing against the new cast. In fact, I liked Heaven Peralejo and Jerome Ponce in the *University Series* adaptation. But for *I Love You Since 1892*, they just don’t feel right. I even tried to give them a chance — I watched the trailer — but it's not giving. It didn’t give the same magic, the same emotions we’ve all held onto for years. Maybe I would’ve been more open if they picked completely new faces instead of reusing actors from another Wattpad adaptation. But at the end of the day, what can we do? We have no power to change the cast or the decisions already made. So I’ve decided not to engage with the adaptation at all. I’ll just pretend it never happened. Maybe it’s a red flag to turn away, but it’s better than holding resentment. Still, despite my disappointment, I truly hope the actors give justice to the story — especially for those who haven’t read it. I want them to understand why this novel means so much to us. Why even when it hurts, we keep coming back to it.
So you’re telling us now that we should just accept the suffering? That all we can do is deal with the harsh weather we’re experiencing—accept that our homes will flood every rainy season? What an inspiring message, truly.
Do I even have the right to feel disappointed? I just want to forget that I Love You Since 1982 has an adaptation. It honestly makes me sad and frustrated. But no matter what I do, my newsfeed keeps showing updates about the cast, and I just can’t escape it. Maybe I should stay off Facebook for a while. I don’t want to feel this way—I don’t want to think badly of the author. She’s my favorite, and I’ve always admired her. But this time… I just can’t support this.
I know I should be thankful. After two weeks of nonstop rain, the flood still hasn’t reached our home—and for that, I’m truly grateful. But deep inside, I can’t shake off the worry and sadness. It's heartbreaking to see my friends and so many others on social media battling the floodwaters, losing sleep, their belongings, even their sense of peace. I hope this would finally stop.......
Arghhhh, I can't find my crochet hook. I just use it earlier then, in one snap i can't find it. I don't know how is that happen, or maybe my mother put it in the trash while we are cleaning??? I hope it's not, I am crying right now.
Rise up! It’s time to clean up the mess left by the rainy season. There’s so much to do, but I hope we can finish everything today. We clean—not just to tidy up—but to prepare for the next wave of storms.
Yeah, I guess this is the end. A part of me still wants to hold on, to hope for a different ending. But maybe it's time to stop waiting for something that may never come, and start learning how to move on.
Sometimes I wonder—if I were a boy, maybe my father could finally take it easy, and I could be the one to handle our problems during this rainy season. So he wouldn’t have to keep fighting with his aching body just to carry the weight of responsibility.
Having a toddler in the house is pure chaos. Earlier, my nephew visited, and now our place looks like a super typhoon just passed through. But honestly, I missed him—it’s been a while since I last saw him. I love how he always looks at me first before my parents. Look, I’m clearly the favorite! WHSHHSHSHSHSHS. Just be thankful I love him, or I wouldn't be so willing to clean up all his mess!
I should have said what I wanted to say, so I shouldn't think and think it over and over again. I just wish I had the courage to say it back then.
When you start to see your parents slowly getting older—when their steps become slower, their backs a little more hunched, and pain begins to show in their tired bodies—it hits me. It’s a kind of ache that sinks deep in my heart. Oh Lord, please give me the strength and chance to give them the life they truly deserve... before time takes away what I can never get back
The ship stuck on our dike has been here for almost a year now. And every time there's a typhoon, here we are again, our houses feel like they’re on swings as the ship repeatedly crashes against the dike, causing everything to shake. Tonight, I can't sleep. I can hear the ship slamming into the dike, and the continuously shaking of our house is unsettling. I just hope the sea calms down soon... I hope I could finally sleep.....
Are you avoiding me? I hope not. I honestly don’t know what to do or if I did something wrong. If I did, please tell me......
Rain, rain, go away... Here we go again—rainy season. Laziness hits me so easily, like my bed is calling me to sleep all day.
A Place I Call My Comfort Zone It’s just a small room—but it’s full of love. One step through the door and you can already see everything: the dining table, the kitchen, and the comfort room. When we’re all here, it can get messy. It gets crowded fast, you can barely move around, and yes, it’s stressful at times. But it’s home. Go up to the second floor and you’ll see clothes hanging everywhere— clothes we always forget to fold. The heat up there in the afternoon feels like punishment. Even staying for a minute will make you sweat like crazy. This is where we all sleep together— my father, my mother, my two brothers, and me. We share a single bed where so many things happen at night: my father’s thunderous snores, my brother’s sudden kicks, someone’s arm across your face, legs tangled like vines— you can barely breathe sometimes. But still, somehow, you sleep soundly. It’s small. Too small, maybe. But I love this place. I love how the moment I walk in, everyone’s voice bursts into life like fireworks. My father is already cracking his silly jokes, the kind that makes us laugh long after he stops talking. My mother is quick to correct his stories—especially the romantic ones— always interrupting with her version, while also gossiping about her friends like the chismosa she is. And my brothers? They love to tease me like it’s their full-time job. It’s chaotic. It’s loud. It’s not perfect. But it’s mine. And I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Grrrr, I want to study naaaaa but ang gulo gulo ng school namin... I heard that the opening of the school year is in October. Ang tagal pa nun 😭😭😭
It's a great feeling to talk to an old friend. I adore how, even after a year, we're talking like old times. In just a year many things happen; there are so many chances, but our closeness never changes. Oh, to have a friend like this.
Sleep, where are you??? I want to sleepppp!!! Please visit me right now....... The sun are now ready to up and my eyes still up
Nawa'y huminto na ng halimaw na bumabalot sa aking kaisipan —pumukaw sa aking diwa. Maari bang tama na? Maari bang huminga muna? Akin munang dadamhin ang lamig ng gabi.
My Thoughts When I Start A New Life Hi, it seems like life is getting more messy. I recently enrolled in my dream university and dream course. However, I have a lot of worries right now. Did you experience this as well? Even though I know it's normal, I still don't like it. Despite getting my dream course, I feel uncertain if I can really enjoy and succeed in it. If you ask me what course I have enrolled in, well, it is Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. When I first read about this course, I already saw myself studying this course. To the point that I never consider any course other than this, but when I got it, I don't know, I felt pressured. What if I just like the idea of this? But it's not really what I want. But yeah, no matter what, I still take it; I'd rather suffer through this than regret not taking it. Actually, it's not what I am worrying about the most; I feel more pressure if my parents can really support me in this. I know that we are not financially stable, even though they assured me that they will support me no matter what. However, I don't want them to feel pressured, to worry, and to fight because of money. I really hate it. That's why I want to work, but my parents don't want me to. I also worried if I work, can my body endure everything? I'm worried about my finances, but I am more worried about my body. It is more important to me. But my study is important to me too. I just wish I were smart like them to get a scholarship too. So I don't need to worry about this, but this is life. This is my reality; I am just an average. For all of this, I still do believe in God, that in His will I can get what I want. I will graduate and make my family proud. God willing, I know everything will be fine at the right time. Good night!!!
Hey, Speak Up! Have you met someone who is a passive-aggressive person? People who always deny their feelings, like in words, deny it, but in their actions, you will feel the opposite of their words. Like, what the? I ask you if you're okay or if there's anything wrong, but you say it's ok; everything is fine, but after that, he will give you a silent treatment or sarcastic remarks. How funny that you can never predict his next action; you did even know that he did every negative behavior that you know behind your back. And what's really funny is that it's your fault that you did not know what the reason for his action was. Like, are you okay? I meet many people like this, and sometimes I'm tired of this drama. I never ever reach out to you if you will be like this. I never beg someone who is losing a chance to communicate with and understand them. I don't care if they get angry; duh, they even don't have the right to get angry at me when they didn't even tell me directly what the problem was. I'm just human too; I don't have the superpower to know everything. If I did wrong, oh girl, tell me, tell me what part of my actions I offend you or I hurt you. I already did my part; I ask you; all you need to do is tell me. And what did you expect that I would cry at your actions? Oh, its a big no. I'm just wasting my time communicating to someone who lacks the confidence to even engage in conversation. I knowledge that communication might be challenging, but it is not a justification. You need to be vocal; it's not just for you or for me but for both sides. We need to be vocal to express our feelings, so people will understand you too. There is nothing wrong with being vocal. How could you ask for understanding but refuse to communicate? When you consistently cause confusion, how can you expect to be understood?
How Cruel The Faith To Me There are no words to express this feeling. I'm wounded. I'm hoping this is only a dream. I'm hoping I've awakened already. I can still give you a hug. How in just one glance Everything has vanished. How from twenty to To become eighteen To become fifteen Then, in just a minute, They become ten. And other minutes They become five. Then, all of them disappear in just one snap. I can't bear it. I hope that I can talk to them. Watching them weep hurts. Like they want to say, "Mommy, we are hurting." "We can't do this anymore." "Sorry if we are leaving you so early." It hurts to see them vomiting. That yellow liquid has become red. Witnessing how your breath gradually becomes your last breath Just yesterday, everyone was eating heartily. Now everyone doesn't bite any food I give them. Oh, my poor dogs I can't see them like this. How? How can we move on from this? Can I still live without all of you? Why do you need to leave me together? It's hard to accept This nightmare are is still keeping me from waking up.
What A Tight Schedule Since the school year is now in August instead of June, it has become quite difficult for both teachers and students. We were astounded by this announcement. Many questions running into my mind. Like, How can we learn? How in the world can our teacher teach all of the lessons from the third and fourth quarters in just four months? Do they really believe we can learn everything in four months? There are just twenty days in a month, and four months is only eighty days, without counting the holiday we have throughout these four months. Not to mention that every Friday they established the DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) reading program and the Catch-up Friday. We have a total of only 68 days left in the second semester. Really? I completely see why the school calendar was suddenly changed. I am aware that they intend to protect learners from the heat and other negative effects of summer temperatures, but what about the lessons we should be accomplish? Is it truly worth sacrificing it? I don't even want to hate my teachers since I know they're under pressure to teach us everything because there isn't as much time as there used to be. Then, if they don't teach everything to us, that's a huge insult to them. How nakakairita. My professors are under pressure, and I can tell that this year is different from previous in the way they discuss and communicate. The thing that baffles me is why DEAR and catch-up Friday have been implemented every Friday despite the school year being shortened this year. I apologize, but I think it's a time waster. The curriculum forces us to pause the class every Friday, particularly if we are running out of time to discuss each subject. We lose seven lessons and seven subjects because they are unable to teach us on Friday. Every Friday, let's imagine there are seven lessons we could learn but fails to do so. I understand why they utilized it as well, but is now the appropriate time to do that? When is our schedule getting to be tight? For me, they should to execute those plans next year. Those programs could possibly wait to be put into action, I guess..... You know what irritates me so much about it? The requirement that teachers give an assignment nearly every day in order for us to make up the entirety of our lessons. After giving us homework assignments and after having a lesson discussion, then they will the intruduce new lecture tomorrow. Then it happens again the next day. I hate it since there are always more than three activities and homework to do each day that needs to be completed after a day. I'm under a lot of stress, and I'm not sure what to do first because my mind isn't functioning well, right now. Especially our research. I like our topic, but he pressures us. I can't help but cram our research, and I don't like it. But what can I do? Research is not the only subject we have. WHSHSHSHSHSHSHS, did I just go on a rant? What am I able to do? Now that everything is in chaos, I'm still wondering where my sleeping pattern went. I'm the kind of person who always values health over education, but what happened to that? WHSHHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHS I feel bad for sleeping when I know that my classmates and group members are staying up late due to our activities. Also before, I usually examine the tasks for the day after school, but right now WHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH When I look at my schedule, my activities, and the deadline, I'm already exhausted. I hope it's already summer when I wake up, hehehehehehehe.....
No Perfect Relationship Hey, you thought you had a perfect circle of friends or relationship because you didn't have a fight. Oh, darling, you're wrong. It's not healthy at all; Do you think that's how relationships are? Did you know that the relationships that didn't fight were the most secret to each other? Yes, it is. They are the worst. You are not the same person, so do you expect that you will always have the same mind? No, nobody's the same as you. As Love isn't perfect. We always intend to make mistakes. Whether we want it or not,. Humans are not perfect. If we are not perfect, then there's no perfect relationship at all. All relationships –friendship, family, partner, etc.–go through a trial. There's always misunderstandings, fights, and arguments. And it's normal. Sometimes it's okay to have misunderstandings because it leads us to better understanding of each other. Sometimes it's okay to fight because it leads to learning their other side. Don't let one misunderstanding lead to walking apart. Hold on; keep each other's hands! Don't give up on each other. Despite knowing and seeing their other side and their bad traits, There is still the same person you know, but of course he is just a human. We are prone to make mistakes. Be observers. What if he wants to say something? What if he didn't agree with you? But you do not let him talk. Maybe you didn't see it, but there is something in his mind that he wants to say but doesn't know how to do it. Be open-minded and considerate; You don't need to always believe someone, but please consider every side of your people. Let them become vocal, just as you also become vocal to them. That's how relationships are.
