Hey readers, hope you are all doing fine. Today is easter Sunday, so let me take this opportunity to wish you a happy easter.

Easter is celebrated by Christians as the day Jesus Christ was resurrected. It is a day widely known as the day Jesus rose from the dead.

It was a fact that Jesus was killed on a cross and raised from the dead. The details of his death and resurrection are of great importance to Christians. These events are believed by Christians to be what brought Jesus into the presence of God and gives Jesus the role of being a savior for all people.

Jesus Christ, the Almighty God and Creator of the universe, was born as a baby 2,000 years ago. His birth changed the course of history forever. No other man has ever lived a life like Jesus or changed the world like he did.

However, there are many reasons why we celebrate Easter. The real story of Easter and its meanings are Jesus' teachings, His crucifixion and resurrection.

Jesus died for our sins. The sacrifice he made is one that is unparalleled and will always be the greatest gift in history. But it's also a gift that can be forgotten.

Jesus didn't die for himself, he died for you and me.

Jesus died on the cross, so that we could live eternally with God. He died to forgive our sins and reconcile us with God.

He will help you when you are struggling and give you strength when the going gets tough.

Reason why Jesus dies for our sins

There are many reasons why Jesus died for our sins on the cross of Calvary.

  • To overcome Satan

The death and resurrection of christ defeated satan. The Bible says that Jesus came to defeat Satan. "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil"

  • So we can have eternal life

  • To know God intimately

  • That we might have peace with God

But more than that, Jesus died for you and me. A loving and all powerful God who made us in His image wanted to be close to us. In fact, the Bible made it known that God loved us do much to the extent of giving up Jesus to die for us.

Jesus loved us so much that He was willing to lay down His life for us, even though we were sinners.

Closing thought

It is up to us to live a life worthy of the sacrifice He made on Calvary's cross. So let's not make the same mistake Peter did and miss this incredible offer of grace God is offering us. When Jesus comes again, it will be too late to change your mind and decide to follow Him.

After Jesus died, he rose again on the third day and later ascended into Heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of the Father. We as believers have been given the Holy Spirit to live in us, which gives us access to God's power. The Holy Spirit does not take the place of Jesus; He is living proof that Jesus lives.
