True Power
In this world we live in, power is something that everyone wants a taste of. From the people you know to the people you don’t, everyone’s got a little bit of thirst in them. We all want to feel like we have a say in what happens around us and that we’re not simply living our lives as pawns in someone else’s game. Some try to diminish the meaning by calling it "freedom".
Sometimes, these feelings can lead to thoughts, ideas, and actions that are less than desirable. The road to power is paved with dishonesty, deceit, and murder; those that seek power often find themselves paying the ultimate price. Not in all cases, you'd say, but in most cases, it is if you will agree with me.
Power can be intoxicating. Power can make you desire more power, for having control over a few things is never enough. We've heard different stories of Kings and leaders who desired more and took the wrong part to achieve this. There's the news a popular politician that has turned himself into a "Kingmaker" going around. He has been the one selecting the candidate for a particular political party in the state and was among those who selected the present president. One will think with the power and influence he has he will be satisfied but "no" he isn't. He aspires to be the next president and his actions say he wants it at all cost.
Power can change people drastically overnight. It's something special to be the one controlling the actions of others, dictating to them what they should do. We all have experienced it at one point or the other, either in school, at work or at home. It's common to see seniors in high schools bullying the juniors because they believe they are more powerful than them physically and by virtue of level. Power, as many will agree, is a great position to be in. There is nothing wrong with aspiring for it, neither is there anything wrong with having it; but one has to learn how to manage it, so as not to destroy oneself in the process.
How then can we caution ourselves? How do we keep ourselves in check? The answer isn't farfetched. Contentment is the key. Being satisfied with what you have but aspiring for more the rightful way.
Contentment is something every person should have. It is the power to be alright and to make the best of what you have. Contentment is the ability to be happy with what you have, even if it’s not enough. It is an understanding that things won’t always be perfect and that sometimes you will even have to settle for less than what you would like. But it will also give you a better insight on how to make your life work better with what you do have.
If you're born into the kind of power that will make you king, then you need to learn how to manage it. You need to learn how to stay humble and hungry so that your gift will continue to grow.
Power comes from the outside, from others. It arrives in the form of respect or the position of influence. When you find yourself in power or wishing to rise, your hunger and thirst grow with it. But what happens when you begin to believe that you got where you are all by yourself? What happens if you stop chasing after more? What if power begins to look like everything you wanted for yourself?
If all things in your life begin to reflect the thirst for more that was once fierce, then something's wrong. You're not thirsty anymore, because you have acquired enough. You feel like you've arrived. Your hunger has turned against you.
True power lies in the influence you have on others to get better. The ability to help others become better is where power lies. Until one realises this, one will continue to fight for more power without getting satisfied.

I agree with you dear friend but actually there is a think lile whoever want to play with the power once he has got to suffer for it too. Most of the time corrupted persons misuse the power to harm others and thinks or makes their own profit.
