Overthinking won't solve problems, better days are coming don't lose hope.
Overthinking is a form of procrastination in which one thinks excessively about an issue then wonders why the issue has not been resolved.
This can be a problem for some people, when they sit in one place and think about something for too long, without ever taking action to make the situation better.
Overthinking doesn't solve any problem. I'm never overthinking as i'm too busy doing better things.
Personally, I go through phases where I'll overthink something. It can be anything from worrying about my bank account to overthinking why things aren't going well. To be honest, I've gone past that nowadays. I don't stress myself thinking again.
The older I get, the less I overthink and the less I worry. It's probably because I'm getting better at fixing things myself instead of waiting for someone else to fix them for me.
Have faith in yourself and your abilities, then put everything you have into every decision you make. You'll end up where you were meant to be. It's as simple as that.
So, if you have a problem or need help with solving a problem, please stop over-thinking about it. You might not be doing anything about it. In my opinion, over-thinking is the biggest reason why most people don't do anything about their problems. Because they get stuck in the idea that there must be a perfect solution to the problem and that solution must pass a test before they consider acting on it.
For example, it is commonly believed that the more we worry about a problem, the more solutions we'll come up with to help solve it. The opposite is true.
The more we worry about a problem, the more our brains become exhausted and then start to shut down, leading to lack of solutions. Scientists have proved this by putting people in a brain scanner and then asking them to solve a brain teaser. This was the outcome of the test;
1. When people were told to stop thinking about the problem and relax, they came up with many solutions.
2. When they were asked to keep worrying about the problem, their brains saw less activity as they became exhausted by overthinking.
To stop overthinking, we need to free our minds of distractions and give them the space they need to review our problems and see obvious solutions.
Closing thought:
Too small, too big, not enough, too much…
These are the excuses we tell ourselves every day to not do what we want. Focus on the process and not on the result. Doing this will not only let you get your goal faster, but it'll also give you the real pleasure of living.
So, stop thinking too much and try to live freely.
The trick is to know that:
Nothing comes to those who don't ask for it.
Nothing comes to those who don't work for it.
So, go for your wish, Go for your goal, Go for your dreams.

Thanks for sharing, honestly speaking I overthink too much, it hovering over my qualities now but I'm trying my best to overcome this bad habit as I keep my self busy now , your article gave me a motivation , over thinking is toxic and it only damages our ability to think and cope with situations so we all should avoid this to lead a better life, free from depression and meaningless tensions.
