The gilding process My dear N is a restaurator and conservator of arts. It looks like it sounds, hehe. We have been together for over 12 years now and her work still surprises me. To be fair, gilding is quite common and this is how it looks like. A wooden (any material really) statue is prepared with bolus, a mixture of finest clay and a solvent/glue, polished, then the gold is applied with special brushes onto a special solvent ptepared surface. Today is the last day of work for my dear N, at least for a year. She is now 7+ months pregnant and is getting a year off work. I know this is not common for all countries, but it should be. Stone 2 Fish Today my 5yr old Lili had the last day of her swimming lessons. It lasted for 5 days, 1hr per day and she still cannot truly swim, but she's making progress. We only just returned from the one day excursion to the sea side. It's 22:43 and I'm not tired. I'm completely wasted. Sajmir monkeys can leave their enclosure and wander outside. They have a tree they can climb on on an island and they do not like the water, so they come quite up close but cannot run away. While the balcony pumpkin plant isn't doing too well, the balcony chilly is having the sun of his life! The bush is quite old and we had it inside at all times. It developed nicely, once even produced a single flower, bit never a chilly fruit. We kept it as an indoor green plant for years.
